We both know how biting Hank goes. And it's rarely pretty, a fun story maybe but never pretty.

Also when it comes to the Covenant it's hard to say, he has issues with superiors, and likes doing things his way. He would more then likely be willing to work with them.

Personality:
This world is a boring place, filled with boring little people. Vampires, humans, they're all just pawns in the game of life. Johnathan isn't content just being a cog in the machine, he want to run the place. He'll kill, cheat, lie and steal just to prove that he can, and he'll do it all over again just to prove it's easy to him. Everything in life is a game, nothing to be taken all too seriously, but it's a game that Johnathan intends to win. Malicious thoughts are hidden behind his smiling and calm façade as he laughs at the suffering of the world. He'll be polite to the end, smiling to your face even as he slides in the knife. Not because he hates you, and certainly not because of some silly ideology, but simply because he felt like it.

Biography:
Growing up in a world that moved too slow for him, Johnathan's youth was a boring one, especially for him. He skipped several classes and majored at a very young age. Everything seemed to come easy to him, so he decided to look for a challenge. Interested in strategy, as well as science, he joined the military. He rose through the ranks fairly quickly, demonstrating to be a good soldier and an excellent commander. It was his skills in handling strange and complicated situations that drew the attention of the Covenant, and initially caused them to accept him into their fold. While not a full member he became one of their military contacts, responsible for providing them with equipment, backup, and occasionally covering up their activities. He relished these duties, greatly enjoying the challenge of balancing his covert actions with his duties as military officer. Rising through the ranks he became an important tactician and advisor both in the standard military and to the Covenant, occasionally even directly assisting in planning missions. At one point he was even put on a government-funded team dedicated to taking care of vampire actions called Soldier. Unfortunately the initiative failed for political reasons, and the makeshift organization swiftly fell apart.

Of course, this couldn't last. On one of the missions he was involved with Johnathan's men managed to capture a live vampire, who was dragged back to his personal little 'bunker'. His behaviour got stranger and stranger as he began commissioning researchers for his own little projects. While he'd previously helped design specialist gear for the Covenant he was now doing other and stranger things, culminating in a stunning act of betrayal. One day he just vanished, taking with him all of his men and all of his equipment. Even when exerting it's not inconsiderable resources it took the Covenant a while to figure out exactly what had happened. His men were intensely loyal, and the Covenant's moles had either defected or disappeared.

About a week later a caravan of trucks with Johnathan in the lead arrived at Magnus' proverbial front gate. Unloading a large amount of military-grade hardware and several captives he demanded to be given command of Magnus' army. While nobody knows exactly how Magnus responded to this, later Covenant reports indicate that Johnathan does perform some form of command function within Magnus' forces. In addition these reports would indicate that Johnathan apparently went through Magnus' entire army finding a suitable sire to vamp him, and then had that sire killed to prevent himself from being influenced. Stories also indicate that he's working on combining vampiric bloodlines, experimenting with werewolf DNA, and designing technology to abuse the more unusual properties of vampires. At one point Johnathan sent a captured Covenant agent back to the Covenant with a letter of apology for his defection, declaring that it was getting boring, and that he intended to live forever. It was signed with ' - your future ruler, Johnathan Mayes'.

Faction/Side: Magnus' Vampires

Abilities:
When examining the different vampiric bloodlines and their abilities, Johnathan opted to become a Gabriellan vampire. His body is still 'alive' and he can be killed by severe damage to his vital organs, although he has a superhuman healing factor. While both his speed and strength are superhuman they aren't nearly as impressive as some of the older vampires. Rather the Gabriellan vampires specialize in mental abilities, and Johnathan uses this in order to psychically influence those who look into his eyes. The ancient vampire power of mesmerising their prey. Using this he can make people speak the truth, cause people to become more loyal to him, paralyze his enemies and even mind control people if they're willpower is weak.

Skills:
Highly knowledgeable in a variety of fields, usually in the natural sciences. He possesses some of the greatest knowledge of vampire and werewolf biology in the world, and has extensively studied vampire abilities. In addition to this he possesses a great strategic mind, being a dangerous opponent on the battlefield for his ability to trick and outmanoeuvre opponents. Physically speaking he has military training and is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant/marksman. Lastly but perhaps most importantly is his social aptitude, the ability to read and manipulate people with ease. It's this ability that grants him his followers.

