Arc #2 Gathering of Light & Darkness.

Boarder of Fotia & Gaia

The suns breakthrough gave a glimmer of a new day to all those who lived on the Edafos. The glimmer of twilight that grew brighter by the minute began to illuminate the scorched and torn battlefields that hosted the bloodied corpses of the fallen. Scattered bodies were lifted and tossed to pits with pitchforks and spears. The morning cleanup began and the paths to trade routes and the like were soon to be reopened and met with new securing force by way of soldiers patrolling the wide and quiet roads.

A blessing for those who feared travel but a curse on their resources as a heavier tax was given to pay for the soldiers. Many new slaves were made from the constant fighting the night and the earlier night before brought as most nomadic villages and towns made by the hard work of noncitizens and citizens alike were burned to the ground. Recapturing these heaps of rubble were now the task of mercenaries and few willing soldiers, including noncitizens who fought to reclaim their homes. It was the morning light that gave signal to these few to reclaim what was lost.

But few cultists remained in such locations and there were hardly a battle to be won. Reclaimed land was most of what it was. The rest were corpses of their loved ones, the ones that lived outside the capitals had their women and children slain before them or worse. All this brutality in the attempt to please the one the cultists worshipped.

A prayer that their goals never meet fruition was embroidered in every heart. The bodies of the innocent were strung up with ropes and pierced with both small and large wooden objects. Other mutilations were done in ways that required countless hours and tedious work. A fear for their brutality was now known throughout the Edafos.

“Get that fire started! We won’t be late for this organized meeting between lords. If we do you might not like what happens to your job!” A booming voice echoed over several men and women all dressed with the same dirty attire. They moved about the interior of a giant machine that hosted nobles of Fotia with elegant foods and workers keeping it all together.

Steam emitted from its sides as workers shoveled coal into boiling containers. Hot air rose and filled large pill like balloons with heated air. The captain of the ship had his hand on a rod that held a gem on its tip. It connected to the ground and a aura could be seen surrounding his body. A Fotian man he was and was shirtless as he whistled along an old Fotian tune sang in bars.

The captain’s voice echoed once more as he spoke into a device within his free hand that was connected to a large tube that went into the walls and down to the lower floors. “Alright..” He grinned. “Lift off.” The Airship lifted into the air from a highpoint in the capital of Fotia. Within the ship sat the king Magnixx and many other royals that had great importance within Fotia.

The ship rose itself into the sky and met the rising sun as it headed for Vrondi. It was after the ship was well away from the volcanic rims of Fotia did the recognition by many royals, whom peered out the glass frames, did they see the colossal size of a dragon covered in what appeared to be stone, like a living mountain side. It soared with its massive all encompassing wings high above the Edafos. If it were not for the clouds below it it would cast a shadow beneath a wide radius below.

Flying about the beast were smaller dragons being ridden by Gaian knights of the elite order. The knights were many as they effortlessly flew about the giant dragon on their own. Atop the giant dragon was their queen and she sat within a dome like structure on the beasts back that almost seemed to have a complete infrastructure. She was seen emerging from the doors of this dome on the back of her glistening dragon.

The dragon’s eyes narrowed on the horizon line and marched forward with careful forward steps that displayed elegance within the violent whirling winds The Queen herself was garmented in a delicately jeweled white garment that revealed the translucent scales over her fair flesh. The beast she rode expanded its wings and caught the winds. It barreled to the side before the wind around it became visible as the trails of cloud it left behind it a loud burst that sent it flying forward and reaching the mass of the giant head of the dragons they rode upright on.

“Always one to be a part of a spectacle when it comes to dragons.” Scoffed the baritone voice of a man confident in himself enough to swiftly mention distaste for the Queens display. It was none other than Magnixx. His voice oozed with amusement that lightened the mood for the royals that stood about the banquet floor nearest to him. His attire resembled his usual shirtless form but he had gold carefully stationed around his shoulders and his pants were nearly glistening with woven silks and jewels placed carefully to resemble armor that hugged his calves. In his hand sat a cup which he held vicariously. Around his shoulders and across his body was a red cloth and on his forehead was the symbol of the dragon slayers. His arms had the familiar tattoo bestowed upon the king of Fotia.

Magnixx let the glow of the rising sun meet his eyes as he peered through the windows of the ship on the far walls. The light engulfed him as he met lips with a silver cup with red liquid within. He lowered the cup to a plate held by a servant standing to his side with a single hand underneath the plate to keep it balanced. This servant wore attire similar to a elite soldier of the royal order, fully attired and equipped with a spear on his back.

He stood firmly to the King’s side holding the silver cup and plate with eyes set on the same vastness of the Edafos that was laid out before them. “It seems all will be taking this opportunity to display their riches and advancements. Such a shame the Queen of Gaia chooses to arrive on Dragons. How vile.” Muttered a Fotian royal who waved himself with a fan made of paper and designed like an angel’s wing. He spoke to another similar to himself but both were a little ways to the side.

It was the grit of his teeth and the tension in his shoulders that gave away the fact Magnixx heard the comment from the royal. With a slow turn of his head he aimed to gaze upon his target, a rage boiling within him. But the gentle white gloves of the spear wielding servant touched Magnixx upon the shoulder. “Sire. I do not wish to tell you what to do. But it was you that informed me none must know of the feelings you harbor.” With a pause Magnixx turned to look at his servant who slowly removed his hand from Magnixx. Both meeting gazes and Magnixx giving in. He returned to the window and the dancing dragons the Queen Allo Niscent had performing aerial acrobatics.

The Fotian Kings look was less amused now and more scorned with drooping eyelids, a vast difference from the Queen who smiled ear to ear as she spiraled about the massive stalagmites that were the scales of the dragon her people rode upon. She was followed by her elites who rode various dragons that were expert flyers. The wind was nothing but paths to ride upon as the Queen led the way creating wind tunnels they all rode upon effortlessly avoiding the pillars of the Dragon’s back. The Queen reached the eye of the beast and waved to it before spiraling off in front of it. The roar that could be heard from the beast echoed over almost the entire Edafos.

The return of the Queen was met with applause as she entered the lifted stone doorway with her dragon walking beside her. Her hand was lifted to its side as she strutted and wiped her face with a white cloth equipped to her free hand as she approached a throne. She sat upon the stone throne after applying her heels to the surface of a red carpet and many stairs. She had both hands placed on the arm rests and smirked as she watched the excited expressions of her royal compatriots.

She placed both hands together and clapped and the crowd grew more silent. “I’m glad you all enjoyed the display. Our humble dragoons, the knights that guard the skies, have taken part in this upon my request. All funding for our soldiers is very necessary as they are the most capable of handling any major threat to our capital.” She leaned back more as she spoke and remained smiling with a slight glimmer in her eye like a plot was unfolding to her liking.
Tearianaris: West of Town “Tidal”

The center of this structure was filled to the brim with water. It failed to seep through as the occupants inside swam about and moved objects around with little effort making good use of the lack of gravity. The Magoi knew it was not the water allowing their free movement about the interior of the vessel but their Queen, Tydra Nept. The Magoi remained as keepers of the core that guided this contraption on its path. They were below the sphere of water that vibrated with the booms that were timed to a rhythm from a large black orb that had a lighting surface with every touch a man did with his fingers tapping it swiftly yet tirelessly.

He wore a goggled helmet on his head and bubbles escaped from a tank strapped to his back. It was clear he was not a Lassa and yet he made effortless movements beneath the water with his hands. His feet were lifted up and almost seemed to want to float up without him. But as he tapped away his fingers seemed to make him remain like glue. Green lights, red, blue, pink, purple, and all of their spectrums flashed rapidly as he seemed to be vigorously trying to do something. It was clear to only those who knew of the secrets of Tearian technology. He was manipulating the sounds with his fingers and though they were nothing more than sounds they intertwined with the voice of a Lassa woman who stood within a cage.

Though her voice was fair and elegant she was darkened by a velvet curtain that did not show her form beyond her silhouette. She stood within the cage above the man who gripped the sphere. It was after the noises began to reach a higher vibration and her voice grew soft did the Lassa royals within the aquatic sphere swim about in abandon. The music seemed to slowly place them into a trance that took them in spirals that took no consideration of what was land or sky. Beneath the waters one would be standing face to face with another with feet dangled in opposite directions. The voice of the man could be heard as the Tearian form of music continued to blare loudly within the water dome.

Many Lassa danced within the sphere displaying their beauty and elegance. This was all to prepare for the meeting of royals and the underlying desire to show all who lives more luxuriously.

Above it all was the Queen. At her sides were two royal guards who dressed in skin tight black attire with no weapons or armor as most soldiers did. One was male and another female, both young but the male was clearly older. They appeared to be Lassa, just as the queen and stood on her left and right sides. Both shared the blue scales and moist skin of a Lassa. The female was amused and the male looked a bit stern. On both of their hips was a device with a barrel and glowing streaks running down the barrels.

The queen was adorned in countless jewels and a head ornament that resembled every the shells and fins of the creatures of the deep but the colors were mixed together in countless dazzling arrays. Two long beaded ear rings dangled with large sapphire jewels placed carefully within. Her dress was long white with a hint of green and blue. It flowed with a waving like appearance and became multicolored with the suns early rays much akin to the delicate angel fish of the ocean.

Her sleeves were even elongated to cover her entire hand. She lifted a hand that was engulfed by the sleeve to her meticulously manicured face, aquamarine lipstick and pink blush on her cheeks. Her lashes were long and sparkled with small silver glinting droplets as she blinked. The Queen looked near to yawn but only held her sleeve over her lips and mouth. “It’s so boring having to be Queen. Sorry you two have to babysit me while I’m covered like this.” She spoke in a friendly tone to the two next to her.

They were high above the dome within the circular stadium like ship that floated slowly a mile above the highest trees that led to Vrondis territory. The two beside her looked to her, one smiling ear to ear and the other nodding solemnly. “My Queen. It is an honor to be at your side!” The man bowed with a serious composure.

The girl simply chuckled a bit as she let out a “No Problem!” To which the man looked to her. “Do not address the Queen in such a manner!” His voice rising in pitch. Tydra was smiling beneath her sleeve and let out a chuckle as her shoulders shifted up and down inadvertently. “C’mon! This again?” The girl twisted her smile to say. All while eye rolling and looking more antagonized, a groan rattling in her vocal delivery. The bickering of the two amused the Queen for a while as she took her mind off of her responsibilities for just a little while.

Tydra being covered in adornments made her stand out beyond any other royal and being the only other female Queen next to Allo she was pressed by her royal dressers to make her beauty rival the Niscent bloodline. She was quite fair Tydra, but she was cautious beneath the attire and could not flow with natural beauty like Allo. At least this was what she told her closest companions who stood before her, bickering. She decided to calm the situation with a loud clearing of her throat.

"Now, now.. in private we may be cordial. But I agree on such a day we must be as strict and polished as possible." Both nodded in agreement. Tydra ruled her head with a grin emerging on her lips. "It's so good to see you two working together." They both turned their heads the opposite direction of each other when she said this. This act made her chuckle more behind her sleeve. It was not very Queenly to be seen smiling as she does so often in the presence of her closest friends as she was told by royal advisors of previous queens and kings over Tearia.

East of Twilight town

The dark side of the Edafos was now illuminated with light that showed its untouched swamps and decayed life. It was this way quite often within the land of Nero. Death lingered about its vast hostile territories. As one passed to the boarder and beyond the town of twilight one would find the lush greenery to be an inviting change to the drooping wildlands. The more outward beauty of Vrondis territory was no more a sense of taste or preference. The mushrooms and vigorous plants of Nero made beauty not often seen outside of it.

It was this beauty that was held within the black painted hands of a Nero royal. Her face was veiled with a see through black dotted adornment and beside her was a narrowed effeminate chinned Nero man with a mask over his eyes that adorned his head similar to a crown. Within the hands of the fair pale skinned Nero woman was a jar which held a mushroom. In the dark it glowed a green hue that glittered on its many splotches. The glow reflected upon her black dress and the light gray designs.

The man next to her wore black leather top and bottom with silver plates elegantly molded on and into the attire. The black and silver made many appearances within his attire. Pointed boot ends and silver clawed gloved hands. Shoulders and knees given the shape of armor despite the spirals they made on the edges that intertwined within the fabric. The leather appeared very similar to large scales. It was indeed royal attire forged from basilisk hide.

The carriage that brought the two past twilight was surrounded by shadowed warriors riding black steeds. These beasts had flowing white hair and red eyes. The warriors were scaled with sleek black leather made clearly from basilisk hide. Their eyes were pearl white orbs that gave the same pupiless appearance of the blind. Each soldier had a black bandana that swayed in the breeze. The man within the black carriage had on his shoulder a red symbol for the Dolofon. He raised his head revealing a red glimmer of light that escaped his eyes beneath the helmet adornment on his head.

The carriage was soon met with another visitor. Rising from the shadows within the carriage was an elegantly dressed Nero man. Roses of red and black adorned his attire from the ends of his black sleeves to the collar around his neck that lowered to reveal his chest. Slender he was he bowed gracefully to the man and the woman alike. "All is prepared for your arrival me Lord. I have made sure of it, any mishaps will be the Vrondians doing. Or the other kingdoms..." He smiled as he spoke. His eyes not moving in th dark to find a reaction.

He stood still as the man before him sat back and crossed a leg over the other. "Very well. Is that all?" A confidently elegant yet stern voice of The adorned man spoke. He did not attempt to place eyes on the man either. Instead all remained forward facing as they spoke. "All seems to be well." The rose pedaled man spoke, his light hearted tone was contrast to the eerie silence between the man he spoke to and the woman.

This man he spoke with was Sleeth Mythue, the king of Nero. Next to him was his closest kin and seer of fate, Lady Theama of the Mythue bloodline. She was raised from a young age to be a seer and user of the mystic arts. A school of manifestation and manipulation that were often off limits or forbidden by other schools including the Magoi. To see the future was what an ultimate assassin demanded and that was what the Nero people have had for their reign.

"You may go." With those words spoken the man faded to black and the king sat next to his sister with an air of boredom washing over the Kings demeanor as he placed hand to cheek and awaited the arrival to the Vrondi capital. Theama turned to her brother with the jar held out. "I sense this will be a miracle for all descended kind. This day may mark the day we no longer reside in the dark. Our riches will be realised.." Her tender voice spoke at length with a smile planted on her lips.

Sleeth did little to react and merely remained as he were, silent and unmoving. She returned the jar to her lap and kept her hidden gaze upon it. "I'm glad. If not for us then the future of our kind." A scoff could be heard from Sleeth as he sucked his fangs. "To be a part of the others is a dream, not a prediction." His voice was bleak. The King saw the others as cattle more often than equals. A bloodied glass met his lips after he lifted it from a silver plate. "I have no place for dreams."

His reply was met with silence as the smile on Theamas face slowly faded. "I'll dream... for the both of us then." She softly let out as she held the jar closer to her. A desire to be one with the outside world was brightly shining within the shadows of the carriage walls. A small smile could be seen on the face of the king after she spoke.

Vrondi Capital

The sun was rising. So did most of towns people of Vrondi. They woke to decorate the festive city streets and centers with plantations that grew almost instantly into blooming massive flowers. The spores these flowered released relaxes the mind and body and it filled the air of the entire city in no time. It was a bright and early morning. A few Sol men blowing clouds of smoke from large pipes that they shared amongst each other before the rising sun.

Other prepared to charge themselves within the sun's rays ad laid back on the grass. Women and children did this as well as many families sat around the grassy hills of the captial. Mornings were eventful in Vrondi capital. It was even more So as the preparations for the meeting was soon to take place. It was hours from now, but all readiness plans had to be executed. For the most frequented and respected kingdoms of all the lands Vrondi was urged to be spotless today.

Within the town of Sunfire: Rest Easy inn

The soldiers within the town of Sunfire frequented around Rest Easy. As the sun began to rise the weariness of Velai began to overtake her. She was found out by her savior Paon and had little energy left to deny him what he saw. Nor did she have the energy to explain.

The day and night were eventful and for her a moments rest seemed all that mattered. With drooping eye lids she wiped her wet eyes before Paon with her sleeves. “It’s nothing. Please have a room you must rest while you heal.” She tried to take the concern off of her, as her turmoil was emotional.

The clanking steps of armored boots approached the two from their backside. Velai looked back and up to see the towering figure of a Vrondian guard clad in armor fully prepared for battle. He had a calm look on his face that did not welcome pleasantries and stood only to complete a task. “You two. May we have a word?” He asked, his partners standing by the doorway and talking with patrons about what they saw. Their worried glances in their direction gave away the attention these two had on them.

