I've been trying to update everything in the main OOC post to reflect the story as it currently stands, but I've been a little behind due to my art program critically crashing and reasons. If you have any questions, I'll answer them as long as they aren't suppose to be mysteries.

A true infernal contract doesn't need a signature...But yea, just post your character sheet ooc, unless you're going for a specialty roll. That you can PM me instead. And the questionnaire is always PMed

When does the carnage begin?
The carnage has already started, as the tower has taken in it's first soul. And that was the prelude chapter.

How severe does the affliction have to be, anyhow?
Serious enough that the character needed medical care, be it for something like an injury, or something else like a birth complication or plastic surgery. Your character doesn't still need to be under the effect of the affliction however.

Infinite Herbalist

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲:

Marianne has dark skin and heavy-lashed large, dulled-teal eyes that slant more towards blue than green. She has a graceful posture and her movements are all mostly careful, fluid and sweeping. She is about 5'5" with long, thick dark hair down to just below her hips. Sometimes there are stray blades of grass caught in the tips of her hair, and occasionally even small leaves. It's almost impossible for her to brush all the tangles out, though her hair is maintained adequately well. She wears sundresses more often than not, though the one constant despite the attire she chooses is a little necklace of black cord around her neck with 'pendants' consisting of two little lipgloss tubes filled with green pastes, one slightly darker then the other. It can immediately be seen that she enjoys the outdoors and being in the sun from the light tan, even on her dark skin. A little bit of chubbiness gathers on her thighs, hips, chest and upper arms that she's conscious about.
She can be seen smiling at everyone - and everything - and it is very, very rare for her dark eyebrows to knit together in anger or frustration. It seems her two most prominent emotions are contentment first, followed by curiosity. Melancholia falls in line as a much, much further behind third.

𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

She was admitted not too long ago for surgery on a freak ovarian cyst that nobody in her family realised was there until it became obvious to the point where she woke up one night feverish and screaming in pain. They let it sit for a day and with normal medicine not working as they had hoped, they rushed her to Axis Mundi for treatment. Thankfully, she was a couple of days into recovery and being up on her feet and walking again. This makes it so that she can move rather slowly at the moment, and even if her stitches are dissolvable, there's a risk of them opening up if she exerts herself with things such as running, jumping or climbing. It also explains why she cannot wear more than sundresses for the moment, and nothing quite too tight or body-hugging under the waist.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:

Marianne likes to think of herself as a makeshift Florence Nightingale, although nursing isn't her speciality and there's not much her reach encompasses beyond herbal remedies. That being said, she is fully confident in her work, believing that the right medicinal herb concoction can be a cure (albeit working in the long-term) for anything. She believes in it almost religiously, and this unfortunately clouds her mind and judgement when other matters that may need more immediate medical attention or artificially synthesised medicine are concerned. Adhering to her self-professed title, she possessed the quality of diligence as a nurse (as is required to maintain a herb garden) so is very careful to check things, and quick to find differences or faults from a previous scene.

Otherwise, she is gentle and kind, often seen smiling. She tends not to get flustered easily, but usually it's a case of her being a little slow to register the situation. She loves things of beauty and especially being outside, having a particular fondness for almost all kinds of flowers. This extends from flora to fauna, as she adores all animals, especially those in nature (that being said, in a lot of cases, the more frightened, timid or wilder ones don't particularly adore her back.)

Her speech is slow and methodical, and she seems to need to focus really hard on particularly complex problems. She isn't adverse to asking for help though, and may be naive in her beliefs (which she strongly preaches to everyone time and time again) that there's a little bit of good in everyone in the world, no matter who they are.

𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮:

- The other members of her family consist of her parents, her older sister and their two dogs (one for each daughter, or so their parents claimed.) Marianne has a mixed Border collie called Dahlia, whereas her sister has a mixed Saluki called Diana.
- A quick internet search of her would direct you to very simple information about her, such as student class list names on school websites. Not much more seems apparent about Marianne Roche.
- She is a bit of a romantic and has a soft spot for otome-games.
- She likes to participate in online forums discussing life, passions, ambitions and dreams. She prefers to express herself online through text than having to speak in person, a trait of which she is disappointed in herself.
- She drinks a lot of tea. Coffee makes her turn her nose up judgementally.
- She likes sweet things and flavourful cooking. As a picky eater, she sometimes refuses to eat or eats very little if the food is too bland. On the flip side, she can tend to overeat when it's to her liking.
- She speaks in a definite accent despite having fluent control over the English language. It can be traced to Moroccan-French.

I've read the posts! They're definitely detailed. I'm at the part where everyone is waking up in their rooms. ...it's been two hours and I'm only on page two. Angst! At least I know there are some gifts given out now, though!

Would it be possible to get a super-quick summary of what's gone on until now?
...as much as I really would like to go through five more pages (8 hour total if I'm lucky), I wanna jump in soon, and have some semblance of what's happening.
A bullet point summary would be darling, if anyone can...thank you!

  • Rika stayed back with Ice until he woke up, then proceeded to catapillar out.
  • Eventually everyone returned back to the break room to discuss whether they found an escape. Nope. Krista just punned.
  • Shona told everyone about Neo Alexander which I linked to instead because it's too long to sum up on my phone sorry
  • Monokuma tells everyone that he had something planned for that night because everyone was too hopeful.
  • Finally, Shona requested Calvin to make her a weapon for that night
• Calvin stays up that night to create a weapon in the crematorium, he is joined by Alexandria who shows him the rules of the night of carnage to him
• he gets fucked over and taken hostage after another robot arrives
• Monokuma makes an announcement for "heroes" to come save Calvin, which most of the infinites came for
• it was a trap
• Monokuma trapped everyone in some spikes, forced everyone to vote for a sacrifice if they wanted to save Calvin. Mondatta offered himself, people cried.
• Felix and Shona try to save the day but Felix gets impaled in his shoulder, and Shona gets impaled into the wall. Rip Shona
• turns out Monokuma wanted to create a scenario to get Shona killed, but couldn't do so until she interfered with Monokuma's plans, as according to the temp rule Monokuma had made during the earlier announcement
• the inactive players are then shuffled out of the game, and the new characters join
• cyrus goes to rage mode and breaks his glasses before leaving

It is now the next day, and chapter 1, in the morning so you're free to enter from the elevator and join people in the break room

That's a pretty thorough list of what the characters did more or less. Only things I'll add are:

SENPAI!

-Pretty much all of the carnage sisters got a lady boner from Calvin, and one of them even slipped their own E-handbook into calvin's room so that he could perhapse visit her. he has yet to tell anyone about this.

-Davis told Mondatta why he believes he's responsible for everyone being here, but has yet to tell everyone else exactly why. However, he recently stated he had something to do with it to everyone.

-There was a document found in the "Neurology" room that was written in Japanese, and was accompanied by two pictures of a woman in school/collage clothes. The woman has yet to be identified.

-With the help of Cyrus's on-hand knowledge and some magazines in the study, it is evident that this "game" was made by someone who was or is a fan of ultimate despair. They didn't just borrow from Junko's killing game, but other vicious masterminds too. Like how the night of carnage is based off the happy hour rule in Neo Alexander's all american killing game.

-In addition to most of the rules dropping during night of carnage (including the one that says they can't harm you as long as you obey the rules) One of the carnage sisters can choose to go hunting for infinites with an improved “carnage chassis.”