It was a great story that had some rough spots. But that is bound to happen in Role-Play. With that they tended to die off before we could get far.

EDIT: Also I keep thinking of all of Hank's comments about Mithias not being his father and all those fun times they had together.

For the most part, Carolyn is a woman of few words. She's the type to observe as opposed to engage in conversation. Having such traits doesn't necessarily mean that Carolyn is anti-social as she enjoys spending time with friends and loved ones, but she's usually laconic compared to those around her. Being one who's learned to hold her tongue has given Carolyn the patience that other individuals lack.

Even though Carolyn is quiet and pensive, she's knows when to speak up. Carolyn won't stand for hate or injustice and is very bold to point out anything she may disagree with.

Biography:

Carolyn had a relatively normal childhood growing up. She was constantly warned about the dangers of interacting with "creatures" (as her mother always described them) and as a result, she was sheltered for the majority of the time she lived under the same roof as her parents. In school, Carolyn had a decent number of friends, but she only hung out with them occasionally as she preferred staying in and reading a good book to the alternative. Her interest in reading nearly anything she came across led her to excel in school, and as she became older, she won a scholarship at the local university to join the geography program.

Because her parents were always over-protective of their only daughter, Carolyn was constantly made to join various self-defense classes which progressively became more extreme as she got older. They also bought her a gun so she could learn how to shoot, and she actually enjoyed having control of such a small weapon that had the potential to do so much damage. Unbeknownst to her parents, Carolyn started dating someone in her mid twenties after she started her career as an environmental consultant. His name is Lucas Beaufont, and he's a vampire.

Tristan comes from a time where might makes right, and he has a lot of might to throw around. The vampire is very set in his ways, only adapting what he felt was needed in as the ages marched on. Aside from times barely affecting those mannerisms he's a very blunt individual. Choosing the short and to the point over the long and flowery. His mind is far to brutal for honor, making others wary around him and his violent nature. All of this is hidden behind a calm facade he has constructed to help protect himself and his interests.

Biography:
Tristan chooses not to remember much of his past. Only the parts that defined who he is and how he acts. He can't quite place when he came from, just that weapons, armor, and dwellings were very crude. As time progressed things became more civilized and he barely changed along with it, staying a barbarian. Even in the current day his more primal urges lurk just beneath the surface that rarely gets indulged thanks to that damned Covenant. He hates it but he's just one of many vampires completely outnumbered by those willing to uphold it. So he bides his time, interacting with those who could possibly change things. Either strong-arming them or destroying them outright to get things to go back to when they were. When humans were free to kill and violence reigned.

Faction/Side: Sides with his own kind.

Abilities:

• Shadow Mold: Being a vampire means darkness is your ally and he uses it more effectively than most. He seemingly vanishes in a cloud of black smoke between shadows. He pretty much teleports roughly five to ten feet through shadows so long as he is touching one. It's exceptionally draining if he does this numerous times in quick succession.
• Shaded Regeneration: His healing factor is higher than most vampires. Limbs blown off seem to mold from the shadows where his limb used to be until fully healed. This takes from mere moments to half an hour depending on how severe the damage is to the stump.
• Overdrive: Assuming he's backed into a corner this kicks up. His physical capabilities double for a short while. After it's done he's left helpless, nearly drained of all energy for who knows how long.

Skills:

• Blademaster: He's been using blades of various styles for decades upon decades. They hold no more secrets from him and are his preferred weapon. From the lowly knife to the mighty zweiheinder he's used and mastered them all.
• Dead-eye: He has excellent hand-eye coordination, allowing him to throw and hit his target. Or shoot whatever it is he's aiming at. He prefers more ancient weaponry such as throwing knives/axes and bows/crossbows.
• Expert Rider: He's been riding and taming animals for a very, very, long time. If it can be saddled he can ride it without difficulties. His preferred mode of transportation honestly.

