@Vampiretwilight You asked a strange question. Owning lots of land would necessarily make you wealthy, because land is a finite commodity forever in demand. The other choice, being wealthy with a single house is non-specific. It's a weird limitation too because what need would a person have for a house if they're very wealthy? Renting/leasing is infinitely easier when you're wealthy.

That being said,

There is a difference between being land rich and being wealthy, I think.
I learned that somewhere.

Also, they made a reference in Tim Burtons' corpse bride about that. lord and lady everglot in the move called themselves 'land rich, bankrupt aristocracy' meaning they had land but no money. It was why they were marrying off their daughter.

I'd rather old things got picked up and reexamined, refurbished, redone, and reduxed, but with the caveat that the people doing it have to care about it. If the only thought that goes into a project based on a pre-existing IP is that it will sell on brand recognition, it should stay dead. Otherwise, I welcome reboots. Some of the best media of the last two decades (a period which funnily enough, encompasses my entire awareness of these things) has come from old properties being revisited with a new mindset. Further to that, there's nothing to stop people from holding on to cherished memories of the original in spite of the new, and anybody who says otherwise, in my opinion, is being precious.
