No Noble Arms, — Takumi smiled, unsummoning Vox Vulgaris with an effort of will.

Taking note where the three boxing him in were, he then did a weird hopping half-step backwards, swinging his arms erratically, and vanished from view as people's eyes slid off him, not being able to find purchase on his form visually.

He's suddenly out of the "box" twenty, then thirty feet to the side, flitting around like a coked up colibri — always just a tiny bit out of reach, drawing people away from teammates.

@Eklispe It's a similar thing to how Gloria keeps the gainz from Ship of Theseus even while powered down. A subset of Perception Intrusion showed him the principles required to attack the visual cortex, but after memorizing them by rote, he doesn't need the Arm piloting his actions anymore to do it.

● Trackless Step: This technique combines breathing patterns, erratic walking, body posture and specific motions to make the human mind dismiss most of what it sees of Takumi as extraneous information, making it seem to the victim that he teleports or moves lightning-fast, although nothing of the sort actually takes place. This is a technique Takumi developed based on the principles Breakdown showed him, but it is not predicated on him actually using the Arm; it can be taught, if with difficulty.

@Eklispe I specifically wrote out only how it looks for an onlooker who doesn't know how that works. Takumi tends to guide people to believe he has some sort of teleportation or super-speed. His panoply is lacking in direct attack options, so he's compensating by being a walking mindfuck.

That is, it wasn't intended to make sense (at least unless you devote yourself to learning about his powerset more, or do something else about it.)

@TheHangedMan If Gloria's intention is unclear, let me clarify it: she's using Takumi as a kiting bait attracting everyone's attention to himself to barrel into them/sweep their legs from under them while they're distracted and quickly run to the next target. The idea is that Gloria being much heavier(and durable) than most of the people on the quadrangle could topple most everyone, sowing confusion and forcing them to spend time getting back up, reorienting themselves and generally slowing them down by knocking the air out of them, so they will be less effective as pursuers after that.