“Yes certainly.” Velai said as she slowly got to her feet. She met the soldier’s abdomen in height and as such she looked up to him. The Soldier awaited Paon to rise as well. “Names and citizenships please.” He asked bringing out a piece of paper and a small feathery scale to use as a pin.

His eyes narrowed on Paon and his wounds. “My name is Velai, I work here and I’m a citizen of Vrondi.” She flashed from beneath her clothes collar a golden badge of the sun engraved with the markings of an official citizen of Vrondi. The soldier nodded and gave a slight smile to Velai before turning to Paon. “And you?” He asked.

Gaian Mountains. The Temple of Knowledge

The way the calm nature of Qobo and his monks went about this ordeal fascinated Vulcan. It was indeed to be expected of those who lived in solitude. The drama and trouble of the world below engulfed him and made his fists a bit stale to his mind. He clinched his fist as a smirk emerged on his old lips.

Perhaps a test of might may polish his rusted fists of stone to the luster they once were. He sighed as he was guided to a room away from the mess and troubles of the new arrivals. He wished he could have had the time to bring Magnixx here so that even he too may find peace. Vulcan peered out the openings to the clouds and far off landscapes of the world below the mountain from his room.

He cloaked himself in a garb granted to him by a monk that cloaked his body and shielded it from the winds that bellowed through. It was indeed something to ponder. Within the dragons grasp were two souls, one living and another dead. The dragon seemed relatively fine however. If he was not mistaken he sensed the soul of a wielder of light. A Sol shield guarded the dragon from that much force?

Vulcan could feel the presence of two ancient dragons combining their auras in hostile displays. It was not intentional that they did this, but as a descendant the aura waves felt nearly combined with their proximity to each other. Never has he felt such pressure all at once from dragons. It was a fierce feeling indeed that made Vulcan a bit numb. The sounds were nothing to what one could feel from their souls and the arrival of Qobo and the young Sol girl lowered the pressure a bit.

A Sol? Could she harness enough power to save herself and the dragon? “Strength does not only exist in the ability to destroy ones enemy. But to protect ones loved ones..” His words met the wind as he pondered on his next move. The time for change was certainly upon his old soul for one last time.

South field of Sunfire

”That’s enough…”

The cool waves of air surrounding the area Mirror was combating in was visible through frost caking the blades of grass and littered bodies. The mist also gave form to the dome Mirror formed around him and Nuxta. Nuxta was the possessor of the Vrondi King’s Guardian. The dome was formed from mist breaking into the air from shattered pieces of ice that were so miniscule they remained air born in visible spiraling groups. The voice of Nuxta was of a fair man who took poise and elegance above brutish demands.

Though his voice gave a demand, and echoed as it did, it escaped as silver that smoothed the ear drums. However after speaking these words the ice he was incased in began to break from within. A loud shattering boom waved shards of ice across the field with a shockwave that ruptured the ground beneath those within radius. With this shockwave the ice around Nuxta was fragmented to particles that swept a immobilizing cold upon many within the radius even wider than Mirrors aforementioned dome.

Mirror stood close by. His hair and wings waved in the wind with no control before a coating of transparent ice layered his body and held his delicate clothes and features in place. His eyes however remained untouched and blinked beneath a raised arm at Nuxta. It seemed the shock wave only served to make Mirror stand firm. The shards of ice broke from his form however piece by piece as he withstood the force.

The soldiers that were far back were still affected by the shock waves and even some of the cold that now rained down rapidly as snow and ice from above on all in the battlefield. The soldiers who held onto their hopes and kept the wall shield up felt the vibrations and debilitating cold. Many more fell from exhaustion and soon the barrier was shattered with a blade from the giant scaled woman. Her tongue flicked out and showed it was forked and purple with green venom dripping from her supple dark green lips.

Her yellow eyes searched the souls of the soldiers to find Animus. He stood among his fallen comrades with blade pointed up. A few other soldiers retained balance on their feet and chucked spears at the woman. Her blade waved them away with accurate swipes showing she had formidable speed despite her height. The green smog she had behind her flowed now forward and met the bodies of some of the fallen soldiers. The result could be described as nothing other than slow petrification.

Mirror looked back to Lila and the dragon that now was held in her arms. He had no time to deal with her blood lust right now, it seemed the dragon helped her and for that he would be in its debt. ”You’re not going anywhere…” Mirror spoke but he felt himself waver a bit. ”Not yet.. I have a few more left in me…” His head tilted forward but shot back up and ice began to form around his feet and spread across the ground toward Nuxta. ”Then More after that you bastard.”

The ice reaching Nuxta legs went but the body rapidly. The movement of Nuxta’s legs broke the ice and shattered it across the ground. ”I see..” The solemn voice of Nuxta rang out as the ice he broke free from continued to spread. ”It appears as though I must strike you child.” These words gave slow contrast to the swift long step that propelled Nuxta forward. The large armored body created a shockwave with its step and launched the silver spear it ripped from the ground while midair at Mirror.

The spear met the ground and Mirror was no longer there. He left a trail of frost in the air as he spiraled around the spear and now around Nuxtas body. Mirrors legs were missing and his lower half trailed off in the air like mist. ”Roar!” Mirror cried and the trail turned into a long slender dragon made of ice. Its head encased Mirror and as Nuxta broke it to pieces it soared high into the air. There Mirror witnessed the sunlight emerging from the horizon line and smiled faintly. ”This might as well be for you. King. ”

White Whirlwind

A tornado of ice and snow whirled with massive encompassing girth down and around Nuxta. Those in the vicinity would be blown away. Nuxta within the tornado was constantly frozen with ice and snow. However his red eye glow could be seen behind the white whirlwind. With the glimmer of sunlight reaching the field the whirlwind stopped and Nuxta was frozen once more in layers of ice that formed around the armors shape. The red glow could be seen fading away as the glistening ice reflected the hues of the sun in a rainbow array of light.

“My King!”

Screamed the voice of the large woman and she swung her blade into Animus’s, sending him sliding a yard before she dashed over the soldiers and trampled her way to Nuxta. Mirror landed from above before Nuxta and in her path. He turned his head slowly to see the large woman making her way toward him. He readied a blade of ice in his right hand as he only stood halfway in preparation for her approach. He both kept an eye on her but an awareness of Nuxta.

”My dear. It is time we departed. My sister will not be pleased if I collect In the presence of her sun.” The cool voice of Nuxta rang out. The ice laying him began to crack once more and Mirror turned his head swiftly. ”Not so fast I-“ As he prepared to strike again, the temperature dropping around him, he felt the large woman swing her blade from above at him. The wind whistled before a loud clash could be heard between Mirror and the woman. His simple thin blade meeting her large, but proportional to her, sword.

The ice sword held up against hers but the ground around Mirror did not as it crumbled beneath him forcing him to dash to the side and face her. ”Ever since my king was slain I have been in search for another. Finally I have found him. You will not get in the way of I, the Queen of the Basilisk, Ghara. Souls are what I demand and your kind on a spike.” She hissed with venom both figuratively and literally. The soldiers behind them were escaping the smog and evacuating their fallen.

Mirror gritted his teeth. This is bad. He thought and glanced at where Lila and the dragon fell. I should tell them to run. Lila.. I may die here. He smirked and held up his blade. As he did this approaching from his side was Animus. He came to meet back to back with Mirror as both held their blades. One looked to Nuxta another to the Basilisk Queen Ghara. They slid their feet forward in bracing themselves. Nuxta slowly broke from his prison this time and Ghara only watched with a gleeful smile at Nuxta freeing himself. She seemed less interested in murder than being with her supposed suitor.

All was the same however. Despair filled the air beyond the frost that gave visibility to their heavy breathes. Just then a lightning bolt emerged from high above from a few dark clouds that snuck above them all under the guise of snow clouds formed by Mirror. This blue streak of lightning landed between the four and it began to form the figure of a mans body. The lightning jolted about and then condensed to create the beginnings of a person.

After the light faded standing within the scorched mass the bolt created was A masked man who took off his mask as soon as he properly formed. Electricity still emanated from his body with loud cackles that threatened to harm any creature that neared him. ”It is time master.” His monotone and calm voice rang out before he snapped a free handed finger.

The sky, the ground and visible reality itself seemed to cave into a thin white slit in the air that opened up rapidly revealing a swirling two dimensional mass of black and red that turned into a tunnel as it collapsed into itself. The end of the tunnel was another land with various things in the background. It looked similar to a tunnel to nowhere from the sides and from the back it simply looked like a distortion. This man looked to Mirror and Animus with unconcerned eyes before stepping away through the portal himself. His body faded into particles.

Nuxta and Ghara both stepped toward each other and to the portal. With unified steps they entered the portal and both vanished as they disintegrated into thin lines that warped across the tunnel before it collapsed and closed leaving behind a loud shattering boom.
Mirror stood with Animus and both breathed with uneasy expressions. Sweat dripping from their brows and their positions not changing from their preparation to fight. It seemed surreal to them. They were… gone? Animus collapsed while Mirror fell to a knee. He looked to Lila and began to slowly drag himself towards her. ”Who is your new friend?” He questioned when in range of her sharp hearing.

Paon

Paon tilted his head, but decided not to push any further. He was after all, mostly a stranger. One that usually hardly interacted with those outside of assassins. Unless he was trading...in which case he had a few whom knew him by various appearances. He gave a small nod. "Okay. I accept your hospitality, but I ask you do not give away... He trailed off before motioning toward his eyes. He often kept their color and the act of blindness. It was he greatest tool in any shape.

Paon heard the boots approaching and looked ahead. He was acting now...something he was very very good at. His head tilted and he looked slightly to the left of the guard. "Of course sir" He seemed...meek all of a sudden. He was no threat. He was blind and small, nothing to attack. Paon stood, knowing they could see his wounds, and now they could see his eyes. "Pallua. I am a trader of Vrondi" Heavy footsteps and he crouched down feeling along the floor for his shirt.

Once paon 'found' his shirt he grasped it and felt along it before showing the badge that belonged to the city. It looked identical to the real thing. He had planned to come here after all, and he was always prepared with his badges. Badges and a fake name for each city. Though, this was an additional fake name that was his backup should he be in his main descendent form. He rarely had to use it, but here he was...using it. It annoyed him to no end.

In the Dragonpass Encampment, Maria reached a large enough clearing to shapeshift back into her pulsar dragon form. She looked around for a bit and put it back in her head that this place will be a definite place to return to. She sighed with a slight relief that she needs to look for answers on this book and whoever that voice in her head belongs to. ”I-I hope I am strong enough...,” Maria thought to herself, with a slight worry about all this. She shapeshifted back into her dragon form that was beautiful and glistened in the sunset because of her rainbow aura. She flew off towards Gaia’s Territory that is towards the east. ”I-I been there only once in Gaia, but how long ago was it?” Maria thought to herself, trying to remember about Gaia.

Maria felt a strange pulsing darkness surrounding her entire body and it slowly dissipated as soon as it appeared. Her rainbow aura changed to a blackness only ever seen during her Dark Rainbow Surge but it went back to normal afterwards. Her wings somewhat twitched a bit and she lost a bit of altitude but not enough to crash into the ground. ”T-That’s terrifying, why is that voice forcing Dark Rainbow Surge onto me?” Maria thought to herself, with a shock in her rainbow colored eyes. Her rainbow aura did show her one emotional state all the time, and it is fear and sadness mixed. She stayed at the height she was now at and pushed herself a bit further towards the thing that Johnson told her about the library and temple in Gaia.

Within Dragonpass Encampment, in Johnson’s home. Johnson finally regained his composure and looked for the contract on Maria, Zargoth and Yioplya. He always wondered why his father literally told him everything but it felt like he was hiding a dark secret. He searched his father’s room a bit more seriously than he usually does and found the exact contract* and saw a shocking discovery. His eyes went wide and was confidently felt his heart sank into a deep dark abyss that he had never wished to find again. ”....Ancestors what have you done…,” Johnson said, angered a bit. He looked at the stain on his family for so long and he looked at the Contract with disdain and anger. He noticed the names of the contract from his family that signed it a very long ago and it is predating the dragon war for one. ”Exarch Derrick signed this contract? Are you kidding me, he’s a full blooded Solar Dragon,” Johnson said, stunned in seeing that name.

Johnson remember hearing stories of Exarch Derrick’s Betrayal from the Matriarch’s wishes to stay out of the affairs of other dragons. He heard that exact thing when he was younger from his father, when he read him the stories of Betrayal from the Stonefield Family’s personal records from an ancient time. He saw a strange glow on the Contract and stopped holding it or reading it. ”Wait… Exarch Derrick is really a female? By what name…,” Johnson thought to himself with curiosity. He looked for the real name of the Exarch and saw it and was utterly shocked. He actually met Melinda before and she was kind enough to give him his name and a gift to him. ”Oh my…,” Johnson said aloud.

The Contract started glowing and a face appeared from it and it was an echo from the time the contract was created. “Who goes there? Why are you reading the Contract of Dissolution?” Dargoth asked, with an echo in his voice since it was a past echo.

Johnson saw the echo of Dargoth and was shaken to his core. ”Johnson Stonefield, sire,” Johnson said, with a quite a terrified look on his face.

Dargoth’s eyes glowed and his smile came when he heard the name and felt safe. “You can… continue. If you dare to betray this contract all your family members will feel the wrath of the Valorous Dragonlord,” Dargoth said, with an echo. Dargoth’s visage vanished and the glow on the contract ceased and it became a regular contract again.

Johnson saw the goals of the contract and now understood every single thing his parents were trying to make him do and he didn’t once done it. ”Dissolution… it seems like your plans are for naught the Valorous Dragonlord and I will make sure it won’t happen ever,” Johnson said. He took out his weapon and slammed it on the Contract of Dissolution destroying it. He felt his spirit lift as if it was under a curse, and it was finally freed. ”The Valorous Dragonlord will pay in the afterlife tenfold of what he caused the descendants of the Solar Dragons to do the horrible things,” Johnson said.

Johnson walked out of the room and towards the outside since he wanted to be with his family and tell his wife of what had transpired in his parent’s room. ”I should ask some of the guards to clean up the mess in the room,” Johnson thought to himself.

In the Vrondi Capital, Zargoth was walking towards the center of town with his daughter Yioplya. He had a strange air surround him for a split second but it vanished again. He stopped for a second and looked around him to see if there’s anything but nothing was there. ”What was that…?” Zargoth thought to himself, with his composure a bit shaken. He wondered about that for awhile until he started walking again it was unnecessarily strange feeling he had felt. He looked at his daughter who was taking in the sights.

Yioplya was happy that her father was showing her around, this massive city, she didn’t really see much when coming here. She was excited as a kid in a candy store seeing all the new sights it is much beautifuller at day then at night. ”Dad, this place is amazing,” Yioplya said.

Zargoth laughed at what his daughter had said. He didn’t say anything to her since he was at least happy to see her smile and take in things. He had other things on his mind to deal with of what was that feeling he felt. ”Hmm… There’s some strange things going on,” Zargoth thought to himself.

In Rest Easy, Tavern. Magnus was sitting at the bar awaiting for someone to approach him to give him something to drink. He couldn’t be too sure about anything right now. ”Good lord, I guess I should’ve got something to drink at home but I didn’t want to wake up my wife and child…,” Magnus thought to himself, annoyed at this dilemma. He shrugged his shoulders and waited there for one of the fine hosts of the establishment to make an appearance. His face had a smirk on it but it was only there because he enjoyed the tranquil place of Sunfire. ”Hmm… I hope someone can give me service,” Magnus said, with a smirk and an annoyed tone in his voice.

Meanwhile, in the skies going towards the library in Gaia, Maria felt a bit strange but was flying towards the Library. She flew much higher than even the black dragons fly and her aura was shining much brighter when being hit by the sun. ”I’m hopeful this library c-can help me…,” Maria thought to herself. She had a smile on her draconic face, while she flies.

Maria kept her emotions in check but didn’t know how far up the library is or what mountain it is on. Her aura was changing colors rapidly even more so than normal, it's mostly because she cannot keep her emotions in check. The first color in her aura was nervousness and anxiety.

Fenix "Blyze" Lyranis
Location: Boarder of Fotia & Gaia
Interacting With: @Rai

Fenix was not a fan of the hurdles he had to go through on such a regular basis... It was minor, petty things, but to him it was obnoxious and bothersome. Like wearing all of these fanciful clothes and layers. He understood that most did not share his view of 'reducing drag', but it was almost painful to wear so many ornate layers upon layers to uphold appearances. Though it had to be given his audience and peer group that he mingled with on this trip. After all the royalty of Fotia had to hold their companions in high regard and they couldn't bear to have one running around damn near naked.