Strengths:

• Vampiric Physique: He has the typical vampire gauntlet of physical capabilities. Enhanced strength, speed, and endurance. His strength and endurance however are higher than most since he has been constantly training himself and getting wounded.
• CQC: He's an expert at CQC, preferring to stay in close and dominate his opponents with strength and skill.
• Lucky: It's less of a strength and more of sheer luck. He has stupid amounts of luck on his side. Maybe Lady Luck likes him.

Weaknesses:

• Typical Vampire: He's not a particularly large fan of the sun, it starts to burn after a little while. Holy emblems wielded by true believers give him pause, not just the christian cross. He's exceptionally combustible. Lastly is silver content causes lasting damage.
• Attractive Women: He's a sucker for a beautiful woman. He has few problems being led around by them until he gets stabbed in the back. Literally.
• Violent: He's exceptionally violent, especially towards other males. He's still stuck in the mental age where you beat the tar out of other men to take or attract a mate.

Likes:

• Weapon upkeep, it's sort of like therapy for him.
• Combat, a good romp and slaughter is always fun. Especially if the soon to be dead fight back.
• Darkness, it's his preferred element. Staying in the shadows of night where it's all calm and cool.

Dislikes:

• His clothes being ruined, it's all leather and difficult to repair.
• Tarnish or rust building up on any form of weaponry.
• Sunlight, aside from it harming vampires he hates its warmth and energetic time.

Mithias has fairly white skin and long black straight hair, sometimes tied behind him. His eyes are a golden yellow.

Personality: Mithias has lived for a long time and has spent a lot of it alone and in quiet contemplation outside of the major events of history. He asked to be made at a time when vampires were considered to be the antithesis of God, spawn of the Devil, and the epitome of evil incarnate, assuming one believed in the supernatural. Much of the populace did at the time. To become a vampire was to turn from the light and surrender one's soul entirely to damnation. This is what Mithias chose, but not entirely without reason. It wasn't despair nor fear of death nor avarice that drove him to abandon his race, but the love for his family and for the innocent and weak that were being trampled and slaughtered thoughtlessly by the warmachine that ran under the guise of organized religion. Once a protector of humanity, Mithias found himself betrayed and abused by the society that raised him, with everyone he knew cast aside to their deaths like dispensible trash as the Knights Templar suddenly became targets of the Inquisition. Using the dark gifts he had been granted, Mithais was able to prevent the events that would have summarily ended his human bloodline, his family, but he himself was forever changed and eternally indebted to a powerful monster.

Honor and righteousness yet remain known to to once-knight, although no force binds him to any moral code any longer. Yet, he has never persued excess or power in the human world, preferring to take only what he needs. Mithias is appalled by heartlessness and takes no pleasure in the suffering of others. He bears a protective nature and is moved occasionally by vengeance. For many years, decades really, he was very lonely. His pale skin and unnatural eyes kept him from mingling with humanity, even his own descendants, even in the light of day. It took centuries before he made another vampire from his own blood, but he did, twice, but those are stories for another time. Mithias is intelligent, responsible, and organized, and has acquired many resources of his own over the centuries living as a free and independant vampire.

Biography: Mithias currently resides in Tenneesse, where he is able to keep watch over a very specific sect of his direct descendants. A Varomere, son or grandson of his, was one of the first founding members of the occult Covenant. All subsequent descendants have been marked for Covenancy ever since, and Varomere became an established name among vampire hunters. Mithias found this intriguing and followed his descendants closely, aiding them, yet always keeping himself at a safe distance. Certain members of the Covenant consider him a legendary ally, yet others would just as soon see him destroyed. It was on one such occasion while fraternizing with the enemy that Mithias encountered an elder vampire, one Lord Bedivere, last knight and acting steward of Camelot. The two have built a significant association in recent times, both being uniquely aware of the existence of truly ancient vampires and both direct inheritors of such potent blood.

Faction/Side: Mithias is through and through, a vampire, and he has no intention that his kind should be eliminated from the face of the Earth. He sees within vampires the potential for nobility and a meaningful use of their immortality and power. He strives to better the race as the perfect gods of the night that they seem meant to be. That being said, he will not hesitate to kill any human or vampire that has completely abandoned all semblance of morality and humanity. His goal is to maintain balance, if not peace.

