His eyes are bright, ocean-blue, framed by long lashes and a dazzling smile that could probably get him out of a parking ticket. He keeps his skin glowing, sometimes literally, thanks to a meticulous skincare routine and his powers.

When not in costume, Julian leans into a soft luxury, with stylish trenchcoats, fitted tees, fitted jeans, trendy sneakers, and layered gold jewelry. You’ll usually catch him wearing light-reflective sunglasses, a perfectly curated outfit, and carrying his phone like it’s another limb (he is constantly updating his socials, after all).

His hero costume is sleek and futuristic: a white body suit with metallic gold panels. There are glowing accents that pulse with light as he uses his powers. His chest emblem is a stylized sunburst. He also wears a white cape for the drama.

Superpower: Photokinesis: Julian can generate, control, and shape light energy. He can emit brilliant bursts of light, create solid light constructs (like shields or platforms), form dazzling illusions by bending light, or blind foes with solar flare-like flashes. He can also glow softly or radiantly, controlling his brightness at will.

Personality: He’s charming, expressive, and unapologetically extra. He leans into the glamorous side of hero work with genuine enthusiasm. He flirts like it’s breathing, hypes his teammates constantly, and somehow makes even disasters sound like PR wins.

He can be a little vain, and maybe a touch addicted to the praise… but it’s part of the package. Behind the bravado, he’s sincere, vulnerable, and deeply driven to make people feel safe and inspired. Whether he’s hyping up his teammates or comforting a scared civilian, Julian brings warmth wherever he goes. He also hides a vulnerable side. The fear that without all the sparkle, he’s nothing special. That fear drives him harder than he’d like to admit.

Biography: Julian’s powers first emerged when he was 8 years old. He started glowing while sobbing during a sad scene in a movie he was watching. What others saw as a strange mutation, Julian’s mother saw as a brand opportunity. Vanessa St. Clair, a popular talk show host and media personality, immediately leaned into the photogenic glow. Her son wasn’t just gifted, he was marketable.

From then on, Julian’s life was scheduled around press opportunities, curated appearances, and perfectly framed social media moments. Vanessa documented everything. First glow, first controlled burst, first viral moment. She wasn’t malicious, just so consumed by the dream of fame that she couldn’t see her son as anything else. Julian’s father, Darius, quietly disapproved, but years in the entertainment industry had taught him that objections often went unheard. Vanessa didn’t listen. Her son was going to be a star, whether he liked it or not.

Julian tried to make the best of it. He liked the attention, the applause, the way people lit up when they saw him. But part of him always wondered if they’d still love him when he wasn’t shining.

In college, Julian took back some control. With no official costume and no team, he began doing small acts of heroism. Including rescuing people from fires, defusing fights, helping in disaster zones, and uploading short clips online. His kindness, stage presence, and thirst-trap charm quickly won over the public. One especially dramatic rooftop rescue went viral, and the nickname “Spotlight” was born.

Appearance: Magdalene is a slender girl, about 5 feet 6 inches. Looking quite average except for her albinism. Because of this, her hair and skin are porcelain white. And her eyes are bright pink. Besides her albinism, most people would remember how mousey and almost forgettable Maggie looks.

Magdalene, in civilian clothes, wears a blue-and-white dress that stops just above her knees. On her feet, she wears red slippers with blue socks. Her costume consists of a 19th-century-style black dress and black lace-up boots. Over her face is a black funeral veil that covers her face.

Superpower:

Eldritch Knowledge: Maggie has studied the occult and forbidden knowledge for most of her life. She knows hidden and otherworldly knowledge. Of course, learning and understanding this kind of knowledge has led Maggie to develop erratic behaviour. Having constant nightmares and is battling for control of her mind from otherworldly beings. She has learned to read and write ancient languages on Earth and of other worlds. Communicating with entities not from earth either through her dreams or through hallucinations. She can speak, read, and write ancient and eldritch languages.

Supernatural Sight: Maggie can see through the veil of reality, able to see things that normal people cannot. She can also see a faint “ghost” of the past.

Magical Telekinesis: Maggie can move, manipulate, or control objects using only her magic without any physical interaction.