Before long they were in the air and despite the odd sense of vertigo that beset Fenix for a few brief moments he figured that making appearances and attending to those who decided to bring him along on this trip. Walking from his private room aboard the craft and leaving the lap of luxary for it's buxom bosom as the beautiful halls of the royal airship stretched on before him. Before reaching the courts of the flying castle he glances out the peerless windows to see the rising sun and expansive lands of the Fotian Kingdom. While many may see a volcanic waste he only say the beauty of fire and the majesty of burning creation, crafting new rock shelves and lands in the flash of brimstone and magma. It was true beauty.

Returning to his path he passed by several noble lords and ladies, giving them their customs and curtsies, some not recognizing him and wondering what a servant was doing walking about the hall so freely or unburdened by labors, but others did recognize him. Several congratulating him on his achievement and even a few making conversation about The Trekker Championship. Quiet a few of the ladies he passed seemed to be giving a curious eye to as even despite his quiet covered state he was an attractive man who held a slim figure from his constant training for the upcoming 11th Trekker Championship. Of which that reminded him... A rumor had been walking about the halls that one of his greatest rivals would be making an appearance at this meeting. The Lassian nicknamed Wave and really the only real threat to his title that Fenix counted on.

Before long Fenix made his way to the banquet hall that none other than the King of Fotia, Magnixx sat at the other end, enjoying the labors of the land and looking quiet regal... and shirtless. 'Lucky bastard' Fenix thought to himself wishing that he didn't have to wear so many stuffy layers. He was overheating and melting under these stupid fabrics! Though with a more serious tone and a held composure he walked into the catching more than a few eyes and the attention of some rather young ladies who made shy faces towards him. Tossing a smile their way as a blushed conversation broke out among them. Ascending to the upper areas of the hall he was about to take a seat to enjoy the ride among royalty when the expanse of the Gaian Dragon Show came through the clouds, twirling and twisting through the clouds with such extreme grace that it made Fenix envy them. Though it disheartened him a tad when his host made a jab at the show. Of course it was incredibly flashy and clearly begging for attention, but on a much more basic level it spoke to him. That wild freedom, the rushing air, and the feeling of traversing an unending expanse. In that moment he wished he had wings that weren't more than back spikes, something that could let him join the Gaians.

Though as he drew his gaze away from the show he approached the dais that Magnixx sat upon and once he drew up to him he let himself down to one knee gracefully, bowing his head and proclaiming, "My king. I thank you for granting me the honor of joining you and your court on this journey. I feel truly privileged." Staying on his knee to render proper honors and to wait for the order to rise so as not to insult his liege.

Lila Moriarty

,

Virais

&

Mirror

@Rai @Deos Morran

Lila could hear Mirror fighting, but she couldn't do anything to help him. Their fighting styles were far too different, and against such opponent, without knowing its weakness and vulnerabilities, Lila couldn't do anything. She was not made to trap or maim, she was made to hunt and kill. But Mirror knew that, after all... she was only a tool. And he knew how to wield such tool perfectly. He always sent her on missions that were perfect for her. Hunt, eliminate, assassinate, kill... Fast, precise and deadly.

”Who is your new friend?” Mirror asked, dragging himself on her direction. She knew he was wounded by the way he moved, by the frequence of his breathing...

"I... I don't know..." she said, taking the small dragon on her arms, without realizing.
"He just came near me and... helped me." she said. Although she didn't say anything about it, it was obvious by the way she was holding  it and looking at it that she had bonded with it.

If Lila was a normal girl, maybe she would probably ask if she could keep it, but instead of doing that, she kept her feelings to herself. After all... Hiding her own feelings was something she did since she was a small girl. Something that was deeply etched into her personality.

Virais let out a muffled, "Mrrrra." sound as she hugged his long neck and held him close to her chest. He was wiggling feircely like he wanted to break free, but at the same time at any point she tried to loosen her grip he'd force his head and neck back into her chest like he couldn't make up his mind between wanting to readjust his position and still be held in her warm hug. Such a fickle beasty...

Though as she spoke he didn't relaly break free of his actions, instead just worming around in her arms as he too appeared to have bonded with her, but in a much more outwardly show of it. Like a dog with his favorite master, unwanting to be seperate from her.

Though before long he required freedom in order to better aquiant himself with his new best friend. WIggling free of her hug and sniffing the air around her, she smelled weird, like all descendants were weird, but she smelled extra weird like she was different from the others. In a certain sense... he liked it. But his curiousity wanted him to know more and before long he was pressing his nose against her ankle sniffing her lower leg to get a direct scent. Before long he unknowingly and rather abruptly raised his head sniffing up farther up her leg... and under her skirt in a place many people shouldn't go. In was in that very moment that something could be heard from between her legs, "You a girl!" As he exercised some of the little common tongue he did know. It was a little hard to tell sometimes with descendants, but now he at least knew that she was in fact a she!

Only when the small dragon started protesting, that Lila realized that she was hugging it, and a bit too strongly.  She started hugging it unconsciously. Why would she do such thing? There wasn't any reason to do so... She just... did it.
She was scared by that. It was a... warm and satisfying sensation. Something new to her. She had always lived alone, and for the first time, she had someone that cared about her. It wasn't a bad sensation, it was only different. She had never felt something like that, thats why she was a bit scared deep down inside.

She smiled to it when it stopped protesting, instead worming around her, almost like it was also hugging her. It was the first time she felt really loved. It was the first time that she felt that someone really cared and liked her.
As he broke free from her hug, she watched it as it sniffed the air around her, curious. It was probably trying to know her better, after all, the only thing he was able to smell until now was probably blood.

As it started to press its nose against her ankles, smelling her, she let out a sound that probably was the first time that Mirror had ever heard, something that she had never done before. She giggled.
The sound was surprisingly sweet and beautiful. It was almost impossible to say that it came from the same girl, the same beast, that was killing cultists with such ferocity a few moments before.
But as the dragon kept sniffing her, he raised his head, his nose pressing against her inner thigh going further and further, with his head under her skirt.

Just after hearing his voice, Lila immediately went red, blushing heavily, with a gasp. Giving a small step back and falling on the ground with her legs forming a 'W', pressing her hands against her skirt. Her face was almost burning with embarrassment as she stood there, without saying anything.

Virais still had his head up her skirt when she let out her gasp and fell back. Not entirely sure of why she had such a violent reaction and more than anything grew concerned for her health as that was not ok! Plus she fell! So to better make sure she was ok he wiggled his head around to her chest and again started to give her a neck hug, letting out repeated, "Mrra! Mrrwa! Murraw!" noises to help make sure she was ok and not hurt in any crazy new way. Truly though though through it all he hadn't even taken notice of Mirror as his attention was entirely focused on Lila.

A feral? It seemed so as it wiggled about in Lila's arms like a simple beast. It would maybe grow to be a steed? Mirror thought this was a good opportunity for Lila. Through out his time raising her he realized the long term ideal of his for all of his orphans was to grow up as close to happy as possible. Up until now he didn't know if Lila knew what happy even was.

Upon witnessing the little dragon sniff around Lila's apparals interior he found himself smiling a bit. But his smile faded as his eyes widened at Lilas reaction. A smile put on her face by more besides a proper feeding of angelic blood. The snow flakes fluttered in the wind behind him and over the three in a dazzling array of fading light particles.

He laughed out loud. It was indeed a strange thing to see and despite Lila's confusion he found her reaction to be the closest to normal she has ever been. He approached the dragon now and picked it up from behind. As it wiggled in his palms he shushed it with a smooth sound. "I heard you speak. So you're more than a feral. At least the start of something... must be pretty young."

He looked to Lila and back to the dragon. He sighed but looked happy despite how long the sigh was. "I guess I have no choice but to teach this... boy. How to be a proper... dragon." He spoke while inspecting Virias.

"A... Feral?" Lila asked, still looking down, embarrassed.
That would explain a lot of things. He was able to understand her, and even talk a little but not much. He was probably very young. If Mirror raised him... He would probably raise him to be a weapon or something like that, and that was not something that Lila wanted.

"No... P-please..." she said, getting up, slowly trying to recover her composure.
After a few seconds, she talked again.
"Let me raise him. Its my responsibility." she said, grabbing her scythe from the ground and looking to the small dragon.
"Do you... have a name?" she asked, looking at it.

Virias was far to busy giving Lila a neck hug to notice MIrror stalk up behind him much less grab his midriff and lift him away from his new best friend. Whining and comlaining the whole way as he was pulled back, trying to kick and wiggle his way out of his grip to return to Lila. Though after long enough he heard Mirror's words and craned his long neck around to see the source of the sounds. Looking into Mirror's eyes he blinked a few times before letting out another series of "Mrra! Mrrwa! Murrah! Chirrup! Chirrup! Mwararwa.... Mwa!"

At least that was for Mirror's first response at the second his wiggling slowed down and he seemed to be sitting more still, but that was quickly followed by a series of light growls and hisses as he spoke up once again, "I am real dragon!" His young and childlike voice coming out again and it seemed that this time Mirror had struck a nerve in the little guy. In that same moment he curled around his neck to give Mirror's forearm a firm chomp! Though it wasn't meant to drag blood, merely to give him a chance to escape and get back at him for that 'proper dragon' remark.

With his little tantrum out of the way though and free from the oppresive grip of the meanie head... he went back over to Lila curling around her sitting form and coiling his neck around her to continue his hug. It was then he heard her question, "I am Vi-Rias!" He answered, breaking up his name not because that's out it was pronounced but because his bad common made the phrase fall on syllables.

"Hmph.." Was Mirrors response to the aggressive bite the small dragon attempted on his arm. A firm little bite it was, perhaps too quick for the dragon to notice Mirrors flesh was not the same as a living creature. It left a cold in the mouth of the dragon, similar to biting into ice. Mirrors eyes didn't show a hint of change in his positive mood.

"You raising it...? I suppose. But I'll keep an eye on you both. Make sure everything is alright."  Mirror tilited his head to the dragons words speaking his name was quite a curious feat for a feral. "A feral with a name?" Mirror smirked as a small chuckle left his vocals.

"I guess that will make naming him easier." He lifted a finger to his chin in faux thought and winked at Virias. He then approached Lila and rested a hand on her head. "Let's head back home Lila." He patted her head and stepped past her and Virias and began slowly walking down the field.

Lila's eyes widened when Virias bit Mirror. She was already a little offset by the fact that she had questioned his orders, but when the small dragon bit him, she was almost certain that he would be very irritated with that. But what happened next, surprised her. He hadn't changed his good mood, even after Virias bit him like that.

Lila smiled at him when she heard his voice again. It was indeed a very young dragon.
"Virias..." she said, gently caressing him as he coiled around her neck. She was grateful that Mirror let her raise it, but apparently he would be a handful. It was still a very young dragon, but he already had quite the energy and temper, thing that became obvious after he bit Mirror's hand, trying to escape his grasp.

She had already questioned Mirror's decisions once that day, she didn't know if he was mad or not, but she was satisfied with how things went, so she wouldn't push her luck too much.
"As you wish, Mirror." she replied to him, following him.
As she continued walking, she couldn't help but let out a discreet smile, walking with Virias coiled around her.

But deep down inside, she knew that she was still a tool. Virias could not affect her performance, or dull her blade, otherwise they would take him away from her, or discard Lila.
"Nobody wants a dull blade..." she thought to herself, with the smile slowly disappearing, giving place to a emotionless expression.

Virias watched as Mirror and Lila had their interaction, content with just being pressed up against his new bestest friend. Though when they were done and moving on he felt as Lila moved away to follow the big meanie-head he quit coiling around her so feircely and instead settling for nuzzlingher leg as she walked, but that only lasted for a little while before he tripped her a few times and she accidentally kicked him in his chin.

He knew she wasn't trying to be mean though and instead he just walked besides her as she walked, but there was soemthing eating in his mind, "You Lila right?" He asked, not entirely sure of her name besides the fact that Mirror said that one a few times, but he was a meanie-head, so he'd rather hear her name from her.

Lila was so distracted with her own thoughts that she didn't realized when Virias tried to nuzzle her leg, kicking him accidentally.
"I'm sorry..." she said, kneeling near him for a second, gently patting his head before continuing walking.
"Yes. I'm Lila Moriarty." she said to Virias.
"The one in front of us is Mirror... I..." she stopped talking. She wasn't actually sure what Mirror was to her. She indeed followed his orders, but just like he had already said once, she only follows them out of her own free will. She wasn't bound to him by any contract, or anything, she was free to go whenever she wanted... So he couldnt be called her master...
"I... I follow his orders." she said, not having anything better to describe their relationship.

Rest Easy inn. Sunfire

The inn was rather empty and silent save for the whispering chatter from the few patrons at their tables. Service was understandably slow and the watchful eye of the guards made many feel uneasy. Magnus was approached by a waitress who was rather young. She was a early shift worker and didn't require the sunlight most Sol did in the mornings. She had small wings showing she was a seraphim. A daughter of Mirror just as Lila except she was made for service.
"Good morning sir! I'm Alisa! Pleased to serve you!"

Behind Magnus was Paon and Velai being questioned by the guard. Paon flashed him his identification card all whilst feigning blindness. Which the guard found a bit curious when he heard that he was seen running while carrying another. This suspicious alignment of details made him and the other guards glance to each other. "All this seems to be in order. May we ask you a few questions outside?" The guard pointed to the door where the other guards were standing ready to exit.

Velai brought her hand up and touched Paon's shirt sleeve. "My friend here was trying his best to save me and a child. Please he is hurt and in shock. Let me answer your questions." Velai knew that Paon could not be blind, but for whatever reason he hid his true nature was a mystery to her. But to repay him for his outstanding performance she caught on quick on how to be of help. The guard nodded despite a brief grimace in his face before the two departed from the inn and were visibly talking near the front of Rest Easy.

Soon after Paons shadow grew thicker under the fires light. It spread to be seen before Paon but only enough for him to see. The shadow room form under the dancing flames as a dragon head and a low laugh could be heard. "Kukukukuh.. So this is where number 13 spends his time? Rather light.." The deep but playful voice of a dragonkin emerged from behind Paon. There was Wasu and all his scaled form. He came down to sit next to Paon with a drink in hand. He sipped it as it was piping from steam. "Ahhh... what a fascinating night. It seems we the 47 of the Dolofon are having another meeting. A shadow gathering."

Wasu placed his cup on the ground before the flames and watched the hues change in color. "I have been tasked with rounding up those of you who are hard to find... So are you ready?"

In the Rest Easy, at the bar. Magnus heard a gentle voice and looked directly at the Waitress and gave a gentle smile. ”Alisa, it's good to see you again. I want some alcohol and the special,” Magnus said, with a gentle sigh. He had an annoyed look on his face but his smile was gentle among the entirety of the disappointment of not fighting in the battle. He remembered something else but couldn’t really put his finger on it. ”I dislike the memories…,” Magnus thought to himself, about living under the Crimson Family’s roof his own family.

Maria was flying towards the Gaia Library & Temple a bit faster since she feels a bit nervous. Her entire body goes dark and it started to pulse throughout her entire body as if it was slowly taking her over but it stopped and receded as quickly as it appeared. ”W-What… the?” Maria thought to herself, with a state of confusion. She knew there was something wrong with the spellbook she carries since it is pulsing more than normal.

A voice appeared in the back of her head and it was laughing at the same time. ”You… Are… the First… You… Won’t… be… the Last… He… conquered… in all… my… time…. trapped… within… this… book… The one… to stop… it… died…,” The voice telepathically said in the back of her mind. It had knowledge behind reasoning and it was protecting Maria from something far darker within the book. ”Maria… you… must… only… use… the terrible… power… you… gained against… The Evil Dragons… in the world,” The voice telepathically said in the back of her mind. The Voice slowly diminished and the pulsing evil was protecting her from a more powerful evil within the book with a slight hint of gray within her rainbow aura, in spots.

Maria had a deathly chill down her spine when the voice spoke about the Forbidden Spell. She had no idea who this being was but it felt nicer than the first time it spoke to her. Her entire body was shaken with nervousness. ”I-I have no idea… what’s going on with me… Who’s leading me where?” Maria thought to herself, with tears going down her face. She couldn’t really know what’s going on now and need answers quickly. She picked up her pace by flapping her wings much more than normal.

In Vrondi Capital, Zargoth was a bit away from the center of the capital city of the Solarians. It was going to take about like another 10 to 20 minutes at the most to get there. He felt the strangest thing in the air, as if a dark and evil pulsing was living throughout the entire planet but it faded after awhile. ”That is not good… good thing my daughter cannot feel those,” Zargoth thought to himself.