Abilities:

Mind Ward - Mithias has the ability to prevent his mind from being read or influenced or even detected by other supernatural creatures. It's pretty much on all the time.

True Son of Gabriel - Mithias can communicate telepathically, read others' thoughts, and partially mind-control mortals. It works like dominate in vampire the masquerade or the spell in D&D, or perhaps like a temporary hypnotization affect. It takes some effort and can be resisted by strong willed mortals or immortals.

Vengeance Flame - Mithais can will spontaneous combustion and control fire.

Fast healing - Standard.
Supernatural speed - Standard.
Enhanced endurance - Standard.

Skills and Strengths:

Swordskill - Having been originally a knight in medieval times and personally understanding of the difficulty in killing such creatures as werewolves and other vampires, Mithias is fully aware of the need to be martially proficient. Although vampirism has granted him profound strength and speed, it is only technique and practice that gives him an edge against an otherwise equal foe. With guns and explosives not being invented until centuries later, Mithias focused on training with cutting weapons, learning to sustain himself in potentially drawn out battles where wounding his enemy and defending himself would pay off in his enemy dying of bloodloss. Severing limbs and decapitation were far more effective against a supernatural than a failed heartstrike and became part of his strategy. Mithias created his own style dual weilding two shorter katana-like swords of his own construction which are his favored weapons.

Whip. Handguns. Driving. Piloting. Other basic expected skills.

Weaknesses:

Although able to manipulate fire, Mithias can still be burned and has to be cautious.
Mithias fears the potential uses of mind-control and therefore avoids it.
Like most vampires, if starved, bloodthirst takes over and he will kill to feed.
Not as strong as a lot of other vampires.
Has difficulty passing for a human.
Has diminished vision, strength, speed, reflexes, and healing in bright sunlight.

Likes: Peace and quiet, nature, the sound of a steady heartbeat, honesty and integrity, watching his descendants both vampire and human. Order. Honorable combat.

Eloise always been somewhat scrawny due to her family's financial hardships. She stands at a mere five feet and two inches, and there was always something fragile-looking about her-like a strong gust of wind could blow her away. She has wavy, dirty blonde hair ending just under her shoulder blades that was usually pulled back from her face in a messy bun, though as of late it has been thin and brittle. Her eyes were a bright, shining blue before she was changed, but they have since turned watery and listless. Eloise has a pale complexion, and her cheekbones jut out of her face like knives. Eloise has a frail, diminutive stature and has frequently been described as "bird-like". Before her life (or should I say unlife?) went to hell in a hand basket, Eloise was never anywhere without a cheerful smile on her face. Nowadays, she can't even remember the last time she wasn't hungry or scared.

After being turned into a vampire, Eloise has become unhealthily thin and gaunt, her skin stretched tightly over her hollow cheeks. She has also become much paler, even for a vampire's standards. Her expression always appears to be nervous and anxious, and her eyes flit around the room erratically, filled with wariness and a thinly veiled fear. There is a haggard air to her, and Eloise looks like she barely has the energy to stay on her feet. She walks with a heavy limp.

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality: Scared. That's how most people describe Eloise when they first see her. Scared and frightened and weak. Nervous, anxious, apprehensive; timid.

Eloise herself can't remember much beyond the fear and exhaustion and hunger that pervades every fiber of her being, most days.

Once upon a time, she had been a gentle, cheerful woman who ran a bakery with her husband. Once upon a time, she had children she loved and happiness in her heart.

But that woman is gone.

Ever since she was changed, Eloise has been meek and obedient, her fearful, melancholy eyes perpetually lowered submissively. She keeps her head down and does what she's told without complaint. She doesn't speak unless spoken to. She doesn't ask for anything, and she makes herself scarce unless someone summons her.

Before, Eloise was carefree and kind. She was always an optimist, and she stubbornly saw the good in everything. Friendly, talkative, and impulsive, Eloise lived to laugh and loved to live. She was known to welcome anyone and everyone into the bakery that she and her husband ran with open arms. She was quite a gossip, but never in a mean-spirited way, and she would never, /ever/ intentionally hurt anyone's feelings. Loyal to people (but not ideas, nor causes), Eloise had been as flighty as a bird and as chirpy as one, too. An excellent listener despite her loquacious nature, Eloise was well-liked by the people of her village and famous for her delicious blueberry scones.

