This little sentence in your post, is it saying that the station still has power? If it does, it would negate a lot of what David and Amber's posts were about..

@SimpleWriter More like 'Because the station hadn't exploded, it must be still operational'. You build the mainframe directly into base power, it can't be knocked out without destroying everything. I will edit to make this more clear.

Oh, I understand how that could've been misread, easily. There's only so many ways to differ between something being operational because it has power and something being operational because it isn't in itty-bitty pieces. Just remember that it would've also contradicted my own statements about cut connections due to the whatever-it-was pile-driving through the corridors and such.

I feel like we should establish how narrow these hallways or rooms are, if we give a sense of claustrophobia, it basically gives the sense of
"Do I want to risk taking a hit, or losing the energy of my shield, or should I run past it?" Because killing everything probably isn't the most advisable.

Something large went through the corridors and thrashed them. A large creature could not fit if the halls were narrow. That being said, the damages were partially from something still pushing them out a little.

I'm mostly asking if we should expect tight corridors at any point.

Mostly for tension reasons. XD

Mostly because slow targets are not a threat if you can walk around them.
But the threat is more real in a enclosed space, especially when you basically have shield HP to consider.

Sorry, I'm just used to writing horror to really pit characters in harder situations.

well several of us have personal energy shielding if the quarantine belt goes down, will those shields provide an extra layer of protection or would the x simply bypass them entirely?
