@deadpixel101 You don't have to worry too much, this is operating off the rules of "genetics are god." We currently have CSes for psychometry, gravikinesis, and cruokinesis. As long as it isn't TOO off base, you're good.

He has broad shoulders and slender fingers, with his legs seeming to take a noticeably larger space then his torso. His eyes are almond shaped with heavy lids, and bags etched underneath. They are a warm brown color, with long lashes. His nose is narrow and just a little longer then he'd like. His brows are well kept looking, although that is due to good genes, and not effort. His cheek bones are defined while his ears are small and out of the way. His hair is black and wavy coming down in a mess to near his earlobes. His lips are thin and seemingly always down turned ever so slightly at the ends.

Nihilistic, sarcastic, sassy, pacifistic, indecisive, obsequious.
Biographical Information:
Andre lived a somewhat secluded life. He had a part time job working at his mothers greenhouse, and he went to school. He was content with his life, and enjoyed his family, and his few close friends. He took to solitary hobbies like video-games, drawing and writing. He was also a big movie fan, and would go to the theater often. There is not much to say about his life near the point of the incident leading him to this facility. Of course there is a darker chapter in his younger years. At the age of 12 he was a much more sociable and outgoing child. He had one very good friend who he had grown up beside in his old neighborhood. These two would play make-believe games of superheroes, secret agents and hard-boiled detectives. Often this would mean one would have to find the other, or seek something such as a "clue" they hid. As they got better at this, they got more daring as well. Hiding themselves or these objects in increasingly higher risk places. One such place was a construction site.
Sneaking under the rusted fence, the two were playing on what was going to be a long arch bridge. Hiding a clue on a tree hanging over the rushing stream, he sent her to go looking for it. Pretty quickly it was found, climbed towards and taken. Then a gust of wind hit, and she slipped. Taking a nasty tumble down past a barricade, she was caught in the water fast. It took Andre a moment too many to get over his fear and jump in after her. She didn't make it, and in fact, he was lucky to be found before he had hit the falls as well. The current had knocked his head against the bottom of the stream, and he got caught on a rock. Since then he became more of a shut in, and less of a people person.

Able to generate a three-dimensional copy of his own body made seemingly of "shadow". It can appear as it's own separate entity up to a certain area around Andre, though the farther it goes the more mental strain it puts on him. Because of this he usually doesn't have it "summoned". It is apparent that it can be manifested and dispersed with his will. Andre is also able to generate parts of this "puppet" instead of the entity as a whole. As this being has a stronger constitution and general higher strength, Andre often summons it's arms to aid him in things. As this being is not actually alive, it takes no risk in dangerous situations. Beyond the fact that it has a limited distance, it is usable for things such as exploration, working in harsh conditions/environments, and general dangerous bodily situation. It cannot speak in any way, and is susceptible to high-frequency noises. Summoning it takes up to 2 seconds as a whole body, though single limbs like arms, can appear nigh instantaneously. Dismissing it takes a similar span of time. What Andre sees the puppet sees, and vice versa. He can have only one whole puppet out at a time, but the "mass" of the total can be summoned in other forms. The common use being multiple arms. These beings are solid, and thus can be damaged or destroyed, though they look like condensed shapes of a blackish/purple haze. They cannot smell or seem to feel, though do have some slight personality. Their shape perfectly mimics Andre, clothes and all.

He has a bad past with swimming, and has thus garnered a level of fear for it. While he can deal with heights and tight spaces, large crowds cause him to panic. He tends to hyper-fixate on things, which will cause him to starve himself, and altogether neglect general self care. - Cory grew up in public housing, to a loving but drug addled family. Having no television or entertainment systems that other kids had, she spent most of her time roaming the streets and getting into trouble. 'Ronin' was a childhood nickname that her elder brother's friends gave her.
Her parents did the best they could for her, and she never went hungry, but she performed poorly in school and ultimately couldn't find a career for herself. Her parents could not continue to support her, so she went from shelter to shelter taking 'odd jobs' on her own.
◤ G E N E A B I L I T Y ◢
- Combustion. Whether it has to do with a spark or the concentration of oxygen, 'Ronin' doesn't know and doesn't care. Whenever her ability would manifest, she was just as likely to burn herself or set fire to a building than to do anything useful with it. Her power is at its strongest but with the least control when she's at all angry. Ideally, the fire she throws around follows her line of sight, but without any control it jumps from there to whatever nearest object it can feed upon.

- She's streetsmart, and is familiar with avoiding police detection, being on the lam, and making money using unscrupulous means. Her body is athletic and fast, but not necessarily strong.