Before.

Now, though, Eloise knows there isn't much too her other than the never-ending cycle of pain and exhaustion and hunger and fear. She lives only because her sire allows it, and she is well-aware of this fact.

Eloise has become skittish and afraid, jumping at the slightest sounds and as timid as a mouse. She has begun to unconsciously try to shrink into the corners and make herself appear small and insignificant in order to avoid confrontation. Eloise doesn't really have a personality besides deferential obedience. She is a shadow of a shadow of a shadow of her former self-indeed, Eloise has been through enough to last her twenty lifetimes.

Biography: Eloise had always known that vampires existed.

Everyone in her village knew this: after all, it was a Covenant base in the middle of the secluded English countryside, selected for its proximity to London. The Covenant needed to keep an eye on the vampires of London, after all. The name of the village doesn't matter; it's gone now, and besides, Eloise doesn't know if she remembers the name of it anyway.

Some days, she doesn't even remember her own name.

But more on that later.

Eloise had a happy childhood, though her family was on the poorer side. All the people of her village were poor, minus the members of the Covenant. They were extravagantly rich. All the young men talked of joining the Covenant; joining meant glory and gold. It meant instant fame (at least, in a tiny little village in the English countryside) and the admiration of their fellow villagers. They always seemed to forget the whole part about hunting and killing vampires, though.

Eloise had many friends as a child, but her best friend was a tall brunette named Sarah. Nobody was sure why or how they became friends-Sarah was quiet where Eloise was irritatingly talkative; as steadfast as a mountain where Eloise was as flighty as a bird. The two were inseparable growing up, and even if Eloise can't remember Sarah's name half the time, she still remembers her soft laugh and twinkling brown eyes and comforting presence.

Eloise married the baker's son, John Portsmouth, when she was sixteen. She had children with him-three, in fact-but their names elude her, on most days. She remembers their faces, though, and she holds the memories tight and close when she's conscious enough to think and remember. Eloise loved John; he was kind and sweet and funny, and he made the best bread in the entire world. She was happy with him. That much, she remembers.

Sarah, on the other hand...when Eloise was twenty and Sarah twenty-one (and unmarried!), she joined the Covenant. It turned out that she had some distant aunt or uncle in the Covenant, which made her eligible to join, provided she go through all the required training. Although Eloise didn't see Sarah as often after that, their friendship never wavered.

Then, the winter of 1870 rolled around. It was one of the coldest yet, and one night, Eloise came home to her beloved bakery to find-

-to find an evil, sinister form hunched over her husband's body, blood dripping from its fangs, Eloise's three lovely little children already dead-

-and the thing looked up at stared right at Eloise with emerald-green eyes that glittered like ice in the moonlight-

-and faster than humanly possible, the vampire had Eloise in her impossibly strong hands, and a searing pain tore up the side of Eloise's neck, and she thought that she was going to die, right then and there. But instead, the vampire turned Eloise, and suddenly she was weak with hunger, longing for the taste of human blood.

Eloise's sire is (was? Eloise isn't so sure if she's alive anymore) a vampire named Stella Havisham. After Eloise was turned, Stella immediately etched a rune into Eloise's forearm that bound her will to Eloise. From then on, Eloise would have to obey everything that Stella said.

Stella was a frighteningly powerful vampire who, along with binding others to her will, could manipulate pain (namely, transferring pain from one person to another). She was also a skilled assassin, sent to Eloise's village to kill a few key members of the Covenant. Stella had learned of Eloise's connection to Sarah, and Eloise became a pawn in Stella's plans to expel the Covenant from the village. At first, Stella ordered Eloise to do nothing more than cook and clean (which was still a nerve-wracking task, especially since Stella had quite a ferocious temper in those days), and she forbade Eloise from drinking enough blood on purpose; Eloise was to be nothing more than a temporary storage place for pain that Stella could readily transfer to her opponents in a fight. She needed Eloise's fast vampiric healing to be nearly nonexistent for her plan to work.