Yioplya was wide eyed and excited in seeing the city in all of its glory and in turn she was happy at this. She glanced back at her father who was a bit irritated at something or other. ”What’s wrong father?” Yioplya asked, with concern in her voice.

Zargoth looked down at his daughter and sighed. ”Daughter don’t concern yourself with it. It’s something I deal with most of the time,” Zargoth said. He wasn’t really interested in trying to teach his daughter the ability that he has within his soul, to sense something off, he has a long time to train himself for it but it only scratches the surface. ”Seraphim always better at this than I am… but I only use it to feel the winds or the air around me if it has changed or not… and it has definitely has,” Zargoth thought to himself, a bit less irritated. He glanced around his surroundings to see if anything is a matter and it looks normal in this city, it must have to do with his connection with Maria. ”I hope she isn’t in trouble… and I am not there to help her,” Zargoth thought to himself, annoyed slightly.

Yioplya heard what her father had said and gently gave out a sigh. ”I am enjoying our time together father, it's better than being in that dusty old cave for so long,” Yioplya said, happily. She had always been a bit dense on certain things but her magical training she is serious about it. She has never really questioned her father more than she needs to but she still wonders what her father is thinking about. ”I want to meet father’s father Bahamut,” Yioplya thought to herself, a bit curious in what her grandfather looks like on her father’s side.

Paon

Paon kept his gaze to the left of the guard. He did not react to the pointing, but a confused expression spread across his features. "Questions? Oh..o-okay sir" He was about to turn and thick step his way outside, but Velai touched his sleeve. He stopped and tilted his head, gaze never reaching her. He gave the barest of nods in response to what she was doing for him. His blindness was his best weapon...and if it was ever exposed he would lose it. And that would just be awful. He practiced so much on it after all.

Paon found a seat and sat, his eyes watching the fire, but in a way that did not give him away. He felt a small smile form before disappearing. "A shadow gathering? that sounds important" His voice held that hint of a purr the dolofon knew him to have. His eyes half lidded as he spoke. "Give me one moment" He slid a hand into his pocket before placing a rainbow opal where veal could find it. She had helped him and he had saved her...this made him feel almost a kinship toward her.

Paon pulled his hood up and nodded. "I am ready, but I will need to stop by my abode for a change in clothes...meeting in something with holes in it just won't do." Especially not when sleeth would be there. He walked to Wasu and nodded. He was basically ready. A shadow gathering could either be normal or there was some news of import. He rather hoped it was normal after the night he had.

“We will hurry over to the gathering place immediately. Those who fail to be there on time will undergo.. revisions of their status. Fear not!” Wasu raised a finger to pause Paon’s building worries or so he assumed. He made sure to turn his body to face the flames and so no other but Paon could see what was happening. He reached his right hand into his chest and darkness coated the outer surface. It was clear he was not going through his own body as his arm’s length went into the blackness and returned with a golden ticket. He held it out to Paon with a reptilian smile on his face, teeth protruding from his jaws.

He seemed to enjoy speaking with Paon. “Here. A tailor resides in Nero who will make any outfit you wish for with incredible haste. Use it once we are free.” With that handed to Paon he looked over to see where the guards once were. He looked at Paon with a confused scaled brow raised. “You were busy it seems. Let’s talk about it on our way there. Though it will be brief kukukuh..” The other patrons were not so wary of Paon now with Wasu there. However their eyes were soon blackened with complete darkness.

Even Magnus would be affected by the darkness blinding all but only for a brief moment. Paon was the only patron spared the robbery of his sight and was introduced to a spectacle of Wasu’s doing. In the blinded state everyone was in he tapped at the air as if he were knocking on a door. Then he reached his hand down and a rectangle of black with black, blue, and orchid fluctuations around its edges appeared. It soon formed entirely into a solid door of ebony with horrific depictions on its engravings. It opened and a black mist seeped out that revealed another room. “After you.”

All within the bar fell in panic. But soon after regaining their sight they looked around confused as to what just happened. Their eyes set on the fireplace and the absence of the two made it clear. Alisa finished taking Magnus’s order and was on her way to the kitchen when it happened. She fell on the ground and let out a scream in panic. Falling into a table and chair was also a loud testament to her pain. She upon regaining her sight wobbled up to her feet and was having trouble standing so she leaned against the bar next to Magnus. “W-what just happened?” She asked with a breathless voice and held her injured arm with her right hand.
@Landaus Five-One

Velai and the guards opened the doors and entered the bar. All were confused as to what happened but it was clear to some that Paon, and the other dragonkin that was with him were the culprits. Suspicion of Velai and her protection of Paon rose to more questions. Soon it was Velai who was suspected as a possible culprit and so the guards remained to question her further.

Neros Capital: Shadow Gathering Hall

There within the dimly lit room was the doorway opened. After Paon and Wasu went through it the door closed with a whispering eerie creek and a sound of locking could be heard behind them. Adorning the room were candles with yellow, green and blue flames. In the center sat a statue of a kneeling seraphim. His face gave a somber feeling of anguish yet he held his weapon strong. It was a symbol of the sacrifices the first seraphim made and the core belief of the Nayu that Seraphim blood is sacred and is meant to be used as sacrifices. To devour the seraphim and have their sacrificial blood sustain them was the foundation of descended kind and this is only a continuation of that path. Within the halls and surrounding the angelic statue were bodies of other descendants standing tall, or small.

The range of assassins that arrived filled the very spacious room but left enough for all to have arm length apart. At the center and before the statue was a shadowy mass with little light able to reflect off it’s surface. The silhouette began to speak and once it did all knew who it was. “We will begin shortly..” It was the calm yet sinister voice of Sleeth Kain Mythue the King of Nero and the leader of the Dolofon. The Dolofon members, the 47 that were chosen to be the best of all the affiliates were gathering here. It was many years since they were brought together like this. Last time it was for the assassination of the Queen of Tearia, what it would be now none could know.

Wasu merely lined next to a few others who were all mostly veiled in shadowy garments. A few wore flashy attire, likely assassins for hire that take fame from their work. He looked to see the few recognizable assassins within the top ranks of the 47. Him and Paon were a part of this few. The amount of assassins who either die or simply fail their missions and are replaced happens more often than the rain. It was only the few top rankings who made it to recognizable status within the 47. The number one spot being the King of Nero Sleeth.

Piotheit

Location: Nero

Footsteps seemed to echo through the cavern as a gentleman seemed to sauter through with flawless grace, whistling a rather upbeat tune in an area where death's veil seemed to lay like dew on the grass in Vrondi's morning sun. Brown leather boots trend along the cavern walkway with the occasional swish of the khaki colored pants. The figure adorned with a nice long sleeved white shirt, overlaid with a slightly longer azure and golden coat whose split tail flapped with every other footstep. In its hand a rather well maid looking box, designed in a deep redwood embellished by golden trim and accented with a few gems, ruby satin and silk fabrics. The hand that held this case was embellished with a few golden rings.

Its hair was white, short and seemed to bounce ever so slightly along the journey towards Nero's capital. His eyes glowed a dim silver as the dim light of the tunnel reflected off of his iris and quickly darted to the right as out of the shadows a cloaked figure stepped forward, a piece of parchment in hand, rolled and tied closed. He stepped forward and handed it to the figure who gave a pleasant smile.

"You know what you're doing, right? Nero isn't some jolly walk through Gaia, especially if you're looking for them..." The figure didn't even acknowledge the question as he untied the parchment, unrolled it and glanced over it but not before setting down the semi-large case. A bit of a toothy smirk etched on the side of its mouth. The cloaked figure stayed silent for a moment before speaking up.

"So...Piotheit...About the payment-" The silver haired figure glanced up from his parchment, his smile dropping ever so slightly.

"Look, it wasn't easy for me to get my hands on that information and I nearly died getting a hold of it. I want double of the initial offer..." The white-eyed figure stayed silent for another moment before nodding and put away the note before stepping away.

"He- Hey! Wait! What did I say! Grrrrrr....TAKE ANOTHER STEP AND ILL END YOUR WRETCHED LIFE WYRM!" Piotheit stopped, raising his head as he looked at the ceiling of the cavern.

"Ahhh...Very well. Sadly however, I gave you the last of my gold so I don't have much to offe-" His voice seemed to be as smooth as the sea yet held this aura around it. Young, spry and with a bit of wisdom and experience. He was mischievous and rather innocent in his words but the cloaked figure wasn't about to let him go.

"Empty your pockets..." Piotheit cocked his head to the side as the sound of a shtinnng could be heard from the cloaked figure drawing his short sword. Piotheit's posture changed as did his tone of voice with slight irritation leading the words.

"...Very well..." As he emptied his pocket, his right hand seemed to let off a light green light before fading away, causing the clocked swordsman to step forward, pointing his blade at Piotheit. He stopped and turned his head towards the figure with a light smile.

"Sorry, it was just a pocket of holding I activated. Not to worry....Ah...here it is." Carefully he removed his hand from his inner pocket and withdrew what appeared to be a small gold and red box with a dragon embellishing the top of it.

"What's that?" Piotheit's eyes widened ever so slightly as a bit of emotion escaped his usual eerie smile.

"This? What is this? This is one of my most prized possessions. A music box from a noble Seraphim family, forged from gold, Ashwood and embellished by ruby, violet and azure fabrics and gems. It should be worth the extra payment for your endeavors. But may I ask, before I hand it to you that I give it a listen one last time?" The cloaked figure stared at him for a moment before begrudgingly nodding. Piotheit gave a slight bow before cupping the bottom of it with his left hand and gentle held his other hand over the lid and opened it.

The silver haired man stared at the small angel that seemed to rotate on the platform. It was molded in a position that made it seem as if it was dancing in the air. As the sound echoed through the cavern, two small clicks were heard before the sound of small footsteps seemed to vanish into the darkness of the shadows. This caused the cloaked figure to flinch and spin around to see....

Nothing....

Nothing but the empty cavern that laid behind him. However, he looked closer and his eyes widened. The case that the white haired man was carrying was not open and empty. Inside of it, there seemed to be a molding for a small figure but he couldn't be sure.

"Music-" The cloaked figure turned around to face Piotheit, eyes narrowed.

"You have to admire music. The synchronization of strings, pipes, brass or percussion. It's art. The box that I hold in my hand is another form of art. The intricacy of its design and the effort it took to make sure each side was symmetrical. Even making sure the little bumpy roller inside is tuned to the right notes takes time. It takes skilled hands to make such a piece. The simple and sometimes overlooked life of an artist." He looked up at the cloaked figure with a new look and this new look caused the cloaked figure to flinch. Slowly, Piotheit began to move towards him.

"You see. I am a bit of an artist myself but my art comes in a different form, a rather, unorthodox form to say the least. A form that took years upon years of preparation and dedication to perfect. I found my inspiration from a little Nayu Girl some time long ago." The cloaked figure started to move back, away from Piotheit.

"I saw her with a seraphim. She had taken out one of my procurers with swift haste and I found myself in awe with her. So I set out to make something similar. It took time but I managed to acquire my own. It took time to make but I had perfected her." His eyes seemed to go from a dim white to a lunar with wisps of ethereal like smoke in the corners of his eyes. Soon Piotheit was in front of him but the man couldn't move, paralyzed in fear.

"Isabelle....Would you care to do the honor please?" With what could only be described as the sound of bending metal, a rather large scythe escaped the darkness from the side of the cloaked figure, with the tip of the blade barely grazing Piotheit's nose before lobbing off the figure's head. As it passed through the skin, the figure inhaled deeply as the light quickly left its eyes, along with its soul which entered into the scythe's edge. immediately afterwards, in the darkness off to the side, to small white eyes seemed to glow for a moment before fading with the sound of falling woods and metals.

"Ah, there you are Isabelle. Please, hurry along, we have a bit of a trip ahead of us." He said as he glanced back over at his case, small fingers closing it behind him. His smile remained on the case before he looked back at the decapitated figure with a condescending look before withdrawing a small emerald.

"Maybe next time you ask for a raise it will be to a necromancer...Come Isabelle, we have much work to be done." He pivoted on his heels before walking over to his case and picking it up, continuing on towards the Capital of Nero. The upbeat tune once again filling the cavern pathway as his sounds faded into the tunnel.

Fenix Blyze: Skies of Vrondi

@Deos Morran

Magnixx sat before his royal countrymen on a high seat with his back and hind tilted forward and a look of deep thought on his expression. For it was not out of sight within the large room to see the new day being brought into the souls of those who greeted it on this airship. A great airship it was indeed. Forged through the intellect of the Fotian engineers who mastered the use of heat to elevate objects not merely through manipulations. The laws of the world grew less and less a mystery to descendants and Fotians were one of the worlds top achievers. As so was this young descendant. Magnixx looked down with golden eyes and did not change his expression until after glancing to his side.

There stood a man who was clearly a right hand to Magnixx. Spear in hand this man gave a narrow stare to the newcomer before speaking with a well pitched voice of proper dialect that matched the allure of royalty. "You are welcome. And who are you again?" His head tilted a bit and Magnixx leaned back in his seat and watched with disinterested eyes down at Blyze.

Blyze looked up to his host and the apparent young one beside him. His position was clear and given his attitude it would be a simple matter to find that he held it to code. Regardless of the lack of a welcomed response he still maintained his posture, not wanting to offend his already disinterested host. Instead he merely maintained his tone and composure to give his response, ”I am Fenix Lyranis, better known as Blyze the 10th Trekker Champion and reigning title holder for the upcoming 11th Trekker Championship.”

Magnixx nodded to Blyze and the man next to him lifted his hand up slowly before returning to to his side. “You may rise Champion. You bring pride to the Fotian nation. You are a welcomed guest. Apologies for not recognizing you earlier.” Magnixx nodded in approval. His lips parted before his baritone voice rang out. As he spoke many couldn't help but to take notice. “I wish you well on the next

race. I look forward to watching another Fotian victory.” He smiled as he spoke this and gave Blyze a pleased expression.

Fenix rose when told to and once upon his feet he heard the words of both Magnixx and his right hand before giving another bow from his standing position to the king, ”I thank you my king and with all due respect to you and your position. I do not intend to lose, nor do I intend to do anything but bring credit and glory to the Fotian people.” With his words complete he rose from his secondary bow.

At the end of his small event he stood proud not only before his king, but also the gathered crowd, not wanting to go against his words and act as an uncultured brute among such a high brow crowd. Though at the look of both the king and his second the thought of shedding some layers came to his mind. Though to request such a foolish thing in front of so many faces would probably again be a rather shameful thing to do.

Magnixx smirked. Blyze response intrigued him. “Yes that is what I like to hear!” His voice neared to a shout. The Royals looked a bit alarmed but all knew this was how their King was. Out of all the Royals Magnixx had an air of earthy warrior like aura. Yet tamed enough to adorn the jewels and silks that decorated him. His right hand nodded to his Kings response. “That other racer however.. that Lassa of Tearia. His name escapes me. What will you do about him?” His eyes met Blyzes as he judged his response.

Fenix, still addressing his royal audience smiled at Magnixx’s boisterous response. This was a king he learned to respect and honor. ”I believe you mean Wave my lord. He is the Wave of Tearia and I will show him what happens when a fish leaves the water and while he’s flopping around, I’ll be claiming first place for Fotia. After all how good can gills be in a run?” He said, confidence spilling from his mouth so to better give his leige a grasp on how well placed his confidence was.

“Well spoken.” He turned and looked to a Tyro maid who wore few clothing. White and crimson covered her front and back but her brown even toned skin was bare. Her long curling twists covered her chest however. She had in her hands a golden plate with a glass of clear liquid. Given to the king he poured half the cup into his jaws.

“Continue to enjoy the pleasantries. I recommend the view.” He eased in his seat but remained postured, eyes returning to the distant wall windows that showed the Edafos down below.

”I thank you my lord.” Fenix stated, walking from his position taking Magnixx’s final words as a dismissal and not wanting to remain on the metaphorical firing line for longer than he needed. Instead he joined the festivities and that included the… ‘view’ as the King of Fotia so elegantly put it, gazing upon the beauty laid out before him and with some luck his meeting with the king had given him some fame with the local ladies. After all, he had the cream of the crop before him.

Taking his chance he walked up to some young noble ladies, trying to spark up a conversation in the hopes of some company for the day, ”So I must ask… What brings such a fine wonder of ladies together in such a… well let’s call it what it is, a lavish flying estate of debauchery.” His moves perhaps lacking a tad, but maybe his name would speak a bit more loudly. After all it was his only chance.

