You know you have an RP problem when you allocate free time for roleplaying instead of roleplaying in your free time.

You see a movie and instantly start to re-imagine scenes to better construct plot devices.

You know you have an RP problem when school break comes up and you join millions of RPs, knowing that posting for all would be painful when school came back around #'sunaprobs

How about going as far as making an OC lineage in your head from characters across multiple roleplays you've been in?

You know you have an RP problem when you play video games on your computer in windowed mode just so that you can pause every now and then and click over to your browser to see if any of your subscribed threads have updated.

You know you have an RP problem when you type 'wiki' in your search bar to go to Wikipedia for something, but your browser suggests the wiki for one of your RP fandoms instead.

Heh, already done 90% of the posted list. Oh well.

You know you have an RP problem when you got increasingly agitated if you haven't post any RP reply for the day.

Oh god, I've done almost all of these.

You know you have an RP problem when -
You've tried to quit more than once and keep coming back.
You may or may not be looking to rework some of your RP's into published book formats.
You argue with your characters in your head, or even aloud.
You've been unable to post/write something about a character until you've written exactly what they wish for you to. (Living character model)

You know what I mean by living character model.

When you post in a random thread and it turns into an intervention.

When what you learn, solely through RPing, is enough to get your college degree.

Wolfling said When your roleplay is dropped and you feel like you have to explain to your character why you can't write him anymore.

Heh... sometimes the RP-characters are like that girl in Vertigo.

You know you have an RP problem when you do hours of research to write your character's backstory, just because you as the writer have no knowledge of the subject your character is supposed to be familiar with / good at. It is a worse problem when as time goes by, you start loving the subject because of your character.

Not saying I've done that, but...

I've had more of Kidd's problem, when a player drops with a pivotal character, plots the statblock on my desk with some rough notes on what was planned, and tells me to have fun...
-3 months later and I have no fucking clue who's character I'm RPing.

You know you have an RP problem when people start to create there own plot and use it as a way to advance the story without actually telling the GM.

You know you have an RP problem when a player runs off somewhere and then nothing happens as they grow bored hoping someone would chase them.

You know you have an RP problem when the cops can be played by players, my very first RP fell apart because of that and the fact the GM was hardly around.

You know you have an RP problem when one writes I swing at you and kill you instantly without saying how they did it or what they were thinking when they did it. Also the fact they don't give the other a chance to defend themselves, I am on about NPC's being killed and such though it happens with players as well. It is just I am god..... You die now.

You know you have an RP problem when someone with really bad grammar and spelling leaves you in the dust. :/ That is my main peeve since I started here in 2010, my spelling and grammar could be much better but I know better then those who dropped me. Oh that and the you start the RP thing happens, you do and then nothing from your partner. :/ It is even worse when it is there idea.

You know you have an RP problem when your boyfriend comes over, and the two of you spend your time discussing plot lines.
