Um, Plasmus was supposed to neutralize the ice shooter according to Strix's orders, but I guess that got over-looked. I'll get to work formulating a counter-strategy.

Vita, well there should be a million ways someone with Blast Girl's powers could do to neutralize Shade. And yes you're one of two people currently doing anything right now.

So... Considering just scrapping Natsumi and starting over with another character, since as much as I liked her she's not working out too well. Just need to figure out a new character, I guess, hopefully one that isn't as longwinded and overcomplicated. ^^; But we'll see how that goes.

I like Natsumi, we'll fight arcane enemies eventually and I have some interesting plots in mind for her.

But seeing as we seem to have lost some people, I'm allowing everyone to make a second character in conjunction with the first.

Hmmm, well, if that's the case I might just sideline her until the training exercise is over and pick her back up afterwards. I do like the idea (the fact that I wrote waaay too much for her makes that obvious, though ^^;), so if I'm allowed two characters I'll just focus on one over the other whenever I get block for one I guess. XD

I love writing her so much, honestly, just because of her fighting tactics. Well, and her attitude.

... Also my second character is going to be magic-based because she is going to be a 200-year-old Witch who also does detective things.

... Honestly who should be a priority target over the mooks since the hostages got away when the light flashed. He's not only the biggest threat but was in the position to kill a little kid if he wasn't stopped.

no I had Gabriel knock Twister away from the child and he made a run for it, but Gabriel got attacked by Locust. The child was out of danger when you made your post. Logically, since this about teamwork then Gabriel as a character would have a right to be critical of those who don't ask for backup.

okay now that I read through the IC again, I made a mistake.

Firstly, Blast Girl did ask for backup the one time she ran ahead(if Twister really got knocked a huge distance he probably just would've ran away before she could get there). Secondly Twister is still the most threatening person in the room aside from Locust even if he didn't have a kid as a hostage anymore. The mooks were very little threat at this point and with the hostages out of the way the villains are the priority.

If Blast Girl focused on the mooks, since no-one else is doing much of anything the villains would easily be able to escape.

Right so I'm either thinking for a badass normal type (the one I've spoken to you about previously Mr D) or a superstrong bruiser to provide some muscle, but I can't make up my mind to decide which. Any suggestions?

I might go with the bruiser since we actually have a dearth of muscle in my opinion but it's ultimately up to you.

And I'm going to get off my lazy ass and start updating the codex with a bunch of various background information. I'm not an expert on geopolitics or the supernatural so if anyone has any input feel free to share your thoughts and expertise.

Ok then I have a few different ideas for that then.

Either an kid genius Iron-man Expy with a mad scientist uncle.
A cyborg/Frankenstein cross, basically a man who's body is comatose, but has had his brainwaves implanted into a robotoic body.
A surly teenager with super strength and a chip on his shoulder, eager to show the world why he's the next big thing
or a private eye with a fake id and some skeletons in his closet, pursued by demonic cultists eager on harvesting his flesh.

Hmm decisions, decisions.