Personality: One of the kindest and gentlest people out there. Like, seriously, kid let's mosquitoes drink his blood and doesn't kill them. Jared is an extremely passive and quiet person, and has never started up a conversation in his life. He takes a lot of crap from people and doesn't put up to much of a resistance, but be sure to keep in mind that he has little in terms of releasing this pent-up stress. He enjoys studying, spending time with his family, playing video games, and raising his ant farm. Jared is complacent with anything, however, as long as he has something to take up his time; a board game, a book, or a stove and a couple ingredients. Honestly, he's kind of bland, which is probably why most people besides his parents never took interest in him. Remains calm under nearly any scenario, and only ever freaks out when something he cares about is missing, or he has never experienced it before. (Ex: In a gunfight? Jared is calm, despite only having a gun pointed at him a few times in his entire life. Wake up in a strange laboratory? Oh no, how will I get home, my parents must be so worried, oh god, how'd you even get here in the first place, stupid...).

Jared developed very quickly as a child, learning how to read at the age of 3, and performing basic geometry at 7. Jared was raised in a "Plastic bubble", as his parents rarely let him leave the house, preferring to keep him somewhere safe. The only real "Danger" Jared was ever exposed to as a child were when his father began to train him in the use of firearms, disguising it to his mother as "Firearm safety lessons". Considering the numerous weapons that littered the household, it was honestly for the best that Jared was trained in firearm discipline at a young age. Jared entered Kindergarten at the age of 5, and was quickly alienated. None of the kids knew him, he entered in the middle of the year, and he was extremely pale for his age. Despite being a social pariah, however, Jared consistently outperformed his peers, rapidly ascending through grade levels. Jared began cooking for his parents at the age of 9, hoping that it would help lessen their workload. His parents later on tried entering Jared into cooking competitions, but every time Jared vehemently refused.
Jared went his entire academic career being bullied. Maybe it was his stutter? How he was always shifty-eyed. How he never spoke unless spoken to. Or maybe he just entered kindergarten at the wrong time, and was screwed over by chance. Whatever it was, the abuse started light. Taking his shoes. Name calling. Locking him in the bathroom. But slowly, almost at a snails crawl, it escalated. Swirlies, knocking lunch out of his hands, and stolen bikes were common. But as the abuse escalated, so did Jared's progression. He grew smarter faster than he did as a child, and managed to graduate high school at 16. He was offered a full-ride at John Hopkins, and for the next two years, he experienced almost no abuse whatsoever. He didn't have any friends, but keeping his lunch money was a godsend in a collage environment. His parents were supportive in his college career, sending him money regularly for basic necessities. After the two years passed, however, his three largest aggressors joined the ranks of John Hopkins (This confused Jared until he realized that they had bought their way in). With his biggest bullies joining the university, Jared's stress was through the roof. He barely managed to keep it together for the next three years, but, at the age of 21, he graduated with a Doctorate in Biochemistry. Three hours after the ceremony, he was coughing blood, with his shredded diploma strewn across his limp body.
It didn't matter that he could just ask for a new diploma. That he was finally free of the constant abuse. What mattered was that they had assaulted Jared for years, and never even gave him a reason for the abuse. Jared returned home, celebrated with his parents, grabbed his M1911 while they slept, and went to a summer party that he knew the three would be at. Crashing the party, Jared shot the three, dead. Jared was arrested 30 minutes later, and put up no resistance. He pled guilty, and was sent to the Maryland penitentiary to live out a life-sentence, no bail.
Life in the penitentiary was actually very comforting. Sure, no video games or junk food, but you don't have to work for a meal, and the library was always open. Designated prisoner #1834, Jared was assigned to a cell with CJ Thompson, imprisoned for child pornography possession and distribution, 10 years. CJ quickly grew to be Jared's first friend, and the two confided in each other their motives and secrets. Near the end of his stay in the prison, Jared was actually wondering if he was in love with CJ, but this was most likely him mixing up platonic and romantic love. The two were practically inseparable and the other prisoners were actually surprisingly nice to a convicted murderer. Two years into his imprisonment, Jared confided something in CJ that he had never told anyone before.
"I'm just tired. I-I know I'm young, a-and not supposed to be. B-but I'm tired of people, of life. I-I have had a better time in prison than anywhere else in my life... And that just makes me feel l-like my life was a waste. It gets harder and h-harder for me to sleep every night. I can't get the thought that things could have been so much different out of my head... I just don't know what to do."