The six women all stood with their own royal attire on however it revealed what delicate flesh they could show without taking away from their high born air. A few were of obvious mixed blood but the Tyro in them was prominent. They looked to each other, a few smirking at his questioning. “Our families blood demands most of us be here. Though it is fun to see the airship.” One spoke out as she looked at the window through to the fading clouds and approaching structures. It seemed it was not too long until landing. The others nodded but most seemed interested in who Blyze would pay attention to.

Fenix saw the collection of beauty before him and while one spoke up about blood he couldn’t help but agree. He wasn’t even here of his own choice and while that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, he knew what it was like to be here at the behest of another with greater standing.

He walked up to the edge of the window, looking out to see the beautiful expanse of land that was quickly stretching out before him. Without the great cloud sea beneath the ship it would be easy enough to think that they were almost at their destination. Though until that happened, he turned to face the ladies again and spoke up, ”Well I know that sense. I’m here due to another as well, but perhaps we shouldn’t talk about me. I wish to know more about you all.” He started, not wanting to show off his… substantial player’s moves… because they are obviously perfect…

His attention wasn’t well focused on any one girl just yet as he really hadn’t had much social interaction with them just yet. So as he waited for response he did take a rather shallow fancy to two in particular, one of which had the most beautiful fiery red hair.

Blyze’s proximity to the two he had been most focused on were in the four that he was closest two. The red haired one was medium height and the one that spoke was a bit taller. The group had a mixed reaction but most giggled. ”I'm a royal soldier by day. But today I'm a guest. My name is Rena. Im a second cousin to The kings family.” The one that spoke earlier chimed. The others spoke their occupation. The fiery haired one saying she is a performer and a friend of the King’s family. ”Its a pleasure to meet you. Its the first time I've met our racing Champion.” The fiery haired one spoke with eloquence.

Fenix listened to the lovely ladies and about their chosen jobs. One was a fighter and the other a performer… two great fields to be in. ”A performer! What is your art if you don’t mind me asking?” He asked with a cheery attitude, clearly interested in her response. ”And I don’t know if I’d think I’m so special. But I’m glad that you got to meet me, because that means I got to meet you.” He finished with,, stepping a little closer to the fiery haired woman who hadn’t given her name. Yet he wasn’t just going to ignore the other, ”A pleasure Rena and I’m quite glad to make your acquaintance.”

The other women began to lose interest as Blyze laid his words directly to Rena and the red haired one. ”Maybe you've heard of me. I am Lorain. A flame enchantress.” She said before sipping her red wine. Her cheeks growing pink. ”My art is the flame.” ”Lorain is quite the master at fire manipulating.” Rena spoke smiling to her friend who nodded with gratitude.

”Tell us more about you, Blyze. Its not often a champion graces us.” As they continued speaking they walked somewhere more private. Each with a drink in hand and growing more amused by Blyze and his flirting.

Paon

Paon quirked a brow as Wasu spoke. The brow managed to raise higher as he found a finger raised to pause any worries he was assumed to have. He managed a head shake as Wasu seemed to reach into his own body to hold out a golden colored ticket. He cautiously took the paper and glanced at it as it was explained what exactly it was. Apparently it was a ticket for a tailor. A look of appreciation crossed his features at the thought of new clothing. He was definitely in need of a new outfit. Not that the clothing he was currently wearing was his only outfit, but he did have a tendency to make his own clothes and...well he knew he wasn't quite the best at it.

Paon managed the barest of shrugs as he stored the ticket in a safe pocket. "Only somewhat busy." He then got to view the patrons eyes darkening and knew very well what was happening. They were being robbed of their sight. True blindness instead of a pseudo blindness. He rolled his neck and looked straight on at Wasu for the first time since he got there. Some of the assassins knew he was not actually blind...others figured it out. Though, not matter how hard they tried to get Paon to come out of his acting...he never did when others were there.

Paon watched was tap the air as if knocking on a door and tilted his head. He watched the door form and stood. He looked at the door almost admiring the colors and engravings. Clearly, he was odd enough to find something pretty in something so odd. He looked at Wasu and gave a nod. "Alright." He silently then took his step into the abyss.

Paon gave a glance at the door behind him as it seemingly disappeared. He always did enjoy watching magic...probably because he had none of his own. His head turning to look in front of him, he walked forward. His eyes took in the room he was in and stopped on the statue for a moment. His attention was soon captured by the sight of the other assassins. He was suddenly very aware of the holes in his shirt. The slice on his shoulder made it clear he had gotten into a fight...hopefully no one here would notice that.

Paon found himself in the tight space with the others, his attention however was then fully captured by a singular voice. Sleeth's voice. A voice he always enjoyed listening too...which was probably odd to most. Where many heard a sister edge, he heard the calm. The voice reminded him of a dagger...something beautiful that could very easily cut. He could see the others out of the corners of his eyes and really wanted to change, but if he left he'd probably die...or get kicked out. So he stayed.

Vrondi: Sunfire: Rest Easy Bar & Inn:
Interactions: Mirror, Lila, Virias, Velai, Magnus & Alisa

Returning to the path that led to Sunfire meant reviewing the remaining survivors of the night and their conditions. Needless to say they were bad. Both mentally and physically scarred as they were seen helping one another march downward to the separate paths that led to their homes. Most outside of Sunfire and the capital.

Many fought for citizenship and would be awarded such once word of their survival was made to the capital. So onward they traveled, very few using steeds. Amongst them was Animus. His steed was still strong beneath his slumped body which was practically tied to the beast. Mirror emerged from the brush onto the path with Lila and Virias.

It was a tough battle. Lila could smell all the blood in the air. The foul smell of the cultists' blood mixed with the sweet smell of normal, crimson red blood. It was... Hard to resist. But now it was different. She had someone there with her, she had someone that really cared about her. As long as Virias was there with her, she would try her hardest to control herself.

Thankfully, Mirror was already taking them away. It was for better, it didn't matter how big Lila's willpower was, the hunger would eventually win. Lila didn't want that to happen again. That was why she didn't like to fight near Mirror. Sure, he knew very well what happened when she tasted blood, after all, it was exactly that that made her so lethal.

She was always told that her reactions were incredibly unsightly, the hot sensation she felt on her body, the lust for blood… The seraphim always told her that it was a sin, but it felt so good... But before she could think more about that, she saw Mirror nodding to Animus. They were going to the city, she had to control herself.

Upon noticing Animus Mirror gave him a brief nod of respect. A Sol truly was a Seraphim's best friend. Like brothers they fought with intentions linked and no other two bloodlines met with such acceptance and understanding. It was almost like they were meant to be together. Many wondered but it seems to be so, however the Sol protect the seraphim and as such Mirror owed them so much.

The sunlight met his gaze and he glared at it before turning back to see those that followed him still coming with haste. He made a steed available through rank and gave one to Lila to sit on with Virias. He guided the beast as they strolled before leaping onto it and placing Lila's arms around him before having it speed down the path toward Sunfire.

As Mirror offered her and Virias a horse, Lila got a bit confused about why Mirror resolved to do that for her... After all, she could walk normally, she wasn't hurt... Tired, yes, but not hurt. To do such thing for a mere tool...
But an offer is an offer, and she wouldn't refuse that one, especially because it came from Mirror.

After a few seconds only guiding the horse, Mirror leapt onto it, putting her arms around him and immediately speeding towards Sunfire. Lila was still too concentrated in the smell of blood that filled the air to realize that, but as soon as they got away from the battlefield, she quickly withdrew her arms from Mirror's waist. It was... weird, uncomfortable. She didn't knew how to react to that, touch others and being touched.

When the horse was offered to Lila and Virias the young dragon looked at it and while he wasn’t exactly sure of his size, he knew that three bodies for a single horse and one of whom was over 11 feet in length would be too much. So instead he watched as Lila mounted up, using his head to assist her in getting up. From there it was a simple thing to merely run alongside the steed, traveling with his new best friend to town.

The gates flung open to let Mirror in and he charged down the empty streets. The people were just waking and taking in the sunlight at their front porches. They wondered what was happening and the word Mirror was often muttered in low anxious conversation.

On the first floor of the bar, Magnus was highly confused and annoyed at the fact of the spell that was casted. He was blinded by it and couldn’t really tell where Alisa is at. His smile turned into a grimace. ”Could be something bad is probably brewing, somewhere in the world and that’s not good,” Magnus said. The only good thing about him at least he was sitting at the bar.

It was soon Mirror was on the second floor where the bar was. He was immediately told of what had transpired. Ziton was there earlier and ransacked his room. Lila saw an anger well up in Mirror. His aura pierced her mind like an icicle and made skin shiver. Virias the young dragon would only sense Lila's reaction.

It was a weird thing. He didn’t know what was happening to the big meanie, but he didn’t really care. The part that Virias did care about however was how it affected Lila who did not seem to be in a good way from it. Letting out a sharp, ”Mrraup!” to try and learn what was going on by attracting attention to himself. Though it didn’t seem to change much as they continued on their path and before long reached their destination.

After they got on the bar, it was obvious that something happened. Lila heard what the guards said to Mirror, and felt his reaction. She could clearly feel Mirror's anger, cold and piercing, it made her flinch, as she felt a shiver going down her spine. She had never seen Mirror that angry before. But she didn't know anything about what happened there, so she couldn't really help much regarding that matter. The only thing she could do was listen.

The door of the bar was opened and Mirror stepped within. The guards held the door open for Lila and questioned the dragon she held near her. “What breed is That? Perhaps a mutt.” Mirror turned to Lila. ”Come with me to a room I have for you. I'll be next door.” With that said he went up the staircase and to his room where Velai was standing with two guards. ”I'm telling you I don't know who that guy was!” She could be heard screaming at the guards who grew visibly more impatient.

Virias was busy sticking to Lila like glue, though he wasn’t deafened by his acts and when the guard called him a mutt… that would be his last mistake. Virias froze mid stride after Lila and glanced at the guard in question with a side eye. Growling in turn before he picked up his stride again. Though on his way past he whipped his long tail around to strike between the guard’s legs.

As they got inside the bar, Lila couldn't help but hear the guards asking Virias' breed, calling it a 'mutt'... Lila held Virias a little closer to her, ignoring the guards, after all, she was already used to insults and things like that. It was only expected that they would do the same to anything or anyone that was related to her.
She had never gave attention about those insults before, but for the first time, she got angry by what they said. Maybe it was because they said something about Virias, and not her... But the annoyed expression in her face showed clearly enough that she was angry about that.

"A room... Thank you. I shall rest for a little while and wait for your next orders." Lila said, looking down. She couldn't help but let out a discreet smile as she held Virias.
Before Lila could enter her room, she heard a very familiar voice coming from Mirror's room as he opened it. It was Velai. She was visibly irritated as the guards continued asking her questions.

Their attention was quickly grasped by Mirror and by his mere presence and also Lila who was right behind him at the stairs. “M-Mirror! This girl works for You? She's being suspicio-” ”I'll handle it. You may go. This is as far as your abilities can get you.” Mirror gestured a dismissal and the guards, though feeling a bit disrespected, went on anyway and left the entire bar.

Mirror looked at Velai and shot her a glare. ”We will talk about this later. I have damage to assess. Now. Feed Lila, and make it fresh.” He snapped his finger before pivoting on his heel and heading for his door and disappearing inside of it. A growling yell could be heard from him once he was in. Velai merely looked down sheepishly and looked up to see Lila and her dragon. ”H-hello Lila. I'm glad you're ok. Who is your friend?”

Suspicious... Of course she was suspicious... She was the only pureblood nayu in a city full of seraphim and sol...
Lila watched quietly as Mirror dismissed the guards. As soon as Mirror said to Velai to feed her, Lila immediately looked at him, and after he went away, to Velai, as she approached her. Lila's fangs were showing a little bit, she was tired and hungry, after Mirror said about feeding her, it was almost a natural reflex. But before she could do or said anything, she heard Mirror's growling yell coming from inside his room. That yell caught Lila unprepared, and made her flinch a bit, retracting her fangs again.

Much like Lila Virias startled by the yell, dropping to the ground and growing still like a startled animal ready to defend itself or run should the threat it detected was too much to take on. Though that quickly faded as he gathered himself like Lila had.

"His name is Virias... I don't know very well... He was on the battlefield with me and simply refused to leave me alone... He seemed to be somehow worried about me." Lila said, still a little confused about the dragon and the warm feelings she had, but once again, she couldn't help but let out a discreet smile.

As his new friend talked about him Virias walked back over to her, nuzzling against her arm to gather more attention and show his affection. At the mention of his name he once again let out a, ”Chirrua! Chirrua!” licking her hand following his outburst, but to seemingly be more annoying he nipped at her fingers and tugged at them, playing with her hand as she spoke to this new stranger.

Velai immediately came to an understanding of why this dragon was with Lila. It was only not too long ago she saw Lila barely crack a smile to compliments. Now she seemed at peace with something so affectionate. This warm scene helped ease Velai’s stress for what came next.

Lila couldn't help but let out a small surprised exclamation as Virias started playing with her hands. The young dragon was sure full of energy, but Lila wasn't annoyed by that, she was still a little intrigued about why that small dragon had become so attached to her.
Gently hugging it, she caressed it to calm it down. Velai appeared to be a little less comfortable when she saw that scene. She knew how Velai felt about the whole... Nayu thing.

”Come with me.”
Velai made her way down the hall and opened a door to a room with a operation table and medical supplies. She rummaged through some cabinets before taking out a syringe. She held it to herself after prepping a few bottles next to her,one of which was empty. Then she plunged it into her arm and began to draw blood from her arm into the syringe and then into a bottle.

Lila could clearly feel Velai's nervousness as she walked. She always was so nervous around Lila when she was feeding. But that was expected. Being a seraphim, Lila was sure that Velai had never seen a Nayu before, especially due to Velai's reactions whenever she saw her drinking blood. But she couldn't do anything about it, she was a Nayu after all... She needed to drink blood.

"I know you don't like this. But you don't need to fear me, I won't drink your blood without your consent." Lila said, as Velai took a syringe out of the cabinet.

"When I drink fresh blood I... I can feel your feelings, emotions and your recent memories at that moment." Lila said as she started to bandage her arm.

This took only a moment but after she was done a glass of Velai’s blood was presented to Lila. Velai had her arm wrapped in bandages but she seemed to be in no pain. ”Here.”
She handed it to Lila with a sheepish look, not sure yet how to feel about the blood drinking nature of the Nayu.

"I just thought that you should know about it. I can't control it. I was born with this trait. Thats why fresh blood tastes better. I can experience things that normally I wouldn't. I can feel the taste of certain emotions on it... Cold, old blood has a much more... bland taste compared to it." Lila said, awkwardly, before taking the glass from her hand. She hoped that if Velai understood a bit more about the Nayu and Lila herself, she wouldn't be so scared and alarmed whenever she saw Lila feeding.

Taking the glass from Velai's hand, Lila could immediately feel the warm blood on it. It was so warm, so fresh... As she put her mouth on it, a small sound could be heard when her fangs touched the glass. Velai smiled at Lila but it was a facade hiding her deeper despair. By drinking her blood Lila will know what happened with Ziton and Paon. This way they could share a connection. ”Then keep my memories a secret between us.. I trust you.” She whispered with a finger to her lips.

"I never tell anyone what I see and feel when I drink others' blood. If they offered their blood to me voluntarily, it would be wrong... But even if it was the blood from one of my marks... Even if I wanted to talk about it to someone, who would listen to me? Who would listen to a monster? Besides Mirror, only very few people know about this ability I have..." she said looking down.

Virais looked at the exchange and while the trade of blood didn’t bother him the feelings did. He wasn’t aware of this Nayu nonsense, but the awkward exchange did set him off and that is what made him to be so active in this moment. Running up to Lila and nuzzling her chest and belly so fervently that one would almost expect him to be sabotaging this exchange. Letting out several. ”Chirrup! Mrrwa! Mrrwa! Mrrwarrarwa!” noises to try and gather enough information as to what was going on… and try to get more hugs from Lila… but his ego was in fact primary, so he needed the attention. But at the secondary was the fact he sensed all the uneasy feelings of this strange exchange.

"I'm here, don't worry." Lila said, hugging Virias as he jumped on her even before she could taste the blood, almost spilling it. Was he trying to prevent her to drink blood? Maybe he was thinking that she would lose control again, like before?

"I... I won't lose control again, Virias. Not here. Not now. Don't worry. But I need to drink it, I need to feed myself." Lila said, caressing the young dragon.

