Take them up as a vassal! Even though Tungsten is going through some stuff right now, he knows that AlphaQ would want them to have as many allies as they have enemies, big or small. Tungsten would suggest using Cormack's position within the village to encourage the villagers to curry favor with the Infactorium, and when the Empire come to battle we make it a point that a battle here will threaten the villagers.

If the Empire hold from attacking, we can use this opportunity to engage in peace talks/subterfuge. Subvert the empire from within.

If the Empire attacks, unleash a strong but precise show of our might, to make it clear that we are fully capable of standing up for not just ourselves but also out allies.

Mae would probably be the last one to offer her opinion on the matter, but since cooking is her passion she would be more in favor of good relations with the neighbors. Not only would it mean less bloodshed and potentially better markets for her food, but anyone coming after Infactorium would have to get through the the vassals first.

While I enjoy playing Mae of course, I've thought of a new (and probably much better) idea for a Factory sort of thing with its own NPCs and such that I'm a big fan of. Hopefully I'll get a chance to use it some time in the future.

Inspired a bit by both Blasphemous and the work of Mike Franchina, I was thinking about creating the legacy of a Strigiforme cleric who liked worldbuilding: the Apogean See. Essentially, a factory that's a cathedral with four main subsections, each providing some utility (such as the Scriptorium of the High One's Wisdom, which acted as an in-game repository for lore notes as well as data so that the guild members don't have to dive through external wikis and such) and overseen by an archangel. The basic idea of the place is that it revolves around a faith where heaven is a physical place above the atmosphere, and where one can attain the wings to fly there through prayer, meditation, communion, and transfiguration--a literal enlightenment. So everything has a bunch of added bird-themed horror, wings and feathers and skulls and nests and eggs and such, since birds are naturally the most holy of creatures on account of their ability to fly above the tainted world. So, sort of a twist on ascension and angels and all that. Figured it'd be neat.

I see, I see. I would let you change up, but things are already established. So, best I could do, if you want, it have that character be introduced somewhere down the line - either in an antagonist role or a ally role to Infactorium. We can discuss it in PMs, if you like.

And, speaking of posting. I am working on a post, but my schedule changed from two days off, to just Wednesday off, open Thursday, close Friday, and Saturday and Sunday off, only to get sick sometime between the two days I worked.

I've been short on brain cells. So, working on a post, but not quickly. Just wanted to let everyone know.

Alright, it's been a goddamn whirlwind of a week, and it's only been three days. I'm still sick, I quit my job Tuesday, and I've been battling writer's block like crazy, after writing up a huge sequence of events for another RP in the form of a 24-page summary/story in Verdana 9pt. 8.5x11 page.

But, I didn't wanna deliver a subpar post here, so hopefully, this gets everyone ready to start talking, lol

I would suggest that everyone decides on a speaking order in the OOC, so y'all can post with the ability to write reflectively - that is to say, whoever goes next can bounce off Gamma, then say, it was Mae that spoke, whoever goes after her that argue and/or agree with her points and Gamma's, so on, so forth, until the end. I believe, these meetings will be easier, if there's a pre-established speaking order, instead of everyone posting blindly, and hoping that someone doesn't steal their opening argument or, worse, entire argument.

If it makes it even easier, y'all can just post in your Supervisory position, so Gamma, Jazz, Levia, Cormac, and lastly Mae.
