Winter purses her lips. “Hey! Barry!” She calls up the stairs.

Sorcha watches every move and then she darts forward and feints a parry and steps to the side and hooks his temple and hits his ribs with her pommel, and kicking the back of his knee before she gets back.

Asa giggles like someone tickled would and she knees him in the private area and jabs him in the nose, and her fingers catch in his eyes before she retreats a few steps to watch him.

Khalida frowns. “I don’t understand. Why do I need to learn to fight? What is this place? Isn’t that ‘monster’ a dream, and how did you know? What is going on? What kind of question is that? Why do you need to know?” She sighs. “Well if you must know, my mother is Meilin Li, but I’ve never met my father.”

Winter glances at Vic and she casually rests her arm on his shoulders. “Vic here wanted some more help with the shabti. Right, Vic?” She squeezes his shoulder a little.

Sorcha dodges his slashes and puts her sword arm across his throat and she puts her foot behind his, driving him down to the floor. She puts a knee across his waist and stabs him in the heart with her sword.

Asa grunts softly as she falls, her knees tucked in to her chest to keep him off. She uses her legs to push him away and she gets to her feet, quite limber despite the amount of blood she’s losing.

Jason grunts and goes limp soon two large wolves come and take him away a few hours later he would wake up in his room

Winter leaves, feeling like she’s no longer needed.

Sorcha felt a pang in her chest when she’d killed him, and she’d followed the wolves carrying him as a fly so she could leave a note under his door telling him to meet her in the arena. She heads back to the arena to stare down a much larger male smirking at her. “Aw why’d you have to go and kill my fun, Red? I was just gonna challenge him.” Sorcha scoffs. “How you’d kill him, Brit, well you’d never let him just die on you. You’d torture him, torment him until he’s scarred for all of his afterlives,” she snarls. “I just want my fights to last a little longer, is that so much to ask? Besides, it’s not like you’ve never done it before, mamacita.” Sorcha takes silent deep breaths to not let her anger show.

Asa grunts, and she laughs a little. “We’ll finish this later,” she says as she feels her spirit leave her body; she’d bleeded out.

Brit snarls and spits at a stone-faced Sorcha. “Don’t think for a second that this is over. Bitch.” When he’s out of earshot, Sorcha sighs, a little wearily, not paying attention to the spit on her cheek. “I can take care of myself, Charlie.”

Khalida curses softly and jumps to her feet, but she sighs, unsure where to go. She approaches a majestic half-man half-horse creature which seems to be in charge based on his interactions with others. “Excuse me, sir? I.. i Don’t know where to go. I’m not even sure what I’m doing here.”

Asa is brought back to the meadow, smiling brightly. “I forget how nice that feels.” She brushes some leaves off of her linen clothes as she stands.

Asa tilts her head. “What?” She frowns faintly. “There’s nothing behind me, and nothing strange in the near vicinity so.. wait are there actually gods nearby?” Again, modern lingo clashes with Asa’s time period.

Sorcha winces a little at the heat blooming in her cheeks. She sighs before starting the introductions. “Charlie, this is Jason, son of Tyr. Father asked me to show him around. And Jason, this is Charlie, son of Loki. Who did not confirm my assumption that he knows perfectly well that I’m more than capable of taking care of myself,” she glares at Charlie.

Khalida’s eyes widen. “Holy ancients. Please pinch me. But wait..” she hesitates before asking, her brow furrowing a little. “I’m.. I'm dyslexic, so does that explain why I seem to be able to read Greek? And what about the hydra I.. suppose I fought? And my mother? Does she know I’m here?” She sighs when none of her questions are answered and follows Arty with a polite smile. “No thank you, i don’t think i can eat tonight.” In fact, she feels a bit nauseous, dizzy as her head overloads with unanswered questions.