Velai looked puzzled at the dragon. She did not know about feral dragon intelligence and assumed they were all pretty unintelligent. She sighed at the beast crying for Lila and wiped the strands of hair from her forehead. ”You need to try taming it.” Velai said with a bit of the sighing in her voice. She clapped her hands. ”We can feed it when it does the right thing! There's meat in the kitchen.” She said with a cheery tone. She knelt down to Virias and looked at him with a soft voice she asked. ”Would you like that?”

"Taming it? I... didn't think about that..." Lila said to Velai, after her suggestion.
"Meat could work but... He seems to be intelligent. He was the one who told me that his name was Virias. Maybe he is just very young?" Lila said, confused. She didn't know much about dragons, she had never studied much about them.

Virias seemed to calm down a good deal when Lila gave him the hug he was chirping for. Slowing with his wiggles and nuzzles to let her wrap her arms around him. It was also a comfort to hear her say that she wouldn’t lose control again. She was scary when she was like that.

It was about then that the other girl started talking. He didn’t know her, but she seemed ok, if maybe a little weird. Taming? He didn’t even know what a kitchen was, but that talk of meat… now that was a good idea. Wiggling from Lila to let her drink her blood, which was weird in and of itself, he wiggled his head up at her’s as she knelt down beside him, sniffing her face without a care for her personal space. Though that seemed to satisfy him so he gave her face a quick lick before proclaiming, ”I like meat! It tasty!” In his normal young sounding voice. ”I am inte… intell… smart!” He proudly proclaimed back to Lila in closing at her comment.

The black skeleton, massive in size, tore through the ground as it crawled toward Soron. It's mouth released trails of black smog as it rushed forward with abandon. It barreled forward and attempted to bite into Soron.

Ariel quickly grasped the back of Soron’s armor as she flew up in an arch away from the figure.

”Ariel! What are you doing! I’m not running!”

“You're not. Get yourself together Soron or else I'm feeding you to that thing...” He glanced up at her in confusion before he smirked. She had flown high enough to where she believed the figure couldn’t reach them.

“Soron, listen. We have to make a plan and I have an idea. Can you make that thing again?” She said quickly. Soron looked up in confusion.

”What thing?”

“The basilisk that you used to destroy those dragons before.” He remembered. He wasn’t actually sure how he did that. He shook his head.

”I don’t remember how I did that.”

The massive skeletal creature turned upward after Soron and Ariel avoided it's jaws. The smog enveloped it's surrounding area and began to rise to cover its entire form with a large dome of black and grey slow moving mist. The dragon above made of cloud and storm broke free of one of the chains. As the chain whipped through the air it released a stream of lightning within the smog.

A dragons soul is a worthy prize

Echoed the deep enigmatic voice through the smog. Rising from the smog was a body made of black mist that surged with lightning within its form. The skeleton serves as a foundation for the form of a man that took shape before the two descended. Though it was hard to make out it appeared to be a slender long haired man with angelic wings. The height was still massive however.

’Dragon’s soul…’ He squinted his eyes at the figure as a flash of black crossed his eyes, within them, slit pupils flashed at the figure with boiling rage and predatory instinct. Its gaze, for as brief as it was, registered the figure. Unbeknownst to Soron but what the figure could see, was a rather black, behemoth of Basilisk, its curved, razor-like teeth gnashing at the figure, its lips curled back in a snarl as it hissed with the sound of a heavy rainfall. Ariel flew back further to set themselves down.

’Dragon’s soul…’ He uttered again, the words escaping the mouth and echoing in the air. He glanced back up, a new resolve in his eyes and a flicker of white slit pupils. Inside he could feel something bubbling, wanting to break the surface and let loose on what was in front of him. Currentl, it was locked, behind his own pysche. If he wasto make it through this, he would need to remember. Remember his training with the Sureiya and his time as a slayer, otherwise, it would be all for naught.

Mindah Tarvitaan: Hall of Fate

The sound of the cane clacking against the marble flooring echoed through the halls of the temple, reaching the rather large hall that was at the heart of the Mindah Tarvitaan itself. Each passageway leading to another new area of the temple. From zen gardens, training areas to sleeping quarters and the schoolrooms. The stonework and columns that rose to the ceiling were embellished by red and gold design and accompanied by tapestries of the temple symbol. Currently, there were a few monks roaming about the hall as Qobo entered with Sophia, to which those inside stopped their work and bowed, earning a bow in return from Qobo and Sophia. Qobo glanced towards another elder monk. Despite this monk being of old age, he didn’t show it as much as Qobo did. His bald head and hairless face gave a light nod to Qobo. It was a Nayu man, not as old as Qobo but having still a bit of youth within hidden behind a rather stoic face.

Gathering the other elder monks wasn't that hard, especially after Sophia told them what they would do. Some of the elder monks were already preparing the altar, while others were getting some grimoires and scrolls to help with the enchantment. They would soon be there. Qobo was very powerful, more powerful than many descended could ever hope to be, but he wasn't immortal. And he was already far older than a normal descended should be. Using that spell once more, could be rather dangerous.

Sophia knew very well how stubborn he could be. Maybe the other elder monks could help to convince him to not do it, but it was only a gamble. Sophia was sure that the other elder monks would surely offer part of their souls, so Qobo wouldn't need to, after all, he had already performed that spell many times before...
As she walked inside the room together with Qobo on her shapeshifted form, she saw Temeir, one of the other elder monks. Hopefully, he would have something to say to Qobo as well.

“Master Qobo...”

”Master Temeir. How are you” Temeir sighed with a nod before gesturing towards about four other monks who were tending to the columns.

“Finishing the preparations...But, Master Qobo, may I ask something of you?” He asked with a bit of curiosity as Qobo raised his brows in anticipation.

As soon as Temeir said those words, Sophia looked at Qobo, waiting for an answer. If Temeir didn’t talk, Sophia would. Even though Qobo was a very wise monk, Sophia wasn’t very comfortable with him doing such reckless actions. Even if it was for helping someone.

”Asking is a part of learning Temeir. What is it that you wish to ask?” Qobo responded. Temeir looked towards Sophia knowingly and gave a subtle nod.

“As you are our Grand Master and have performed this many of times. It goes without saying that you are the most skilled for this task.” Qobo’s facial expression slowly began to change to that of slight confusion..

“I simply wish that you allow us, your peers, to assist you in this process.” Qobo looked down to the floor with a nod before the faint outline of his tongue, slid along the front of his mouth in slight annoyance.

”Master Temeir I am having you assist me in this ritual.” His voice held the annoyance that was slowly growing in him. He went to speak up again before Sophia intervened.

“Qobo.” Sophia said, interrupting them with a serious voice.
“I asked the other elder monks to maybe try to talk to you, but you are as stubborn as always…” Sophia said, looking to him with an annoyed expression.

“You are wise, Qobo. Wiser than many descended can ever hope to be, but you are still as reckless as the day I met you. Sooner or later, you will need to face the fact that you are not immortal. Even with all your power. Mindah Taarvitan needs you. The other monks, everyone here still have many things to learn from you, and you still have many things to learn from me.” Sophia said, looking to his eyes.

“Master Qobo, we are your brothers, your sisters. We lift each other up. Each one of us like the stones of this temple, Should one of us be removed, we all fall. You were the one that taught me this when I was but a young boy.” Temeir added with concern. Qobo stayed quiet and simply listened, hearing not only Sophia and Temeir, but the other monks that began to fill into the hall.

“Ultimately, the decision is yours, but you need to remember that you also have responsibilities towards the temple and the monks who live here. This spell can prove to be dangerous to you if you perform it once more, Qobo. Listen to my words.” Sophia said, looking to him.
“You still need to appoint a successor, Qobo.” she said, serious. Even though Sophia had taken Mindah Tarvitaan under her protection, and agreed to share her knowledge with them, Mindah Tarvitaan was still separate from the Great Library, especially regarding the elder monks and the council which dictated its actions.

Qobo stayed silent for some time. He closed his eyes and simply began to use breathing exercises as he thought about it. However, if Sophia looked closely, she would see the sudden shift of his foot and his finger ever-so-slightly tapping the cane. It was a sign that, when he was younger, he had caved to the pressure. He cleared his throat and looked to Temeir with a thin smile and a voice that showed his rather begrudging, youthful acceptance to this.

”Very well... i will need you and 3 others to help me perform this. You will need to be able to access the Inward Eye in order to help me. Create a few wind and magic channel runes and place them on each side of the altar, from there I will need you to gather the body of “Soron” and place him on top of it. Search his belongings for something that has a part of him attached to it whether it is his blade, pouch of coin, medallion or something that could be a possibility.” Temeir bowed and as Qobo did, he looked up to her with a wink before disappearing in a wisp of smoke.

“Qobo,” Sophia called him after Temeir disappeared.

“This spell needs a lot of magical power. You have already performed it before, you know how taxing and exhausting it can be. Especially now that we are bringing someone back. If something goes wrong, anything, maybe the other monks get too tired to be able to sustain the portal, or anything, I will intervene. You are one of the few that know how much power I really have.”  Sophia said, looking to him. She didn’t want to say it now, but if something went wrong, she was going to summon the Grimorium Verum. Even if it was dangerous, she wouldn’t let the monks in danger and not do anything.

High above the Temple and Library in the Gaian Mountains, Maria was circling the area trying to figure out the best way to land. She could feel a bit of excitement because she somewhat remembered passing by this place along time ago. Her rainbow aura was shining much brighter than normal since she hoped this place had the knowledge she seeks to uncurse Zargoth and herself. It feels peaceful on this mountain top I dont know what this place holds or who is here,” Maria thought to herself. She was still circling around high above the place but her rainbow aura was shining as if it is a beacon to all that is below, and it casted rainbows in all directions from her as well.

Maria had never really approached this place before, because she felt a feeling of dread when she passed over it along time ago. She slowly flew down gently, her rainbow aura was glowing brighter and all the grey patches slowly faded into a brighter color. Her flight was beautiful but she could notice closer in that there was damage. Her body language was a bit nervous when she saw that. I-I hope nothing bad happened to this place Maria thought to herself. She couldn’t really tell anything in the cold wind from this far up, and she enjoyed being in the cold or heat since her body temperature is different. The rainbows were getting more concise and dense in til one massive rainbow went over the Library and Temple.

She lands on the outskirts of the temple, gently as one could for the size she is. Her glowing aura was brighter on the snow than it was high up in the sky, it was mostly because snow reflects light. She looks around for a bit and shapeshifts into her humanoid form, even though the landing probably did worry people. T-This place is peaceful wish I could say the same for the past Maria thought to herself, tearing up a bit. Her shapeshifted form did shiver a bit mostly because of a chill down her spine..

A voice echoes, in her head and it was slightly different than it was. ”How… curious… trying to get rid of us? It seems… like you grasp…. Knowledge… that you… are curious… to,” The Spectre telepathically said in her head. The Spectre looked at Maria a bit more serious and had a smile on it’s creepy face. It was grateful that she couldn’t see it. It put one of its hands close to its face and thinks for a minute. ”Most Interesting… Princess… You will have to try harder…,” The Spectre telepathically said in her head.

Maria’s chill down her spine got worse with the last thing heard from the thing she’s haunted by. ”I-I will try,” Maria said, sheepish, softly and shivering a bit from the chill down her spine. She doesn’t understand the thing that speaks to her and it changes its voice constantly. Her rainbow aura, that was full blown sun mode in her dragon form calmed down in her Shapeshifted form. Her aura was now slightly dimmer but it had a distinct color of fear, curiosity and happiness at the same time. She let out a deep long sigh of relief that she is at someplace that could help her answer some questions.

Maria looked at the two structures for a bit. She slowly calmed down of being afraid but her aura showed the fact she’s still afraid. She walked slowly towards the structure that looked the most imposing that was the Library. She looked down at the snow on her feet and she has never really seen snow before. P-Pretty I heard snow but never seen it,” Maria thought to herself, with a gentle smile on her face. She walked ahead with the smile on her face of finally seeing snow after all this time, she kinda wanted to play in the snow.

Maria felt uneasy while going towards the Library because it was much more imposing than the Temple. She fell on her face because she on accident tripped on her feet. O-Oh no W-Why do I have to be clumsy right now? W-Why am I nervous? Maria thought to herself, with her rainbow aura shining a bit brighter in embarrassment for tripping over herself. She slowly gets up and walks towards the Library again with a bit of a careful step to her. She didn’t want to fall on her face again.

In the Vrondi Capital, Zargoth was still walking towards the Center of the Capital. He was watching the scenery carefully and keeping an eye on his daughter at the same time. He was slightly annoyed with some things but he couldn’t help shake a feeling as if something is wrong. ”Hmm… I hope nothing is wrong with Maria…,” Zargoth thought to himself, with his mind close to any Solarians. He knew he wanted to see the Castle of this great city though since he wanted to know some things.

Yioplya was looking at everything in awe, while walking with her father towards the center. She was amazed with how big this entire place is and she wanted to see the castle as well. She wanted to go faster. ”We should pick up the pace father…,” Yioplya said to her father.

Zargoth looked down at his daughter a bit and sighed with a slight annoyance. He recognized that they took the longest time to walk there. ”Sure, daughter let’s go,” Zargoth said. He wanted to pick up the pace too but he wanted his daughter to suggest it and not him.

Yioplya was happy that her father said yes, he never says yes. ”Yays, thank you father…,” Yioplya said a bit hyper and happy that her father finally said something she wanted to hear. She has a very explorative nature within her and being trapped underneath the Dragon Roost was depressing to her.

Zargoth and his daughter walked a bit faster towards the center of the town. Because of their picking up the pace, they reached the center a bit sooner and saw the invitation with their binocular vision. He was a bit amazed he always wanted to see what the Kings and Queens of the other kingdoms look like, he hardly got out of his territory after what happened. He did join the side that won at least, by force from Maria’s doing. ”Hmm… I wondered what changed if anything… between these kingdoms,” Zargoth thought to himself, with a inquisitive look on his face.

Yioplya was mostly looking at the invitation, showing it was a meeting and more like a party or a ball. ”I… want to dance,” Yioplya said, cutely towards her father. She wanted to cutely dance in front of tons of people. She doesn’t really know if she’s rusty but she usually dances much.

Zargoth looked at his daughter and rolled his eyes. ”Yes, I know you want to dance, that’s all you want to do,” Zargoth said. He was slightly annoyed with his daughter sometimes mostly with how she acts and her complete naivety. It didn’t help he was the only one that was raising her. He sighed slightly and wished his wife was alive still.

Yioplya was happier when her father said yes again. She had a skip in her step and was happier a bit more. ”Thank you father. I will have fun there,” Yioplya said. She had a smile on her face.

At Dragonpass Encampment, Johnson walked outside of his home to his family. He saw his two daughters still playing and his wife was standing there watching them. ”That’s wonderful, they are playing still,” Johnson said a bit relieved with what he had done to that contract. He was proud to have his daughter's safe but a strange air started swinging around the camp and it was quite unknown to him.

Hannah felt the change in the air and was wondering what that was about. “Husband what is happening?” Hannah asked confused. She couldn’t really understand what is happening.

The strange air that happened stopped and nothing was out of the ordinary. Except for one single thing, there was brandished slitted eyes looking directly at Johnson and Hannah. “Why did you destroy the Contract?” A female voice asked, a bit angered at this. She walked out of the shadows and her appearance* was different from everyone else. Her aura stopped imitating a dark aura and slowly turned bright. She walked closer to Johnson and his wife but left their children alone. ”Do I have to repeat myself… Why?” She asked again a bit more annoyed.

Johnson felt a chill down his spine when he heard the voice coming from one of his ancestors, the ancient solar dragon by the name of Melinda. ”Because we shouldn’t be apart of this entire thing,” Johnson said, with vindication. He was serious with what was going on.

Melinda looked at him a bit seriously and sighed. ”I guess you did the one thing I couldn’t I was afraid of the entire deal but he told me I could get my revenge on my mother…,” Melinda said, a bit relieved.

Johnson was a bit startled when she said that and felt as if there’s a something amiss. ”Melinda then why did you signed it in the first place, Besides what you said…,” Johnson said. He couldn’t really tell why he was worried about one of his ancestors. He was more worried about her than anything, since she has self-inflicted wounds on her.

Melinda sighed and shrugged her shoulders. ”If I didn’t Dargoth would have killed all of the Solar Dragons and Descendants of us… Therefore, he did the one thing the Valorous Dragonlord was good at Threatening to Wipe out an entire species to make his point,” Melinda said. She could feel Johnson’s eyes on her and she was embarrassed at this and looked away from him. ”P-Please don’t stare at me… I get embarrassed easier than Maria…,” Melinda said, blushing and a bit worried about her mother.

