I'm pretty happy to see so much interest in what is really one of our shortest-living, least organized roleplays. I can't wait to see the support we get when we port over Precipice of War. That thing's been going for a year or two nonstop, and has a huge lore to back it.

How would socialism work in a medieval setting anyway? Collectivise the crops? Nationalise the duels?

Ever head of those incas?

They ran somewhat like a command economy.

Spanish germs are the worst. They jump over your defences and dash into your immune system, multiplying quickly and taking as much as possible before being forcibly booted back from whence they came.

...wow. xD

But in all seriousness (As serious as discussing a fantasy medieval kingdom simulator can be), will there be a trait system or anything of the like?

I'm not sure what you mean by that.

But, we try to make our roleplays the least gamey as we can. So your people won't have any special traits that separate it from the rest in a video-gamey-way. But that doesn't mean you can't develop your people a certain way. Like, a people who are good on horseback due to the way they live. Or people who are great sailors.

CKII style?

We don't really do systems. We give you limits, an idea of how the world works, and you write from there.

For the religion section, is it preferable to write out everything about the religion, the basics, or just what it is called?

Your choice. If you feel you need to go into detail, by all means. If not, then a very basic description will suffice.

Do this because honestly nobody wants to read a dissertation on some made up religion. Give us the name, BRIEFLY discuss the basics if you think it matters, and leave the details in IC where they actually apply to the story.

You sir have insulated my honor.

I challenge you to a drinking contest.

Also interested, also if we are going to have magic at all, I think a low-magic setting would work best. Probably on the level of Conan world, mixed with a bit of Elder scrolls. Prehaps even create an order to keep them in line? Like the Templar in Dragon age? (maybe even add the possibility of demon possession. Thus making magic even more risky to use.)

Are you going to add something like positive traits and negtive ones? So nations and their armies are not all capable. those are the worst and least interesting.

Just imagine if the Roman empire had excellent infantry, mounted archers, and flying docks with bombs attached.
