Idea for the last planet in the system.

Ptolomea: Ptolomea is a barren rocky desert planet close to the systems sun, effectively a arid sinkhole world. It has the longest rotation period of any planet in the system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets. It has no natural satellites. The ground is covered in extensive volcanism, and the sulfur in the atmosphere is due to the planets volcanoes and their periodic eruptions. It is these constant eruptions that has allowed the mineral rich deposits to be shifted further to the planets surface making iron easy to mine. Surface water makes up only 0.9% of the planet. Sinkholes on Ptolomea are a common geological feature that appear in areas where the rock below the surface of the land is made from substances like salt beds, limestone, carbonate rock that can be dissolved by ground water flowing through them. This rock can also be weakened by acidic rain. Many of the most massive mining facilities are in fact built into these sinkholes and reinforced with steel and intertwining arch bridges. This has proven necessary due to the powerful flay storms that run across the planets surface. The winds here are so strong they throw small stones into the air and this combined with the winds can flay skin from bones and even tear apart thin metal.

OK team, the IC intro is up! Please note that everything that occurs there takes place one month before the start of the RP.

If you are imperial forces, you will begin the RP on or arriving on Pontius Secundus either as part of von Ravenstein's forces, part of Inquisitor Nox's reinforcements that just braved the Warp Storm, or as evacuees from Dis.

If you are Chaos, you are mopping up the final vestiges of resistance on Dis and preparing for the invasion of Pontius Secundus.

@Fallen Muse and I will develop sectors of Pontius and maybe a map which will be posted in the second post below the OP in this thread, so you can get of sense of the planet you will be invading/defending and decide what you want to do. Ideas and suggestions on that score are welcome.

ALSO- to everyone who would like to join or is still working on their sheets, we are still WIDE OPEN for business. Take your time.

Just to be clear, folks, you can post what your characters are doing "now" (imperials- arriving at/preparing for defense of pontius, chaos- subduing Dis, preparing for invasion of pontius) or what they've done in the lead up to the invasion. Just make it clear in your post whether its present day or a flashback.

Also if we do go with the meeting we should probably decide if it will be a collab or not.

Also, might want to rethink the description 'a terran planet' for Pontius Secundus. As that makes no sense at all. That's like saying Mars planet. Unless you mean it's earth-like?
