So...I just learned about Indigo Park. After seeing the ad for Chapter 2 and then watching Chapter 1, I kind of want to try and run a TTRPG based off of it (and other Mascot Horror games). I'm still mulling over the details, but the summary of the basic premise is as follows...

A small group of people (about 4-5 people) all meet at an abandoned and derelict amusement park, all for their own reasons. The amusement park had opened 15 years ago, greatly advertised and rising in popularity, only for it to suddenly shut down 5 years ago. Nobody knows why the park shut down, and any articles or information about the park were all deleted or taken down from various sources. The only clue and hope the investigators have is the AI Mascot Guide in the Amusement Park who seems to be more than just mere programming...

As for the Game System, I'm currently thinking of using either D&D 5e 2014, or Candela Obscura. Depending on what everyone would be interested in.

Characters

@rush99999 as Duck Billed O'Malley (The Monstrous - Monster of the Week)
@XxFellsingxX as Loch (The Flake - Monster of the Week)
@ihinka as Cassidy Byrne (The Spooky - Monster of the Week)
@Redking0380 as William Aubergine (The Wronged - Monster of the Week)

(Optional Slot 5 is Open) as ????

I'm down for this, if you would have me.

In regards to the system... D&D and modern settings have never really mixed all that well in my experience. And I've never played Candela Obscura before, so I would be unable to weigh in on that front. If I were to run a story such as the one you have laid out, Urban Shadows would be the system I would turn to.

Of course I'll have you!

I was able to watch Candela Obscura and how it was played on Critical Role, but this would be my first time running it. ^^" But it is essentially a different version of Call of Cthulhu.
I have the Quickstart Guide, and I'm considering getting the actual rule book for myself soon.

The Quickstart Guide's rules/mechanics were posted in Roll20! I'll post the link here just in case: roll20.net/compendium/candela/The Mec…

I'll have to look up Urban Shadows and see how that works, because I'm not as familiar with it. ^^" Thank you for letting me know. XD

Thank you very much! XD
This will surely help improve the park.

I also have the six pregenerated character sheets for Candela Obscura ready for ease of play, just in case. ^_^ All that would be needed is details about the character themselves, while the mechanics are taken care of.

I've managed to get my hands on a complete set of the rules for Candela, as well as fillable character sheets for each character. I've also got a mascot horror style character for Urban Shadows tucked away somewhere. Once you've settled on a system, let me know which one it is and I'll have a character ready shortly thereafter.

Ooh! Thank you!

I looked over Urban Shadows, and I don't think that would fit after thinking things over. However, it is a Powered by the Apocalypse game like Epyllion and after checking the other PbtA games, I found that Monster of the Week would also fit with what I have in mind for this game. ^_^

Ooo....I should have clarified something. ^^"

My intention was to have the Player Characters be the Human Investigators. ^^"

Sorry for the confusion.

@rush99999 Actually...disregard my previous post.

I read the backstory, and that fits with the premise. So, it can work after thinking over it. However, I will say that your character will most likely be the only animatronic in the group of investigators.

@rush99999 I have edited the first post in this Interest Check to keep track of characters/players interested in this game.

So...I just learned about Indigo Park.

Welcome to the fandom!

And you know what? This sounds like a fun idea. Never played Monster of the Week, even though I own the book, and I think this would be a cool introduction. I will be part of the crew, if you'll have me!

Planning on playing the Flake. Playing a paranoid conspiracy theorist in what is already a stressful situation sounds like a fun time.

@rush99999 I don't know if we're doing the History bit yet, or we're waiting for more characters, but because your character is an animatronic, and because their place closed at the same time as the park we'll be investigating, I think it would be only fitting for O'Malley to this attributed with:
"They’re somehow tied into it all. You’ve been keeping an eye on them."
Loch is simultaneously fascinated by O'Malley and thinks he's 'pretty cool', but can't shake the feeling that he can't be trusted. (Though Loch finds it hard to trust most people, so...)

Fitting indeed. How's this for yours?

"They are tied to your curse or origin. Tell them how."

Back before it closed down, Loch (and any other Gardyne who likes pizza and/or bowling and/or animatronics) was a regular customer of Duck-Billed O'Malley's Pizzeria and Bowling Alley after moving away from Scotland, drawn back time and again by the delicious pizza, the amazing bowling, and the state of the art animatronic entertainers. Once they started getting into conspiracy theories though, just how much more state of the art the animatronics were than their competitors became rather suspicious to Loch. And after a lengthy investigation, they discovered missing person's reports for 26 criminals who vanished seemingly without a trace during the 80s and 90s. There were 26 animatronics at Duck-Billed O'Malley's, and each of them had voices, speech patterns, and mannerisms that were suspiciously similar to one of the missing criminals. Duck-Billed O'Malley himself lines up in this regard with Henry McDevitt, who was a notoriously brutal Irish gangster in the 80s and the first of the 26 criminals to go missing.

I like this! Sure thing. Though it's probably just Loch themself who visited the Pizzaria and Bowling Alley (maybe with a couple of friends) and not any of their family members. Loch's family is back in Scotland and Loch's not particularly close with any of them.
