Two, powers. Power one, plant and animals are two completely different things. If you want both you'll need to use both spots.

What I'd recommend is Plant Manipulation and Animal Magic.

Animal magic would allow you to talk to, control and even become animals as well as much more.

@EchoicChamber Good Cs. Just note you can also use animal blood for rituals but I guess that is what the sacrificing animals.

I haven't read your bio yet, it's too long and I haven't got the time yet but I'll assume it's ok, but don't get me wrong. Having a long bio is good, I like it.

@semicolon Ok that's fine. Just be careful of God moding. You can try to control any of my characters if you want, just keep in mind some may become hostile afterwards.

@The One Sorry about the length, haha. It's mostly details about the cult Esperanza comes from, and some of the practices that they perform. As for the blood magic, she most likely believes that using her own blood is stronger (cause freaky death cult), but I'll keep that in mind for future reference. c: Should I move her over to the character tab?

Yeah, that's why Ahim was killed without much resistance when he was human. I'm glad their backstories are meshing up quite well. I wonder how would Esperanza feel knowing Ahim isn't only a necromancer, but an enslaved demon too?

I'll transfer them both right over the other tab. Don't worry, Fis won't be OP. He won't be able to, I have an idea for his limitations and see how he'd discover it as the RP goes. Ahim, on the other hand can be OP if he ever breaks away from Fis. His personality dampens his threat level, but he's a demon, so...

@semicolon I feel like she'll be very confused because she tends to think of demons as sinister deal makers, and also because she wouldn't think that the overlap between being a demon and being a necromancer would be possible (as her cult believes that demons prey on souls after death, and they don't see that as respectful enough to the dead for the dead to let themselves be summoned by one). She might get kind of frustrated because Ahim likely knows a lot more than her as well, being a demon, and would probably use it as incentive to become a stronger necromancer.

@EchoicChamber So much possibilities already! I also see a lot of potential with Fis and Esperanza. She came from a prominent Necromancer family, Fis is a descendant of a once-feared Warlock lineage. Perhaps we can build some history between the families? I see conflict developing between the families in the past that will affect Fis and Esp. Of course, Fis doesn't really know much about his family, yet.

Well, I've edited it. I decided to just take control over animals off entirely since
A) control over plants is the power this character was based around when I first made it years ago and
B) it was mostly just to make him feel more like an entire forest and just a tree spirit.

@semicolon I'd be down for that. Esperanza's family is kind of infamous due to its fervent worship of death, its past cannibalistic practices/kidnapping of random folk that got too close and ritualistically sacrifices them, and for generally being a strange bunch in general. They're very reclusive, but tend to welcome most people who want to join (save for immortals, as they're kind of off put by people that death itself refuses to take), and often send some members out to try and convert other people or for business or otherwise. Magic wise, the necromancer gene tends to crop up more frequently among women of the Ciervo line, or, if it does appear in a man, it tends to be weaker. Although that's probably not helped by the fact that they don't really train any male necromancers that they have, haha.

Yep! The link is there. Maybe, their families know each other by name or have fought each other at some point. Fis' family, unknown to him, are Warlock's for hire. Well, they started as that. They knew they had magic, the knew they were good at it and they used it to rise in the world. They succeeded, for the most part. One of them knew there was a need for more, and so that ancestor created the relic that would come to bind its first demon, permanently. They grew stronger and because of that, Esp's and Fis' families might have met due to their infamy and power. Plus, the Kalix family are closely tied with demons and Esp's family can temporarily bind demons. Might have exchanged tips to improve their magic, or something. :D

@semicolon I could see them knowing about each other at the very least. It's possible that the Ciervos were kind of cleaning up a mess around their borders, and maybe Fis' family caught sight of them sealing up a demon or something, so the two families kind of traded tips over that? The Ciervos probably didn't/don't approve of the constant summoning and binding of demons, as they view it as a bad omen, but as long as Fis' family didn't act in an actively hostile manner towards them or defile their gravesites I think they'd treat the Kalix family fairly amiably.

Personally I would recommend wukong because he has a lot of abilities you could take

I'll personally be limiting it to aura Manipulation with a few spiritual powers and some magic but there is a lot more to it then that and a lot more you could gain access to not to mention he won't try and kill you when he eventually gets free so he's probably your best bet when it comes to my characters