The last time that Eloise ever saw Sarah, she had been so hungry that just the smell of human blood made her dizzy. She remembers a heavy bucket and a well an hour before sunrise; the scent of blood and the the feeling of snow soaking through her thin skirts as she fell to her knees, her fangs elongating as the hunger moved through her in waves; Sarah's horrified face, the sound of her own voice weakly begging for help, Sarah's retreating footsteps and the snow feeling strangely warm against her gaunt, bruised limbs. And then Eloise's head starts to hurt and she can't remember anything except pain and exhaustion and hunger.

Shortly after that incident occurred, Stella beat Eloise bloody and then locked her in the cellar before leaving the house. Eloise didn't understand what was going on until the pain was suddenly sucked out of her, leaving her exhausted and empty.

When Stella returned, she ordered Eloise to clean the blood off her blades.

And so the years passed like this. Stella moved back to London, bringing Eloise with her, after finishing her work in Eloise's village. Eloise cooked and cleaned and obeyed, and Stella did nothing but hurt her. Eventually, she grew too weak to perform even simple household tasks, so Stella simply locked her in a closet or cellar and summoned her when she needed Eloise to feel pain. Ever since the 1950s, Stella has simply left Eloise chained to the wall in the cellar, and Eloise spends most of her time in a half-conscious haze. She doesn't have the energy to think, and remembering hurts too much. Stella keeps her alive-just barely-and Eloise's enhanced healing still works, technically, though it doesn't do more than keep her half-alive at this point.

Recently, though, Stella had been using her more often. The beatings had increased exponentially, and there was something wild and frantic about Stella's blows, whereas they were even and methodical before. Eloise won't allow herself to hope-hope is such a dangerous, dangerous thing-but she speculates. Was her sire panicked because the Covenant was closing in?

The Covenant has found Stella, Eloise knows. Her sire has been missing for a month now...well, what felt like a month to Eloise, anyway. She knows that it will not be long before the Covenant finds her as well. Eloise can only hope that the Covenant will spare her any further pain and kill her when they do indeed find her. At this point, a quick, painless death would the greatest gift that anyone could give her.

Faction/Side: If given a choice, Eloise would not affiliate herself with anyone, but as for now, she is technically affiliated with the vampires

Abilities: Unbeknownst to anyone, even Eloise herself, Eloise is able to heal wounds and injuries with her bare hands, provided that she is physically strong enough to use her power. Silver sparks shoot from her fingertips, and when they make contact with the wound or injury, they start knitting the skin back together.

Skills: Eloise can cook (though Stella only ever required her to prepare blood for her) and clean very well, for 19th and 20th-century standards. Doing laundry and scrubbing floors is another area of expertise (she does know how to use a washing machine, surprisingly). Before she was turned, Eloise was a very good baker alongside her husband, and she had the neatest, tiniest stitches in the entire village. Eloise was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed embroidery, but now she reckons that her hands shake too much to embroider, though her eyesight has improved.

Strengths: Eloise is a good listener and a very empathetic person in general. She was very well-liked in her village before she was turned for her friendly disposition and delectable baked goods.

Weaknesses: Eloise has little to no knowledge on how to use any technology beyond the 1950s-1960s. She is more than useless in a fight, and she can be easily manipulated by others. Eloise's healing ability saps strength and energy just like any other physically exerting activity, throughout her entire time as a vampire, Eloise has never been strong enough to use her ability, let alone hone it to perfection. Her healing abilities cannot be used to heal diseases.

Likes: sunny days (as rare as they are in London and the English countryside), birds, flowers, scones of all shapes and sizes, fresh fruit (especially blueberries), the smell of bread baking, tea with plenty of milk, sugar, and honey, the color blue, lavender, the village that she grew up in, horses, cats, spring and summer afternoons, early mornings and sunrises, meadows and streams, gossiping, socializing, not feeling hungry or thirsty, soft blankets, sewing and embroidering

Dislikes: Stella, rainy days and thunderstorms, the darkness, being a vampire, rat blood, violent people and vampires, the smell of death that always seems to cling to Stella, emeralds, sleeping on the floor, the cold
