The title says it all.
I'm looking for a group of maybe four or more people. But three will suffice. I'm not picky.
I don't care how much you post, as long as you give me something good to work with. Quality over quantity, I always say.
If you can only write one line of text, so be it. I'm not going to judge you. I do ask that you use proper spelling and grammar however. No text speech or shorthand. If I have to hire an English professor just to understand your post, I will hunt you down and place a rabid ferret in your pants.
There will be some rules to follow, but they're just the typical RP guild rules. Be polite to others. Don't godmode or power-play. And if you're gonna do the awkward bump, take it to the PMs.
This RP takes inspiration from various sources, predominantly of the Dark Fantasy genre. These include:
-Dark Souls
-Vermis
-Berserk
-Darkest Dungeon
-The Witcher
-Lunacid
-King's Field
-80s Fantasy Movies (Think Excalibur, Legend, Hawk the Slayer, etc.)
-Gothic Horror
-A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones)
-The Green Knight
This RP may explore some heavy thematic content, which some players could find upsetting. You've been warned.
So, if you're interested, here's the story:
Crypt of the Nameless King

"It is said in the ages before, a king ruled over these lands.
A man without equal in brain or brawn.
But, he was a cruel king.
His foul deeds led to his name being forever stricken from the Annals of Lore.
Upon his death, the Nameless King was buried with all his treasures, deep in a crypt below the ruins of his ancient castle.
Many have gone in search of the crypt, seeking fame, riches, glory, the deepest desires of their heart.
Alas, none have returned.
So what sayest thou, traveler?
Dost thou seek the crypt?
Are you brave enough to venture beyond the safety of these walls, into a land ripe with peril?
If so, then you may find reward.
But beware.
For the path is treacherous, and death waits behind every corner.
Tis not wise to travel alone.
Find strong allies to aid you in your quest.
