I just memorize the location of keys and use only my index fingers (and left thumb for space).

Pretty much the same, Smiral. I type with about 4 fingers most generally.

Took it in German (Which I have no knowledge of) for lols and got 57. Also people shouldn't be intimidated by Seba and I's WPMs. I've had speed-typing training and would suspect Seba has as well.


You had speed training? You only scored a 79. I had zero speed training. I scored a 92, and some how only ranked at 96.51 percent. Interesting. I'm going to do it again, but I'll stick with this score.

I've slowed down a hell of a lot...Used to be in the 80's range, I think, back when I was in highschool. All because of Chat RP. Now? Speed doesn't matter, so I am slow....slow like dump truck.

To be fair my job involves pumping out letters and the like and I am using a keyboard I have had for 3 years. Muscles memory plays a huge role in that speed. Of course for jobs it is more about accuracy and anything over 60 or 70 when being accurate makes the cut generally.

My friends always told me I type fast but I never really thought much of it. First time taking a typing test like this; surprised I actually do rank kind of high.

IRC? No. Yahoo Chat. Never really liked IRC. Started around 96/97. Where/Why? Randomly just started.
