@Rodiak aye that works, could have done some joint research or something in the past, probably best if we say my guy is hiding out in a cave nearby while he works (not because he's got a bounty anywhere other than Bruma yet), then when you pass your character can drag him down with promises of power, gold and probably seeing some interesting stuff.

My character has been all over Tamriel and spent a few years in Cyrodill, they could have met there while both were traveling and stuck together for a bit until they parted ways.
The party will be heading out in the morning. Maybe we can go to the cave Tedd mentioned in his IC post and your character could already be there?

@Rodiak aye that could work, my guy will most likely be er, working with some...volunteers so no kill on sight please. We'll say they're bandits actually.

Edit: Just read the post,could work as a mildly interesting intro if you kill all the bandits only to find they were undead and Tar is at the end of the cave with the chief's corpse, doing some alchemical tests on him or something.

Unless Edd has something else planned ofc. Actually while I'm thinking about it would I be okay to start with some basic potions and poisons?

Well i was planning on the group at first fighting them but teaming up with the leader to fight a troll or giant perhaps. The group is given the choose to help fight the giant with the leader, Kill the leader take the jewel and just leave. Just thinking of grey choices the players can get. However i think your idea would make for a interesting turn of events.

If not would you like me to post something now or just wait until the others head to the cave and deal with the cannon fodder first?

Just wanted to let you guys know that everyone moved on from the inn/bar And are making their way to the outside of the walls to see the explosions. Maybe your group and the current group can meet up back in there when they'll retire for the Night? Is that cool with you guys?

I'll reply to the post @Eviledd1984 posted when everyone is already met up. We still need @Mike the Bloodwolf@NPC@Thantos to join up with the party.

Unless NPC and Mike take the same quest and they all meet up in the cavern to make it faster and have Pyro finally join in.