"Listen, man, life is the biggest struggle out there... We do so much, but in the end, we don't manage to do anything right... But you can't let the What-if's, should-have's, and if-only's hold you down. We're here now, and that was because we were the ones who made the decisions that put us here. I made a lot of mistakes in my life, and I don't got a lot to show for it. You were a doctor at 21! But I don't have a single regret. When I get out of here, I'll live enough for the both of us, man."
Jared fell asleep to CJ's words, letting unconsciousness take over his mind. The next time he woke up, he was gasping for air.
Jared had no clew where he was. He was blindfolded at all times, and either kept in a sensory deprivation chamber, or occasionally allowed to remove his blindfold in a white, featureless room. Not a single person talked to him the entire time, and he was moved around via doping his food with sleeping pills. Jared spent a majority of his time in the chamber, and he was unable to tell the difference in time. Sometimes he experienced hours as if they were seconds, and other times the minutes crawled by so slowly they felt like years. Every now and then (Hourly), the water in the chamber rose to the point where there was no air left, and Jared was forced to hold his breath for minutes on end until the water returned to normal. When Jared felt like he couldn't handle it anymore, he decided to try and choke himself in the white room, using his blindfold. To his surprise, no one attempted to stop him. Halfway through the attempt on his life, however, he looked down to see he was entirely see-through. Surprised at his new capabilities, he tested his newfound power for several minutes, until realizing no drugged food had come through the door slot in a suspiciously long amount of time (Or at least, long to him since his perception of time was screwed over).
(When the RP starts, Jared will discover the door is open, and will make a break for it, meeting up with the other characters. Sorry if the background seems kinda edgy, it's hard to find a motivator for murder unless it's edgy, or the character is crazy).
Ability: Befitting of a man who seeks to disappear, Jared possesses the power of Invisibility. When he is unobserved, Jared is able to turn invisible, and is undetectable by any sense except touch and smell (and taste, but that's kinda irrelevant when you can still touch him). This invisibility extends to electronics, and recording devices cannot pick him up while his power is activated. Thermal detection also does not work, as his power masks his body heat to appear to have the same thermal activity as the surrounding air. Additionally, his power covers anything he is wearing (like clothes) and holding (Must be able to carry in both hands comfortably). His silence also applies to these items.
However, the invisibility can only remain active as long as he holds his breath (Slightly longer than 2 minutes). If Jared starts to struggle for air (about the 1 minute, 45 second mark), he remains invisible, but people are now able to hear him. The scientists working on him unlocked this power through a combination of water boarding, isolation, and sensory deprivation. While he is unsure of the exact reasoning behind it, Jared believes that the scientists were attempting to replicate his power for militaristic purposes. Either way, the torture pushed him to his limit, but years of bullying has pushed him there more times than he could count, so he's not as mentally scarred from the torture as some of the other prisoners.
His power works through a combination of thermal stealth, light-warping, and lowering sound-wave frequencies to the point where they are undetectable.
Strengths: Considering academia was one of the few areas Jared excelled in, he is highly intelligent. Like, IQ of 150 intelligent. Jared is well-versed in most subjects, but excels the most in Biology and Chemistry. Jared is unsettlingly good at handling traumatic situations, and can remain calm under high-pressure scenarios. Jared has an INCREDIBLY large knowledge of weapons, and can handle most forms of firearms with ease. He is adept at the use of knives, but is most proficient with pistols. If his bullies knew about his collection back home, let's just say that the teasing would have stopped much sooner.
Skills: At a young age, Jared had dreamed of being a secret agent, and instead of playing with other kids, he pretended to sneak through forests to assassinate a high-profile target. He has retained this stealth that he had inadvertently trained by avoiding bullies, and even without his power, he can blend into crowds easily. As stated above, Jared has an amazing proficiency with fire arms, and has trained slightly in the use of knives. His father really should not have brought extra stock home... It is unlikely Jared will use these skills on actual people unless in self-defense. Finally, Jared had been cooking for his parents when they come home from a long day of work for years. As such, he is a very proficient chef, and can make something out of nearly any combination of ingredients.
Weaknesses: Not having any friends has left Jared with little in the social department (When he was 7, he went an entire year without speaking a single word, and no one noticed). This social deprivation has also left him highly trusting and naive towards anyone who shows him the slightest bit of affection. Years of physical and emotional abuse has left him with incredibly low self-esteem and a hard time communicating. When met with failure, Jared will belittle and insult himself, resulting in even poorer seal-esteem and making everyone around him feel awkward. This also could take up precious time in a situation where rushing is imperative to success.