Johnson was startled that the only real reason why the Stonefields were tasked with this contract in the first place was leverage or blackmail. ”Sorry, My lady… I can’t help myself… Why do you have those self-inflicted wounds?” Johnson asked. He did look at his wife.

Hannah had an annoyed look on her face because her husband always doesn’t think when he speaks to women, unless its her and Ms. Winters. “Who is this? And why did you call her my lady?” Hannah asked towards her husband.

Melinda heard the question that Hannah asked Johnson and giggled a bit. She was blushing from Johnson’s stares. ”I… am Emma L. Stonefield’s Daughter who was forcing me to dress as if I am a guy, when I was shapeshifted. But I am totally not a guy and a girl, 100%. Melinda L. Stonefield is my name. And I am your husband’s ancestor, a Full blooded Solar Dragon,” Melinda answered Hannah’s questions. She glanced at Johnson and sighs. ”Because my mother was mistreating me…,” Melinda replied to Johnson’s question.

Hannah heard what Melinda had said and was utterly shocked to see another Dragon in short notice the first one was Maria Z. Tetra-Lira, the Rainbow Dragon Matriarch. She had went into shock for a bit because she never thought the dragons would come out of the woodwork to this Encampment but she remember seeing Melinda a lot in the Encampment as one of the 20 guards. “Err, it seems like Melinda was keeping an eye on us as much as much as you were protecting us, Husband,” Hannah said a bit shocked.

Ms. Winters walked up to Johnson with an important contract for a bounty. “Johnson.. This is for you, sir,” Winters said, kindly.

Johnson heard his wife’s shocked statement and he was shocked a bit, but he saw Ms. Winters walk up to him and hand him a contract bounty for something really strange, it was as if it was an Invitation to somewhere in Nero. ”Weird… That is strange,” Johnson said a bit weirded out by it.

Nero: The Shadow Gathering

The cold room of the Dolofon's shadow gathering brought little light to the eyes of those within. This was due to the candles which waved left or right occasionally from its upright stillness. Wax melting seamlessly into the crevices of the misty stone floors. Pillars meant to stabilize the room. The air was clear save for the hint of water permeating in the air and alluding to the chill of the stone releasing some of its condensation.

Once the assassins of the Dolofon were no longer entering the dark halls of the gathering room a hand was raised by the shadowy figure standing before everyone. “Good.. Those who are here are the 47 who have been chosen for your skillset. It has been quite some time since we have gathered here. Many of you are new to this.. gathering. Others are veterans, and I welcome you once more.” He waved his hand to give a gesture of the grand scale of the room they were in. He returned to a solid expression once more after doing so.

“It is without question that this will be of upmost importance. All other contracts you are under are miniscule. You will receive no penalties for not completing them. I will make sure of that. Instead focus entirely on this mission.” Sleeth began to stroll back and forth in front of the angelic statue in the center in a circle so all his assassins could see him as he went by.“There will be a gathering much like the renowned royal meeting I will be attending. However most within Nero do not find the sunlight or the way others detest their pleasures to be appealing. Vrondi is not a place for merriment for most Nayu, as you can imagine.” He paused and stroked the saddened grieving head of the statue.

"So there will be a gathering of our own, a Nero gathering. Many of my elite guards have come with me to Vrondi but simple guarding is not what I brought you all here for. I have a target for you. A single one. This target will be attending this gathering and will be attempting to take hold to something valuable to me, nay to all of Nero. This target is the leader of the Therosi. The reward will be any wish within my power. Do well to keep in mind my powers deal more than death, life, wealth, power, all within my grasp. However... The identity of this person is unknown to me. I will attempt to siphon this information from Vrondi or the Magoi while I'm away but I do hope one of you can kill him or her before so... The rules as for any assassination are the same. Do not get caught, but do not make it so I cannot verify your success. The rest is up to you."

The shadowy right hand of Sleeth lifted and a bright red cylinder object floated above it. It was clearly an illusion but it was close to the shape of a vile of red liquid. This red liquid glowed a bit to give a red hue over the faces and eyes of all those who peered into it. "This will be the item you will protect. The blood of the original seraphim. It is symbolic for the Nero kingdom and is a part of our collections. I have been given word that the Therosi leader is after this. While I do not care much for this item he or she does, I will use it to lure them in and end the Therosi for good. Then I will claim leadership of it and make use of it as I see fit.” The item remained midair for a few seconds longer after his many words, which he spoke with elegant accentuation, before twisting and vanishing as it collapsed into itself to become nothing.

Now he stood before his 47 who all had mixed feelings he could tell but none would shy from an order from their prestigious leader. “I recommend you all find a change of attire. Dress your very best. For you will be attending the blood gathering the kingdom of Nero will be throwing in my honor. And try to have some fun.” Once his speech was done his body vanished as its misty form evaporated into the air as it spread out, distorting his appearance as it did so at first.

The 47 of the Dolofon began to exit now, many choosing to open portals or disappear into the shadows. Many others however merely walked up the stairs that led down to the room and would find themselves within a large graveyard in Nero’s capital and overlooking the town below that led to the tall tower like castle structures that belonged to the Nero royals.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Vrondi Capital City

The sun was getting brighter as it rose up higher to meet the welcomed panels of sunlight absorbers that lined the top walls of the Vrondi capital. A thin indistinguishable barrier could be seen coming from the walls and covering the entire Vrondi city wall to wall in a dome like way. Dragons and flying descendants still passed through it without issue and many seemed happier after doing so. For it was the sweet aroma and good mental vibrations one got from entering the Vrondi capital city that made many not want to leave, or to not leave for long. The air flow was unobstructed as it whirled over the hills and gave a cooling breeze to those beneath the glaring sun. The smell of plantations spewing fresh spores filled the air.

As the morning air began to give way to the suns early midday warmth the dews of the fields surrounding Vrondi both inside and out melted into the air and gave moisture to many of these plants. It was this energy many in Vrondi absorbed as plants withered away into the palms of the Sol. With smiles they brimmed with energy from plant life and sunlight. The castle that housed their king was brimming as well, a tower of light almost pillaring into the sky and stopping once meeting the barrier. Symbolizing protective power and harmony. Down these royal polished white and gold halls were many Sol dressed in long fashionable attire that were adorned with rare beautiful flowers and stones and most importantly dragon scales. These scales all glowed in multicolored light and reflected a different personality for each royal.

Their attire did however leave room for some royals to experiment with plant attire further and a few wore almost entirely rare exotic plants or flowers that brimmed with life, likely connected to their energies. These royals all setup a large room which was decorated with plants that gave only sweet smells and many colored and shaped bloomed flowers. In this room was the head seat of the king. Where he sat before his servants and other prominent Sol of Vrondi. “Perhaps it would be best if I did not sit here amongst the others. To sit as a king, even within my own kingdom, may earn me respect. But it will not calm any egos.” Vrondi spoke calmly and carefully almost to himself. The Sol that stood around him were many.

“That Magnixx is an arrogant man but that Sleeth will be the most offended by this display. It is no secret he believes himself to be the most powerful king of all.” One of the royals spoke who was an elderly Sol with red eyes and long strands of silky white coming from his head and face, his head had a broken horn that curved like miniature antlers. The others around him, though varying in age and appearance, all seemed to be rather wise and adorned with all white attire. “Yes he will prove to be a difficult one to win over. It has not boded well for quite some time. But with no danger at his doorstep he will have no reason to aid us. I have to convince him he too is in danger.” Vrondi removed his hand from his chin before standing and instead of stepping he merely levitated into the air.

He lowered his levitation and crossed his arms behind his back and observed in an upright position only a few inches above the ground what was being done to the room around him. A large table was set in the middle of the room and the smell of fresh foods being prepared nearby was filling the air. Many royals took the opportunity to say hello to their king in person. Like the sun of a eternally glowing star amongst flesh and blood was what appealed so many to the king and his endless well of wisdom was a treasure. “To Ascend is to become more than what you are made out of. It’s choosing what makes you truly you right down to the center.” He said as he spoke to a few young Sol royals who had curious questions that made many of his replies sound strange out of context. “No I don’t have to go to the bathroom. Haha!”

Entering the room were many royals of the Vrondi capital all who were preparing for the future guests. It as not too long until a Sol woman’s voice echoed through the mind of many of those within the castle. They are close. I can feel them.
The meeting will begin soon.
----------------------------
Vrondi Capital. Weapon district.

“So it’s not like I’m poor I just need a favor real quick. Promise to return the favor!”
“If I do this for you there’s one thing I want from you. That’s a citizenship badge to Fotia. Not enough metals in Vrondi. Damn Sol don’t like the hard stuff so much. Wood, grass and shit. I might be here but my heart is in Fotia.”
A gentleman spat on the lush grass that was outside the barrier of his large tent that housed his anchor and other blacksmithing materials. He appeared a bit older and short for a dragonkin descended but his pipe and uncaring cold eyes made him appear quite tough. Also the thought of his frame swinging a large hammer and making decent weapons could be intimidating. This scaled man spoke up to another descendant who seemed to be followed not too far behind by a smaller much younger descendant boy. This man who spoke to this blacksmith was none other than Ziton the seeker, and behind him was Baqar.

“I just need it in top condition. You can manage that correct?” The man looked up with a glare before taking a long and relaxing inhale of the pipe before exhaling it into Ziton’s face whom began to wave it away with little but a frown in protest. “Alright.. I’ll do it. But don’t tell anyone I did this for ya. As for that badge?” The smith said before Ziton grinned childishly and went into his long leather attire and tossed down a red pin like badge that was given many engravings that resembled a circle of volcanoes representing the capital of Fotia. “Here you go. Enjoy your new life in Fotia friend. I’ll be back soon for my special baby alright?” Ziton said before handing the reptile his barreled weapon.

The dragonkin looked with wide eyes at the object. “Never have I seen Tearian weaponry up close. Looks rather simple, I assume this trigger is where I should avoid. I’m guessing this does not need rounds.” Ziton wagged his finger. “It does. But those come here.” Ziton pointed to the center of his abdomen with his right index finger. “My soul. Anyways take care for now. And don’t mess it up!” That said Ziton strolled off with a casual whistle with Baqar timidly walking behind him like a puppy.

Nero Capital

The bluish hue of shade that sunk into every wall, rooftop and city streets were the result of the little light able to enter into this kingdom. There were torches around to help those few travelers or dwellers of the Nero capital. The streets were mostly empty save for a few men and women going to and leaving from locations. Occassionally down the empty road in the center of the path a carriage or dragon rider would stroll by. It was aired in thr city due to holes in the cieling that were massive and led to endless tunnels that reached deep caverns.

Most business was done indoors. It was the honed senses of the Nayu that allowed them to conduct themselves despite being mostly blind to sight. Within doors they could more easily feel the sounds vibrating on an object. Beauty was of the voice, smell, touch and taste. Despite this the Nero Royals dressed extravagantly. Their sight having been given by the trial of the sight. With heavy guards and blood or kinship to the King most were able to see from a young age, despite little martial prowess. Though it was frowned upon to be weak within the Nero royalty. Especially for those close to the king.

It was in the walls of a Royals home where a slender and tall woman with a sultry stare peered down at the longing gaze of a Nayu man. She herself not seeming too far off from one. Both having deadly seductive eyes but the woman straddled the man. "I can show so much more than just my delicate breasts." She whispered as her hands slid into the curves of his neck, her almost bare chest inches from his face. With a smile he raised his glass of red liquid in his right hand. "With these new eyes of mine I can see it all. Let's celebrate at the blood gathering." He spoke with confidence as his eyes seemed to glimmer with new wonder.

The woman on his lap smirked with a light chuckle vibrating in her vocals. They then kissed and fell back into the soft bed of cloth layered over soft white piles of silk. The room was lit with green flaming candles and the eerie aura was gazed up in my a young girl with wide and animal like eyes. She continued to look as they began to declothe each other. But before the undergarments went off the circular window she peered through was blocked by the woman with a window blind.

The little girl did not seemed affected by this and simply lowers herself back to the ground. Her attire consisted of just a black cloak and sandals. She held in her hand a piece of paper that depicted two people in a sketch for a bounty.

She began to tear the paper to pieces. "Rip. Rip. Tear. Tear." She went on as she took out piece by piece and tossed it into the air. She was hardly illuminated in the shadow of the large home of the royal but her eyes almost glowed like a cat. She raised her hands in the air and tossed the papers up and watched as they floated away. "Whooooosh~ now to find more..."
----------
Vrondi: The Royal Meeting

It was time. Trumpets sounded and light showered down in multicolored bliss as the ships and carriages of the other kingdoms began to arrive. It was the Fotian and Gaian vessels to arrive first nearly identical in time. The came from above both in or on massive flying carriers. The Fotian airship came down gently and it's flat surfaced bottom where all the residents resided, beneath the giant balloon and propellers, and opened a large staircase for many of the Royals within to step out and be greeted by the majesty of the Vrondi kingdom. All citizens wore something special for the occasion and could be seen peering out their homes in awe of the kingdom's that were arriving. It was like being invaded by mystery.

The gust of wind that meant the Gaia kingdoms arrival was met with a bit of surprise as some pedals from bouquets and other delicate ornaments were blown aside. But all the wind soon subsided as the massive stone dragon remained airborne. It were the gifted wings of their own or those of a dragon rider that lowered the Gaian Royals to the soft grass lands below within the city of Vrondi. It was a celebration.

The Kingg of Fotia and the Queen of Gaia were both accompanied by their most trusted guards and servants. It was a moment before either of their parties moved however from where their vessel landed. Both choosing to take in the Vrondi capitals beauty and watch for the entrances of the other Royals who were soon to be here. With a hand on his hip Magnixx smirked at the Queen from afar. She however was occupied with waving and saying hello to many of the Sol natives here who were massing in great numbers to greet her as she stood in front of her glistening white diamond scaled dragon. Her own adornments and even her skin glimmers with the multicolored shine of jewels.

Nero's Capital. Blood Banquet.

As the day went on those in Nero were congregating around the sweet aroma of fresh blood and other cuisines and decorations. Music played softly in the background within but little was happening beyond a filing in of patrons. After a while the castle gates were closed and the large halls and endless rooms within the kings royal castle was free to be flames by guests but there were many guards to hold off entry to many of these places. The main room where every royal and special patron resided was the banquet hall.

The patrons all also wore masks. As their attire was mostly in black or red they fit the dim lighting of candles and the eerie chill in the air. The sound of chatter grew more loudly as Nero Royals began to fill the place out. Soon it was the appearance of over several dozen Therosi red hooded figures who entered that caused silence. They brought with them items wrapped in black cloth. They were elongated and wide. They dropped the items on the ground in the center and unraveled them. There before the Nero Royals were four young seraphim. Each whimpered in fear as they were bare and were covered by merely the cloth that wrapped them.

"Bidding starts at twenty thousand." Spoke a hooded figure who stood out from the rest. He had white hair dangling from inside his hood. While the others were presumed balled by the way some took down their hood and showed identical balled heads. They also brought in large metallic barrels of red liquid. Pouring them into a fountain soon a fountain of red began to shoot up and splash into itself. Royals took glasses and scooped drinks from the fountain and cheered while clanging then together.

Others began to observe the seraphim and make bids. The music grew louder and many began to enjoy themselves more and more. The 47 Dolofon being in attendance were dressed in masquerade and eyed the Therosi. There were many decorations within these halls, one in particular was of the Kings likeness behind his throne seat within the banquet hall. Some joked about sitting there but none approached it.

Paon

Paon straightened as Sleeth began speaking. His full attention on the leader of the dolofon as he listened with later like focus. His hands moved behind his back as he took a more formal stance, the others may be sight impaired, but to him the gesture was still important.

Paon quirked a brow as the subject of this mission's importance was brought forward. A mission so important that all other contracts were eliminated? Opal eyes followed the figure of sleeth as he moved. Sleeth in the sunlight...thats an image Being that he was not nayu, he could only imagine how much sleeth would despise the sun. The idea of seeing that however, was both amusing and highly intriguing.

Paon was soon snapped out of the amusement by the next statements. A nero gathering...he could only imagine the dark entertainment that would be there. Not only that, but a target. A single target with intent of taking an important object. The reward then peeked his interest. Anything? But what of those who wish for nothing? He really could not think of anything he would wish for. He wasn't the largest dragon out there, but why would he want to be larger? Wealth did not interest him he felt happy with where he was. As for power...he did want to learn magic, but then again...why? He shook the thoughts away from his mind and instead focused on memorizing the details of the mission. His calling card was poison use...specifically his poison. There was nothing like it out there...Though perhaps he would need to add something. Perhaps an opal.