Personality: Maggie is what people would call an oddball. Having an eccentric personality that unsettles people. For the most part, she is friendly toward most people. However, she has a hard time connecting with and speaking to others. It takes a bit of effort to figure out people’s emotions. And she has trouble following directions. Wanting to get close to people who show her any sort of kindness, and will cling to that person. At times, she can be pretty childish and selfish. Additionally, she is loyal to a fault to people she considers friends.

Biography: The Blackmore family is ancient, tracing its roots to 15th-century England. Her family is a collective of witches and wizards. Sometime in the 17th century, her family moved to Providence, Rhode Island, after being driven out by angry villagers. It was rumoured that one of her ancestors tried to conduct some sort of black magic ritual involving a human sacrifice. Her family kept practicing magic and nearly perished during the witch trials. Luckily, her family escaped the flames and extended their line across Rhode Island, Maine, and Boston.

She was born to a blind mother and an unknown father. At a young age, she read and spoke earlier than most children. Even growing faster than most of the other children. Her childhood and teenage years were quite challenging as her family was stigmatized, which left her quite lonely. Her grandfather also helped raise her and taught her magic.

She found solace in reading her family’s vast amount of books. Her only friends were her grandfather and the many pets she had. When she was twelve, her mother disappeared one night while on one of her midnight walks—leaving her in the care of her grandfather. Her grandfather told her she would be on her own one day and would need to draw back the evil that was coming to Earth. When she was eighteen, her grandfather died, and with her grimoire in hand, she decided to dedicate her life to fighting the ancient evil trying to destroy humanity.

Appearance: Annika is tall, lanky, and almost skeletal in build; a body shaped more by long hours of stillness than physical exertion. Her Scandinavian heritage is unmistakable: pale skin, sharp facial features, long blonde hair usually tied back in a loose, utilitarian ponytail, and piercing blue eyes that peer out from behind square-rimmed glasses with unnerving focus.

Her everyday clothing reflects her priorities: comfort and function over presentation. Hoodies, jeans, sneakers. Nothing decorative, nothing impractical. At her own insistence, her costume is little more than a streamlined version of this wardrobe, subtly adapted to fit the League’s visual aesthetic while obscuring her identity just enough to not be obvious.

Superpower: Annika possesses a perfect, total memory. Every sight, sound, conversation, document, and data point she encounters is stored with absolute clarity. She can rapidly parse, filter, and cross-reference this information, making her an unparalleled intelligence asset.
However, retention does not equal comprehension. Understanding, contextual judgment, and emotional interpretation still require conscious effort, and sometimes, fail entirely.

Equipment: Annika isn’t completely helpless; always making sure she carries a taser just in case and several support tools such as a datapad for easier data parsing and some experimental binoculars/scanner that the league had been ecstatic about and insisted Annika uses during missions. Which, she’s not going to lie, have been tremendously helpful to keep a proper overview of the battlefield. Since her powers lack any offensive measures, she’s taken to building assistant tech support; combat drones, scouting units, traps ranging from explosive to simple electric charges and remote hacking devices to mess with enemy comms and information.

I/O drone: Two flying combat drones, one equipped with a simple ESD discharge and sound wave for disorientation, the other with a charged laser and a grappling arm to fling surrounding debris and objects. She’s affectionately named them Ike and Omar (God knows why).

Trap charges: Various charges ranging from explosive, electric and smoke bombs with PIR sensors. Not necessarily just for placement, she can even use these like hand grenades by pulling a trigger and tossing them.

Scramblers: Simple comms blockers that scramble audio and visual aids. Even other minimal wireless signals.

Personality: Annika is emotionally detached, blunt, and highly literal. Not by choice, but by nature. From birth, her eidetic memory shaped the way her mind developed, prioritizing retention, structure, and factual clarity over emotional nuance. In any formal psychological evaluation, she would be diagnosed as autistic without hesitation.

She does not instinctively process social cues, emotional subtext, or interpersonal ambiguity. Feelings - both her own and those of others - exist, but arrive muted, delayed, or stripped of the intuitive meaning most people rely on. This often causes her to appear cold or robotic, particularly to those who expect emotional feedback or reassurance.

Annika does not “put up walls,” nor does she consciously shield herself from others. There is no mask to drop. Objectivity and detachment are simply her default state of being. As a consequence of her perfect memory, emotional impressions never fade; slights, awkward moments, and painful interactions remain as vivid as the day they occurred, which makes forgiveness difficult and emotional closure rare.