Or maybe he just entered kindergarten at the wrong time, and was screwed over by chance. Whatever it was, the abuse started light. Taking his shoes. Name calling. Locking him in the bathroom. But slowly, almost at a snails crawl, it escalated. Swirlies, knocking lunch out of his hands, and stolen bikes were common. But as the abuse escalated, so did Jared's progression. He grew smarter faster than he did as a child, and managed to graduate high school at 16. He was offered a full-ride at John Hopkins, and for the next two years, he experienced almost no abuse whatsoever. He didn't have any friends, but keeping his lunch money was a godsend in a collage environment. His parents were supportive in his college career, sending him money regularly for basic necessities. After the two years passed, however, his three largest aggressors joined the ranks of John Hopkins (This confused Jared until he realized that they had bought their way in). With his biggest bullies joining the university, Jared's stress was through the roof. He barely managed to keep it together for the next three years, but, at the age of 21, he graduated with a Doctorate in Biochemistry. Three hours after the ceremony, he was coughing blood, with his shredded diploma strewn across his limp body.
It didn't matter that he could just ask for a new diploma. That he was finally free of the constant abuse. What mattered was that they had assaulted Jared for years, and never even gave him a reason for the abuse. Jared returned home, celebrated with his parents, grabbed his M1911 while they slept, and went to a summer party that he knew the three would be at. Crashing the party, Jared shot the three, dead. Jared was arrested 30 minutes later, and put up no resistance. He pled guilty, and was sent to the Maryland penitentiary to live out a life-sentence, no bail.
Life in the penitentiary was actually very comforting. Sure, no video games or junk food, but you don't have to work for a meal, and the library was always open. Designated prisoner #1834, Jared was assigned to a cell with CJ Thompson, imprisoned for child pornography possession and distribution, 10 years. CJ quickly grew to be Jared's first friend, and the two confided in each other their motives and secrets. Near the end of his stay in the prison, Jared was actually wondering if he was in love with CJ, but this was most likely him mixing up platonic and romantic love. The two were practically inseparable and the other prisoners were actually surprisingly nice to a convicted murderer. Two years into his imprisonment, Jared confided something in CJ that he had never told anyone before.
"I'm just tired. I-I know I'm young, a-and not supposed to be. B-but I'm tired of people, of life. I-I have had a better time in prison than anywhere else in my life... And that just makes me feel l-like my life was a waste. It gets harder and h-harder for me to sleep every night. I can't get the thought that things could have been so much different out of my head... I just don't know what to do."
"Listen, man, life is the biggest struggle out there... We do so much, but in the end, we don't manage to do anything right... But you can't let the What-if's, should-have's, and if-only's hold you down. We're here now, and that was because we were the ones who made the decisions that put us here. I made a lot of mistakes in my life, and I don't got a lot to show for it. You were a doctor at 21! But I don't have a single regret. When I get out of here, I'll live enough for the both of us, man."
Jared fell asleep to CJ's words, letting unconsciousness take over his mind. The next time he woke up, he was gasping for air.
Jared had no clew where he was. He was blindfolded at all times, and either kept in a sensory deprivation chamber, or occasionally allowed to remove his blindfold in a white, featureless room. Not a single person talked to him the entire time, and he was moved around via doping his food with sleeping pills. Jared spent a majority of his time in the chamber, and he was unable to tell the difference in time. Sometimes he experienced hours as if they were seconds, and other times the minutes crawled by so slowly they felt like years. Every now and then (Hourly), the water in the chamber rose to the point where there was no air left, and Jared was forced to hold his breath for minutes on end until the water returned to normal. When Jared felt like he couldn't handle it anymore, he decided to try and choke himself in the white room, using his blindfold. To his surprise, no one attempted to stop him. Halfway through the attempt on his life, however, he looked down to see he was entirely see-through. Surprised at his new capabilities, he tested his newfound power for several minutes, until realizing no drugged food had come through the door slot in a suspiciously long amount of time (Or at least, long to him since his perception of time was screwed over).
(When the RP starts, Jared will discover the door is open, and will make a break for it, meeting up with the other characters. Sorry if the background seems kinda edgy, it's hard to find a motivator for murder unless it's edgy, or the character is crazy).
Ability: Befitting of a man who seeks to disappear, Jared possesses the power of Invisibility. When he is unobserved, Jared is able to turn invisible, and is undetectable by any sense except touch and smell (and taste, but that's kinda irrelevant when you can still touch him). This invisibility extends to electronics, and recording devices cannot pick him up while his power is activated. Thermal detection also does not work, as his power masks his body heat to appear to have the same thermal activity as the surrounding air. Additionally, his power covers anything he is wearing (like clothes) and holding (Must be able to carry in both hands comfortably). His silence also applies to these items.
However, the invisibility can only remain active as long as he holds his breath (Slightly longer than 2 minutes). If Jared starts to struggle for air (about the 1 minute, 45 second mark), he remains invisible, but people are now able to hear him. The scientists working on him unlocked this power through a combination of water boarding, isolation, and sensory deprivation. While he is unsure of the exact reasoning behind it, Jared believes that the scientists were attempting to replicate his power for militaristic purposes. Either way, the torture pushed him to his limit, but years of bullying has pushed him there more times than he could count, so he's not as mentally scarred from the torture as some of the other prisoners.
His power works through a combination of thermal stealth, light-warping, and lowering sound-wave frequencies to the point where they are undetectable.
Strengths: Considering academia was one of the few areas Jared excelled in, he is highly intelligent. Like, IQ of 150 intelligent. Jared is well-versed in most subjects, but excels the most in Biology and Chemistry. Jared is unsettlingly good at handling traumatic situations, and can remain calm under high-pressure scenarios. Jared has an INCREDIBLY large knowledge of weapons, and can handle most forms of firearms with ease. He is adept at the use of knives, but is most proficient with pistols. If his bullies knew about his collection back home, let's just say that the teasing would have stopped much sooner.
Skills: At a young age, Jared had dreamed of being a secret agent, and instead of playing with other kids, he pretended to sneak through forests to assassinate a high-profile target. He has retained this stealth that he had inadvertently trained by avoiding bullies, and even without his power, he can blend into crowds easily. As stated above, Jared has an amazing proficiency with fire arms, and has trained slightly in the use of knives. His father really should not have brought extra stock home... It is unlikely Jared will use these skills on actual people unless in self-defense. Finally, Jared had been cooking for his parents when they come home from a long day of work for years. As such, he is a very proficient chef, and can make something out of nearly any combination of ingredients.
Weaknesses: Not having any friends has left Jared with little in the social department (When he was 7, he went an entire year without speaking a single word, and no one noticed). This social deprivation has also left him highly trusting and naive towards anyone who shows him the slightest bit of affection. Years of physical and emotional abuse has left him with incredibly low self-esteem and a hard time communicating. When met with failure, Jared will belittle and insult himself, resulting in even poorer seal-esteem and making everyone around him feel awkward. This also could take up precious time in a situation where rushing is imperative to success.

