can you just tell me if should try my assassin moves on the leader or if we are supposed to charge in with the other elves?

I think what you should do is wait for now and let the GM control the elves. You could write that you can see the enemy and tell the group what they might be facing. You could also tell them were the husband is. As for actual fighting, I'd still say wait, but when it does happen let the two warriors take lead while the Dalish and Airthel can provide cover support or something. Than your dude could sneak in, take out some bandits one by one, than get into a duel with the leader boss. But just so you know, he is not easy. He'll likely kill you in single combat. He's like, four levels higher than you and is wearing tier four equipment.

then I can wait. although wouldn't I have a slight advantage considering that it must be heavy and will also cause him to be slow while my leather armor will leave me nimble classic case of whether or not you want to make 1000 small cuts or one giant one if you ask me

1000 small cuts on Veridum Armor? It isn't going to do much good. And that's assuming the man in armor is going to be slow. He might not be able to outrun you, but engage him in melee and you'd see just how fast that Saw Sword can be swung. You need to land a 1000 hits not on his armor to do any good. He only needs one on you. Point is that you should use teamwork when you fight him instead of trying to beat him in honorable combat. And being that we're fighting bandits, you won't have an honorable fight.

fair point, I think it would work best if I made myself a distraction till everyone was done with their fight before surrounding him. even if I tried to use stealth it wouldn't work for long and although the damage would be great against that armor he would still be kicking either way

Assassins don't usually go for the big guy once their own big guy has pommeled them to get their attention (enter Corriach!). You could stealth and try to backstab some guys on the initial charge. Dont run in with the rest, sneak around and flank (but be careful of the wardens's trap). At least, that's my suggestion .

Just a side note, I am not actually a Gm and I have no idea where 21308. I just did some writing for him that was never used. I would try to move this on but there is nothing much I can do at this point.

Hmm. Not to try to instigate another mutiny, but perhaps one of us should try being a Co-GM for moments like these? One group is fighting demons and another is fighting (Or is about to) fight bandits. I could control bandit/Dalish movements if BlackSam3091, PerniciousIntent, and you have anything else to mention. I can also deal control the demons on the boat, though I'm wondering a little bit how many demons should be left. Let's say there are two left. I still don't know 21308 has in store for us, but maybe at least this way he'll be in a position to show us.

Sorry guys, I really didn't want to proceed with the encounter since nobody else has gotten much of a chance to do anything and my character was waiting on a response from Airthel. Also, in my defense, nobody PM'ed me. I don't really know why you'd consider me missing or whatever, but I'll admit I should probably have done more to help move things along. However, if that's what you want, then I suggest we do whatever we need to wrap this mission up ASAP and never speak of it again. I haven't lost interest in this RP, but I don't think I'm alone in saying that I have pretty much lost interest in this side-quest.

I mean, should kill the bandits off for you at this point? Only two of the five people who went to fight them have gotten to move, but I don't want to let this thing lag for too long and it's already been three days.

Maybe we should do one huge collab. I sort of wanted a boss fight, but I see that you have other plans for us. If we do a collab we all get to do what we want without having to wait for each other.