Biography: Annika’s abilities were evident from birth, and with them came developmental challenges that followed her into adulthood. While her father’s super-intelligence allowed him to innovate and adapt, Annika’s eidetic memory reshaped her cognition at a more fundamental level. Her mind learned to catalog the world perfectly, but not always to interpret it.

This led to persistent difficulties throughout her schooling and professional life. Emotional bonds were rare, misunderstandings frequent, and expectations often mismatched. Outside of her parents - particularly her father - few people remained in her life long enough to bridge that gap.

Joining the League of Good was a pragmatic decision, not an emotional one. It provided structure, clear expectations, and a role in which her abilities were both understood and valued. While others may hope the League will help her “open up,” Annika herself views this as unrealistic. She is not broken, and she does not believe she needs fixing.

Appearance: Madison is an inoffensive yet unremarkable girl in her regular clothes. She's the kind of girl that you would think is cute if you managed to pick her out from the crowd in the first place. A naturally pretty face if a little mouse-like, with flat, limp blonde hair worn either down or in a low-effort ponytail. She likes to wear baggy clothes and hoodies that she can retreat into like a tortoise. She never actually does,but the option being there provides her comfort. She is also never without headphones (on her ears or around her neck) and a large handbag or satchel.

In costume, the transformation is truly night and day. Wireframe's lustrous golden hair is curled and styled. Her blue eyes glisten from behind her silver domino mask. Her posture is straight and assured. Her costume is made from a custom lightweight anti-ballistic fabric dyed blackand silver. It is segmented for free use of her powers, meaning her gloves are separate from the fabric on her forearms. Her shoulders and midriff are exposed, showing off her developed and toned arm and abdominal muscles. She stands with a confident posture with a self-assured pearly white smile ever on her face.

Superpower: Madison can selectively turn partsof her body (or even her entire body) into steel wire. The wire is 1cm thick and conducts electricity. It is, for all intents and purposes, steel wire. It contains no musculature or nervous system so Madison cannot feel anything from it or move it at will unless by 'retracting' it back into a body part. Any damage Madison receives to her flesh can be transferred to damage to a length of wire. The wire can be repaired by normal methods of filling or welding wire, which will then leave nothing but a surface scar when transferred back to flesh and blood.

Skills: Madison is skilled at hand to hand combat, situational and field tactics. She is licenced to drive most road vehicles to an advanced level. Most of her PR was done by a PR team including, when possible, script writing. Madison isn't always comfortable with improvisational public speaking, but she is still very good at it.

Equipment: Most of Madison's equipment was privately siezed with the company's collapse. She still possesses her uniform as well as wrist-mounted propulsion devices that let her own hands function as grappling hooks. She has also kept ownership of her custom motorbike that is capable of detaching at the middle and becoming two self-motorized unicycles.

Personality: Madison has spent so long being the archetypal brave, cheerful superhero that she seems nervous, unsure, skittish, hesitant and emotionally immature without that persona. She can often come across antisocial or moody when all that's happened is she's unsure how to respond to the current sitation and has withdrawn into herself. Whenever she does slip back into the larger than life 'Children's television Superhero' persona out of sheer familiarity, it will not take her long to get self-conscious and doubt herself.

Biography: Dylan Weaver was the textbook definition of a corrupt, evil businessman. He blurred the line between a millionsire with shady dealings, and a gang boss with a higher than average number of sucessful fronts. He always manaed to avoid the ire of the law through power, bribesand picking and choosing his battles carefully. The reason for this was he respected superheroes to the point of obsession. By the time he was rich enough to feasable become one himself, his closet was already full of too many skeletons. It was his wife, a failed actress-turned-model, who came up with the idea of living their mutual lost dreams through their infant daughter.

She was subjected to many experiments that resulted in her developing super-powers. She was home-schooled by many strict tutors, not just in academics but in acrobatics, parkour, martial arts, acting, public relations and beauty. She was not some kind of natural-born genuis but no expense was spared and the little girl was bute-forced through grit and effort into becoming peerlessly talented.