Paon focused in on the illusion as it appeared. A blood vial contain the blood of the original seraphim. Of course the therosi leader was after it. His head tilted slightly as he listened and continued to make sure to memorize how the vial looked. As it became nothing, he focused back on his leader. He had no mixed feelings, if Sleeth wanted this done he would do it.

Once Sleeth disappeared, Paon took out the ticket for the tailor. He needed new clothing...and the spare clothes he had would simply not cut it. He slipped it back into his pocket and made his way to the tailor with just the right outfit in mind.

Blood Banquet

Paon looked completely different. His outfit was one of purple and black in the most supple of clothing with the hood, down. The mask he donned was elegant yet simple. A slight nod to the demonic subtly shown in it. The most striking changes were his features themselves. His hair was no longer the white and pastel it normally was, but rather a deep black tipped in white and purple. His eyes were also changed...a rarity in and of itself. His eyes were no longer the opal color, but rather onyx. Deep color changes played with each reflection of light instead of bright rainbow colorations. To top it off they were rimmed with a deep almost black purple making them seem deeper and more mysterious. The ear opposite of the one with the blood drop held a silver earring with a chain and cuff. He seemed more mysterious with these changes, yet somehow more elegant.

Paon seemed to slowly move about the room. His hands tipped with black colored nails as if he wanted them to match as well. He paused at a spot where he could watch what was occurring in front of him and gave a head tilt as the therosi entered. His eyes narrowed at the one with the white hair before inspecting the others.

Paon kept his eyes moving, being completely black it was somehow even harder to tell where exactly he was looking. A unique advantage, yet completely creepy to look at. More so then completely opal colored. He saw the royals enjoying themselves and watched the other assassins look around as well. He lightly rolled his shoulders before eyeing the therosi again. Would the target be one of the perviously hooded figures? Perhaps the one with white hair? Or would they have somehow managed to sneak in as one of the ones to be bidder on? He highly doubted the last possibility...they seemed far too young. He remembered he was supposed to have some fun...but...trying to find the target was fun. He was a predator after all...the hunt was always somewhat thrilling to him.

In the Gaian Mountains by the Library Knowledge and the temple. Maria felt uneasy for some odd reason because of her acknowledgement of her haunting but she wants to learn somethings about her origin. She felt like Bahamut, the Zealous Dragonlord was hiding something from her. I-I hope this library has the knowledge I s-seek,” Maria thought to herself a shiver down her spine. She slowly walked towards the Library of Knowledge and she came to a crossroads in a sense. She saw a bridge leading towards the Library of Knowledge and went onto the bridge but fell on her face, by tripping on a ice slick that was there. O-Ow, why does Ice hurts but Snow is fluffy and cool looking, Maria thought to herself, slowly crawling and standing up because she wasn’t prepared for Ice.

A voice entered her mind as usual, but it was laughing slightly at her miserable existence. ”You… amuse us… Not… long… until… you… learn the…. Truth about your existence as a whole,” The Spectre telepathically said, with clarity and a sense of relief the truth is finally going to come out. It had multiple voices laughing all at the same time about Maria’s soon to be discovery of the truth. ”You’re Father… should’ve crushed your spirit before he crushed your mental capacity with… the spellbook. Dargoth was simple minded in his goals,” The Spectre telepathically said, with a certain vile hatred towards Maria’s own dad.

Maria started looking around for the voices in her head but she couldn’t see whatever was speaking to her. Her chill down her spine was more severe when the Spectre brought up her father’s name, Dargoth. She tried to ignore the feeling of terror and outright fear she felt while living underneath a father and mother that didn’t love her at all. S-Stop it I-I dont need y-youre arrogant voice i-in m-my h-head, y-you m-monster that h-haunts me I-I know m-my p-parents didnt love me, Maria stuttering in fear of what the Spectre had said. She was shivering in fear and remembered everything that happened to her from the get go, as if a feeling of terror is still over her. She was afraid and she walked quickly to the Entrance of the Library of Knowledge, since she needed to know the truth more than anything now. Her body temperature was fluctuating alike her aura and it was going alike a roller coaster and her entire aura was dimming and losing its colorization. She felt a terrible darkness slowly pulsing from her spellbook that she carries with her all the time and it felt evil. She opened the Library of Knowledge’s entrance and was utterly amazed.

Maria walked into the main hall of the Library of Knowledge, her aura was still losing its colorization but her eyes were going through the colors of a rainbow. T-This library is large. I-I have no idea what I am looking for, Maria thought to herself, with an childlike awe to her even though she was feeling a bit ill. She put her hand on her forehead and she can feel she’s burning up and then she feels she’s chilly too. She was slowly walking with her aura losing colorization and the spellbook pulsing with an unnatural evil but she was looking at all the books on the shelves. She noticed a table and a few chairs by a bookshelf.

Maria walked towards the table she noticed and opened her pouch that holds her diary, the spellbook and the currency of Paradise. She sat the Spellbook that was still pulsing with evil and it slowly felt a hand on her shoulder and it freaked her out. She turned around and saw* the voice, in her head right there in front of her. W-Why c-can I-I s-see you? Maria asked, a freaked out a bit. Her aura was regaining its colorization for some odd reason as if it saved her a bit of suffering. She felt a bit better but the uneasiness was strong while looking directly at the voice within her head.

The Spectre smiled evilly while looking directly at her with a direct and glare looking down at her chest. ”We… wanted to keep you alive and beautiful. We… counteracted the evil pulsing from the spellbook again… We… are now visible to everyone for awhile I have no idea how long...,” The Spectre said, with a evil smile and looking Maria up and down as if it is undressing her with its eyes. It looked around the library and smiled slightly and laughs at the entire entrance. ”We… have heard… of this Library… but… it’s knowledge was… locked… to us since we followed… Him,” The Spectre said, with a creeping smile on its face. It slowly looked at the evil spellbook that is pulsing evil energy and slowly aging the table it is on and turning it into a blackened obsidian colored wood. ”The Princess of Rainbow, put it back on your person…,” The Spectre said.

Maria heard and saw the table turn black and obsidian color and was startled. She slowly walked towards the book and put it back into her pack. The spellbook slowly stopped pulsing evil but it was slowly pulsing a greyish color instead of a black evil color. I-I dont like what... it is d-doing something different. W-Why is it glowing grey? Maria asked, confused and startled. She looked at the spectre freaking out. The spellbook was slowly dimming and stopped pulsing but it started to hum with a musical sound to it. She heard the musical sound and was freaked out a bit because it reminded her of her horrible childhood. She starts to grimace and starts shivering and freaking out. I-I dont need th-this horrible reminder, Maria stuttering and shivering. She felt weak and kinda dizzy from the musical sound from the spellbook. She walked towards the table that was changed and sat down in the seat. She rests her head on the table but slowly breathing with a slight headache.

The Spectre had a smile on its face from seeing Maria suffer in front of it. ”How wonderful… you remember the song of despair… The only song that he used… against you… to control your senses,” The Spectre said, with a smile. It looked around the area and noticed a book on a shelf and went through the obsidian table since it is a spectre. ”Ah… this place has the knowledge that we seek for him…,” The Spectre said, with a evil looking smile and it grabbed the book and absorbed the knowledge within. It placed the book back while pulsing with a purple aura and it looked at Maria. It laughed at her and waited by the bookshelf and looked through the books their titles.

In Vrondi Kingdom, at the Castle, Zargoth and Yioplya went to the ball since he knew his daughter would want to go to that. He rolled his eyes at the elegance of the party and ball but he disliked not giving his daughter her way. He felt a chill down his spine as if something is wrong with his younger sister, Maria. ”What’s going with her? I hope she’s alright and nothing is happening to her… I worry of her sanity since I hear her talk to herself,” Zargoth thought to himself. He was looking at his daughter who was enjoying herself near the snack bar. He walked up towards his daughter and sighed. ”Are you enjoying yourself daughter?” Zargoth asked, curiously.

Yioplya heard her father ask that question. ”I-I am enjoying myself… these foods are nice… snacks are definitely something I needed,” Yioplya said, cheerfully. She was cheerful and enjoying the snacks. She didn’t really have any real problems eating multiple different types of foods since she’s not particularly picky. She didn’t really pay attention to her father’s body language since she was enjoying herself. ”F-Father… we should go to these more often, than once in a blue moon,” Yioplya said, annoyed at what she finished with in her sentence.

Zargoth rolls his eyes when his daughter mentions the lack of going to parties. ”I can’t help it if I am not into these type of engagements,” Zargoth whispered in his daughter’s ear. He looked at his daughter’s plate in her hand and takes one of her snacks and eats it. He smiles a bit while his daughter was distracted. ”I guess I could get used to this. Daughter stop being a bit of a brat,” Zargoth said with a slight smile on his face.

Yioplya looked at her father with a bit of a sour face since she acted like she didn’t she saw him take something of her plate of snacks. ”I-I will try, but I will ignore the fact you stole something off my plate…,” Yioplya said. She knows the only event that her father enjoys being apart of is anniversary dinner but that was when her mother was still alive. ”I-I wish I knew what happened to my grandfather… he is still alive but it would be nice to know where he is… Bahamut… where are you?” Yioplya thought to herself and it was deep within her subconscious it was closed off from anyone. She was lost in thought about who she wants to see again, her grandfather.

Zargoth noticed his daughter was lost in thought and that she did notice take from her plate. He was wondering what his daughter was thinking about but didn’t really press anything. ”Daughter stop being distracted… I can’t believe I am going to say this but let’s do something instead of standing by the snacks,” Zargoth said, a bit annoyed with the whole ordeal.

Yioplya giggled when her father said something a different to everything he usually says. She was a bit confused since she never really had a party with the Descendants except for Paradise before it was lost to history. She placed the plate down on the snack bar and looked at her father with a bit of a smile on her face. ”Y-Yeah, I have to agree with that…,” Yioplya said, with a look of confusion. She wondered what her father had in mind.

In Heather’s room, she woke up sweating and terrified of what she saw in the dreamscape twice. She saw a strange dragonlord, the Zealous Dragonlord and a eyes of another dragon that didn’t look right in the dreamscape as a whole. ”I-I don’t believe it… we met a legendary creature and he wants us to keep him a secret?” Heather thought to herself. She had a smile but went back to sleep and it was more of a restful sleep since she didn’t go into a dreamworld to be terrified again.

In Patricia’s Room, she woke up and slightly confused. ”I-It looked like he knows my ancestor, but how? But I didn’t want to ask that…,” Patricia thought to herself a bit. She was a bit exhausted from the two dreams in the dreamscape she had and slowly went back to sleep. She started to snore a bit.

In the parent’s room, Alexis woke up and was hyperventilating but relieved to be awake in the real world and didn’t want to combine, her child and her friend’s dreams together again. ”S-Something tells me… I won’t enjoy Bahamut’s return… as much as some people,” Alexis thought to herself, with a slight annoyance. She got up from her sleeping position because it was a bit uncomfortable. She got into more comfortable position and then went to bed again.

Blood Banquet

The banquet main doors open up and allow two more guests inside. A man and a woman, both appearing to be Nayu save for the woman’s red horns. She wore a corset outfit with a mask that did little to hide her strong demeanor and yellow eyes with red circles around the pupils. She was a tall woman and was made even more so with her heeled boots that made her stand at a even 6 feet and 2 inches tall. She almost reached beyond the height of her companion who was a tall and slender Nayu man with broad shoulders. He wore a suit of his own with a masquerade mask to match. He led her inside by hand and they strolled down the opening center hall where the other guests were beginning to take in the pleasantries of the room they were in. It was this room that had the cold smell of fear laid stagnant and infused with excitement as any living creature would. It was the unknown horrors that Nayu royals were able to do in peace among them and to any unfortunate being to come across their path. The young seraphim souls that were being auctioned off were the main attraction for most of the royals however. As it, besides the blood fountain, were the main attractions to be had here. Music played and some found it in their interest to hold hands and dance a simple dance realized by the use of touch and motion to move in rhythm with your partner. With the venturous type a lean of trust was made and for some that were even more confident in their abilities swung each other around and caught one another. It was this form of trust that was made when blind Nayu wanted to dance with music and each other. So dancing for Nayu, even if able to see, is a show of trust more so than flirting.

With a few eyes on the pair they walked to the dance floor and both gently rotated along the floor as they weaved through the crowds. Talking loud enough for each other to hear but remaining beneath the frequency of the music. Their demeanor seemed as any other couple on the floors of the large banquet hall. But it was not long until they reached the entrance of one of four hallways, southeast, southwest, northeast, northwest, they entered the northeast hall and down it. Other guests were in this hall as well but few as guards of Nero stood blocking entrance to deeper places. All there was were four rooms in this hall. These rooms were free for guests to use and had one large bed room and other necessities. The two walked into a room and locked it.

There are rooms within the north west hall identical to the northeast, the south west hall has pleasure rooms for other needs, one is a gambling room, another a large spa bath, the third and final room is a gathering room for the Nero guards. The South east hall was blocked by Nero guards and was said to be the King’s personal quarters with three rooms connected to make one. It was considered unwise to mistakenly attempt to pass the guards. It was not soon after the door closed behind Aelithea did she and her companion began exchanging passionate embraces that made the pressure of their weight lean against the door. The door held just as Aelithea did the Nayu royals smooth cheeks. “Do you remember the favor I asked of you?” She said while breathing heavily from pausing from the supposed accumulation of their intense desires. The man nodded with a wincing expression. He slowly backed up from Aelithea as she sighed deeply. “There will be more to come.. I promise.” She said with a smirk and made her way to the door. She opened it and the man went through it before her, he then began to approach the Nayu guards. ”You two! I know there’s a good bit of pay in guarding the supply chambers of the castle but there’s a special wine that has been sitting there for centuries. Since before our king, my cousin. So you see I can make it worth your while to allow me to enter these chambers to get it, will only be a minute.” The man spoke confidently and the two guards simply looked at one another. “One of us will accompany you.” The guard who spoke broke off their wall like formation to walk with the man down the hall.

Back inside the main banquet hall.

”Kukukuh.. Quite the party ehh..?” Chuckled a familiar voice behind Paon. The large body of the dragonkin Wasu was adorned with jewels and slimming silks with a bit of a baggy weight on his person. He was less intimidating now that he was fully clothed and yet still, despite his pleased toothy grin, seemed like a predator still. He sipped a cup of red liquid and sighed with relief. ”So you used the ticket? I don’t mind not finding the target but I won’t be going easy on you Paon. Or anyone else. But for now let us have fun kukukuh..” The cold reptilian eyes sitting on his head were invigorated with amusement at the sight of Paon in a entirely different outfit.
”I heard about what you did with Ziton the Seeker. Kukukuh.. Not an easy guy to kill. Many have tried.” He drank from his cup once more, which seemed small to his size and his sips were superficial. He seemed to be taking in the pleasantries as the other guests were. It was not until the Therosi who were over twenty in number began to circle around the hall and around the patrons. The one with long hair stepped forward and into the center before the large banquet table that was being laid out in the center before the King’s throne high chair. “Let the feast begin.” Food was laid out by servants, different warm dishes of meat and vegetation from Nero’s lands and lands far over. They also laid out glass bowls of red liquid with herbs in them and even a beating heart filled with blood was presented to some as meals with roses pierced through them to add a delicate taste to the horror. It was to the delight of the patrons there though that such delectable items were presented to them and many took their seats and began dining all while chatting beneath the music and dim lighting.

“We would like to thank the Therosi! For pleasing us even despite the absence of our king. Hahaha!” A royal stood and toasted the Theorsi who all stood apart from the guests and only watched. All except for three of the Therosi who sat the table nears its center and sat next to each other. One man of the Therosi sat with a slender form beneath his red robed attire and smirked with a pleased expression at the comment. The other was a woman and her icy cold eyes mimicked blindness. But she could hear just as well and bowed her head with humble acceptance. The last one seemed blind as well, yet had a stern look. This descendant seemed apart from the others and stood with both muscular and slender build with a towering height. His flesh seemed almost golden and his attire was a bit of a older faded red. His entire persona seemed to be older than the others, but far more capable than the therosi with long white hairs and a clear old age for a descendant. ”We humbly accept your kindness.” He spoke with a stern voice. The fun continued to be had as people ate and drank around them. The smell of fresh foods and strong drinks filling the air for every guest even the guards looked on longingly.

“Which of you do we thank for making such a wonderful group of caterers.” Asked a royal woman who sat across from the three Therosi. ”All of us.”He said comfortably and the woman laughed and nodded. “Well thank you all so much. This is the best I’ve ever had!” She said with agreeing gestures all around from the guests. The Dolofon who mixed about the crowd continued sniffing about for the leader of the Therosi.