@Devol At least in my mind, Strengths is more on the line of things that the character is exceptional at, but not unique at, whereas skills is something they're unique at, but may or may not be exceptional at. For example, "good runner" might be a strength, whereas "can speak fluent Esperanto" is more of a skill. I might consider simplifying that.

He very much so takes after his mother, Adriana Guyana, a beautiful Brazilian woman, in his skin tone, complexion, and eye color. Personality: Red truly is a pretty decent guy. He's friendly, approachable, and would honestly give the shirt off of his back to someone who really needed it. That combined with an extremely long fuse, a common trait shared by many older brothers, makes it hard to get around the mask of aloofness he puts on to keep what he's feeling hidden. His weak frame, intelligence and occasionally better-than-thou attitude got him bullied, and he grew up into a submissive man. Worked for a while at a burger joint before becoming systems administrator at a local business. His mother died when he was 27 years old due to a previously unknown allergy to penicillin, his dad works at a store for fishing goods. In truth, this is the first real exciting thing that's happened in Joshua's life.
Ability:
- Unstoppable
Capable of absorbing any kinetic energy that comes into contact with his skin. Moving objects come to a dead stop, and punching him is like punching a sandbag. No matter how much force you put into it nothing happens. Even bullets don't seem to do much to him. All the kinetic energy absorbed by this ability is stored, and can then be released in bursts of force. This force can be manipulated to do all kinds of things, as long as it only affects things Joshua is touching. He can fly, punch like a truck to the face, push away air for a gust of wind, or shatter fragile objects with but a touch. Expelling too much energy in one go can cause physical damage to Joshua's body, and there's a limit to how much energy can be absorbed in one go.
Skills:
Knows relatively little of combat, although he's been practicing his punches since he came to the facility. Highly knowledgeable on comic book tropes, a variety of miscellaneous science facts, and physics. Good at explaining things, analysing situations, and seeing connections others might miss. Still a bit of a scaredy-cat, and isn't great at social interaction.

EDIT:
I've added a little bit to his powers, stating the puppets look like condensed purple/black gas. Their shape of them mimics Andre's body, with the clothes he's wearing as well. These were added to my application above.