Her Hero career began when she was twelve. A bright-eyed blonde girl fighting crime and saving citizens was like something out of children's cartoon come to life. Madison loved playing the Hero.She loved giving interviews. After so long of strict teachers giving minimal feedback, there were now crowds of girls her own age screaming her name. Thank to the nature of her power, no matter how hurt she got in climactic fights wih evildoers, she popped back up the next day with no injuries. Any moral misgivings fell by the wayside as Wireframe felt less and less human as the years went on. She grew more skilled, more exerienced, more confident, more polished. She embodied the character from morning to night so much so that if there was a 'real Madison' in there somewhere, it was buried so deep it never came out. Her persona became her whole life and whole world.

Last year, her parents misdeeds finally left a single loose thread, and they were finally both arrested. It was Madison's wish to keep the familial relation secret, but no companies mean no money means no Wireframe. How could her own father have been one of the bad guys?! Madison spiralled. She wouldn't wash. She barely ate. Everything felt pointless now. One of the staff members who'd worked her PR eventually stepped in and reached out, expressing concern over Madison's mentalstate and suggesting applying to Lafayette City's League of Good. It would require relocating but it would give her another chance to be a Hero.

((I drew these kinda quick and rough this afternoon but I wanted to have a visual reference rather than just trying to explain my specific idea lolol!))

Born to Roger and Laverne Barrows one January, Alaine was the couple's first child and quickly followed by five more in the next eight years. Roger was a pastor and worked in several different states throughout her childhood, so she and her siblings were homeschooled to help with frequent moves. Originally returning to the state she was born in, Alabama, when she was sixteen, Alaine and her family lived humble but happy lives. When she was nineteen she briefly attended college before quickly realizing it wasn't for her; wanting instead to work with animals, horses specifically, she decided to move out west and try to find work on a ranch.

Instead, during her first week in Montana, she was hit by a falling star.



Alaine still doesn't fully understand what happened. One minute she was out in the hills, watching the stars -- the next there was a dazzling light tumbling out of the sky and headed straight for her. When she woke up she didn't know how much time had passed. Her phone was fried so she had no way of contacting anyone as she hauled herself out of the small crater she found herself in. Unfamiliar energy crackled through her veins, pulsing in her nerve endings and buzzing in her head.

When she made it back to the town she was staying in she didn't know what was happening to her. Her body didn't feel like her own, she was disoriented. It was early in the morning, the sun just barely rising, and the first person she ran into was a kind old gentleman who noticed was something was wrong and stopped to try and help her.

She killed him.

It wasn't intentional. She'd been trying to explain when he touched her arm; the feeling was foreign, a jolt that caused a surge of unfamiliar energy through her body. Alaine saw stars -- literally. Behind her eyes she caught a glimpse of the cosmos, incomprehensible dark matter and glittering star-worlds. It only lasted a second and when she blinked, the old man was falling back on the pavement, a smoldering gash in her chest as dark light flickered around her hands.

Horrified and terrified, she tried to help the innocent man but it was too late. She knew she shouldn't have but she ran anyway, shaken as she struggled to comprehend what had happened to her, how her feet kept missing steps and instead of falling she floated.

She managed to catch a ride to the nearest city from a stranger who she was careful to keep her hands off of, and when they left her she took to the task of surviving. Overcome with guilt and horror alaine did her best to scrape by for a few weeks; many times she considered going to the authorities or to a hospital, but she was scared she'd kill someone else. So instead she dedicated herself to controlling the new, strange energy coursing through her veins and slowly but surely she began to learn. Only when she felt sure she wouldn't accidentally murder the next person she touched did Alaine venture back among the public to purchase a phone with what little money she still had available; she needed to make contact with her family, which was the first step to finding some sort of normalcy in her new reality.

But, like the star that had fallen right into her, her newfound abilities couldn't be ignored. And, like all things, they needed practice in order to be controlled.

Alaine isn't proud of that period of her life -- it was a two-and-a-half-year stretch of shady work, struggling with powers she wasn't sure anyone should have, stumbling along the line of wrong and right that made up vigilantism. It came from the right place, the want to do good with whatever had happened to her... but it was tainted with the knowledge that she'd killed someone, that she could kill. Throwing herself into situations where she was being threatened or protecting someone else who was in danger meant emotions were high and decisions couldn't be reversed.

The old man wasn't the only person she killed during that period. They weren't all intentional... but there were a few she didn't try to keep herself from hurting.

She was spiraling deeper and deeper into the mess of vigilantism and the web of lies she was spinning all around herself, between the diner where she'd gotten work during the day and her family back home who still didn't know what had happened to her out in the hills. Little by little she was losing herself and venturing into dangerous territory, which she recognized -- as a last-ditch effort, she packed up her bags and left town, traveling to a place called Lafayette City.

Denying herself vigilante work and any use of her powers seemed to be detrimental to her health however, slowly but surely driving her insane with the buildup of cosmic energy that had no outlet. She would've inevitably imploded if not for John.

She didn't know his last name, but he was an older man who'd been keeping track of the strange goings-on in the city she left. He'd pieced together that a new, superpowered individual had emerged and tracked her down, hoping to help; he seemed more knowledgeable about heroes than he should've been, for someone seemingly without powers himself, but he was able to help her get a new, normal job while simultaneously helping her learn more about her abilities and ways she could use them for the good of society.

Because she was still struggling internally with the guilt of what she'd done, intentionally or not, Alaine latched onto John's help and encouragement, eventually getting herself to the level of a functioning hero. John helped her pick out a name and even managed to procure her a customized suit from somewhere, and that was when he told her he'd gotten her an interview with the League of Good. He promised her they didn't have to know about the past two and a half years and said he'd keep her secrets as long as she needed him to, if she would in turn promise to use her cosmic-granted powers for good for as long as she was able.

It was a promise alaine was happy, relieved even, to make.

Name: Daniel Wallaby

Alias: Speed Demon

Age: 24

Appearance: Daniel is a 5' 10" guy with a lean build. He exudes the aura of a cool, pretty boy with a mean streak, masked by an air of sophistication brought on by a pair of slim glasses. He typically wears long sleeved shirts along with ripped jeans, both of which are dark in color. His hero suit consists of a skintight suit that's colored yellow that fades into black at the limbs, has a red visor that covers his eyes, and black ear-like appendages at the sides of his head that point backwards.

Superpower: Super Speed. It's the standard fare: the ability to move and react really, really fast, from accelerating from 0 to 100 extremely quickly to performing feats like running on water and up walls. What's not so standard is his source of power: a strange entity residing in his body whom Daniel has referred to as the Speed Demon. In addition to speed, it also generates an aura around Daniel and anything he consciously chooses to extend it to that allows him to ignore certain laws of physics that would be detrimental, such as whiplash and air friction injuries.
Despite the Speed Demon granting him energy, he still gets hungry and tired via an enhanced metabolism, requiring him to eat more than normal people. He's also gotta be careful about what surfaces he's on, as a single slip at super speed could result in serious injury. He also needs to take care regarding how fast he's going, since he can move at speeds faster than his mind can process.

Skills:
Parkour: He's learned to make use of any shortcuts he can find, for every second is valuable.
Physical Labor: Whether a hard day's work or simple household chores, they're a breeze, especially with his ability.

Equipment:
Gauntlets with small compartments, typically containing a high-calorie snack bar each to replenish his energy.

Personality: Despite his intimidating looks, he's actually quite the gentle helpful soul. He won't hesitate to drop what he's doing to help someone in need, whether that be helping an old lady cross the street or lending a shoulder to cry on. He's also a bit of an unintentional flirt, his looks and choice of words often resulting in romantic tensions emerging. He takes his duties to his work and his family seriously, between making enough of a living to get by and making sure his family is well looked after.

Biography: Daniel was born into a typical nuclear family. He did reasonably well in school, performed great at track, and had a small circle of friends he always hung out with. Then, tragedy struck when his family got caught in a car accident during a vacation. His mother and sister were relatively unharmed, but he suffered a serious leg injury and his father took the brunt of the force. Despite rushing to a hospital, his father's life could not be saved, and Daniel was left with a limp that took months to heal, though still left him with a slight limp.

Time passed, and Daniel eventually dropped out of school to help out his family. He did odd jobs to make money, and always made time to spend with his family. It was rough, but he bore the weight of the responsibility as best he could. One night, as Daniel was about to go to sleep, a will o' wisp appeared in front of him. A voice called out in his head, asking if he desired power. Power enough to rid the world of injustice, and bring the world to his knees. Power to do anything he wanted. In his sleepy stupor, Daniel reached out to it and only responded that the only thing he wanted was to make his family proud and happy, and they deserved all of it.

When he awoke, he found himself famished, and his body uncontrollably and impossibly fast. Daniel soon realized that the entity that appeared was not a dream. The entity referred to itself as a demon whose soul took refuge inside his body, recuperating until it was strong enough to regenerate its body. Until then, it would grant Daniel power for as long as his resolve for his wish held strong. Daniel spent time learning his to use this newfound power, crashing into walls more than a few times, but he eventually got the hang of it, and would use this power to add a little more hope to the world.

Besides their specialized suits, they also wear normal clothing. Usually jeans and a t-shirt with sneakers or basically anything to blend in with their current environments when not actively pursuing bad guys.

Superpower:
For Alien Angel, her power, as she calls it, is the "Meta Hack". One way to describe it is "technomancy" or "technology manipulation" (similar to "Sombra" from Overwatch series). She can basically use her powers to hack any technology near her to her whims, sometimes even upgrade, or even create "virtual windows" and a "virtual keyboard" for personal use out of thin air. In a sense, she's almost like a living, walking PC with a personal internet connection. It can even bypass most, if not all, forms of security measures if she uses her powers raw and not through an actual PC though doing so through this method will set off all sorts of alarms and other security systems if not used through a "Meta Hacked" PC. How it exactly works though is unknown.

For Alpha Coyote, he calls his power by the simple term "Ki Control". Similar to fictional sources like cartoons and anime, he can literally use his own bodies energy as a weapon to power up to "super soldier" like levels. It's unknown what "Ki" based powers he actually has but outside of it's general "power up" it's been reported that he uses it as a healing factor both on himself and anyone he touches via skin contact to increasing his bodies durability to block a bullet but is mere "rumors" based on duo's activities.

Skills:
Alien Angel is the brains since she knows her way around technology in general but she isn't the "best" at it since her "Meta Hack" is what allows her to compete with those that are pure-skilled hackers. She's no dummy and can operate and hack even without her powers but at the same time, isn't the "best" when compared to others.

Alpha Coyote is the brawn but not your typical dumb muscle. Reports say he's a skilled fighter. Military trained with a Close Quarters Combat or C.Q.C. fighting style or so rumors say.

Outside of the above skills, anything else is unknown.

Equipment:
Information varies here but their "sneak suits" are their trademark. For one, it utilizes cloaking tech to literally make them invisible as well as avoid certain detection methods such as thermal heat vision, night vision and such but it's said you could spot "shimmers" of them when they move. Outside of this, they've been known to use non-lethal weaponry of various kinds to even drones.

Personality:
For Alien Angel, "outspoken" could be one word to describe her. Not afraid to speak her mind in English and some Spanish even when it's considered rude.

Alpha Coyote is the opposite. "Stoic" could be another one word description. Mostly quiet unless spoken to. He even speaks like he's a robot or in a monotone-like voice.

However, as is shown in their known Biography, they both have trouble with "lab coats", doctors and those that "follow rules" as both stated. Read below for more details.

Biography:
Not much of the personal history is known of the two "Vigilante" that are called Alien Angel and Alpha Coyote. From where they were born or any relatives or family, it seems both are literal "ghosts" in today's society.

But there are known things. For one: both are victims of experimentation and "escapee's" from said experimentation. And two: a well-known mad scientist that goes by the name "Cauldron" was the one that reportedly granted the duo with their powers. Not just them but even across the globe it's said Cauldron is one of an unknown number of individuals performing highly illegal experimentation. If not directly, Cauldron has a "presence" among such individuals.

It's said that the duo had been hunting the mad scientist down as "Vigilantes" or any criminal activities they happen to come upon. It's unknown how long the two have been doing this exactly but the earliest police reports that have possible connections to them state it might have been three years ago but due to their "stealth" behavior, it's never been proven.

And for the duo, one lead they got on Cauldron has led them to Lafayette City...

Relationships: None but it's been reported that they have "supporters" of some kind.

Extra: There have been stories that Cauldron himself bred the duo and others straight out of a hidden lab. Meaning Cauldron COULD be the duo's father or creator. Hence why they don't wish to discuss such a past. It's also possible that perhaps the duo has affected "others" or "crossed paths" briefly with certain individuals due to their vigilante work...
