Marco tugged on his coat as he watched a Lillipup staring at Rivet, eyes pleading of a challenge. Rivet's fur stiffened, watching the Pokemon with careful eyes. Marco then looked up to see a Pokemon Trainer approach him. One who was shorter and most likely not much younger than he was. "Hey," the kid said sheepishly, "Do you wish to battle? I know my Lillipup does and it would be a great honor to fight such a rare Pokemon."

Well, that was flattering. Definitely an interesting start to this new journey. "It's not up to me, it's up to her," he replied, looking down at his companion. The Absol glanced up at her trainer and their eyes met for a moment. Yes, she wishes to battle. To confirm it, she even nodded. "Alright, she's game for it," he put his hands in his pockets and looked at the boy, "We accept your challenge wholeheartedly."

Soulless puts his shoes onto the tarmac as he steps over to his side. "take ur position over there" he cries to the other trainer

Fang steps forward and firmly stances in the sand covering the tarmac waiting for the absol to take its first move

Marco leaned back on his heels a little, waiting for the trainer to speak. "Well, the battle grounds are quite close to here, actually," the boy remarked rather happily. Well, that was honestly very convenient, Marco had to admit. "Right then. Lead the way if you would." And so, the boy began to walk and Marco began to trek behind him, occasionally glancing down at Rivet.

The Absol walked with confidence. She was going to win this battle.

Marco certainly hoped his Absol's pride would live up to her fighting style. Truth be told, they had battled with each other a dozen times before, but it had been a while since they had actually battled. Neither trainer talked and soon, they were at the battle grounds, just as the boy had promised. Hearing a shout from the other boy, Marco took his place on the battlefield, "Alright," he shouted back, "You can have the first move."

dropping his calm demeanor With passion blazing in his eyes Soulless cried "Fire Fang on the Tarmac" Fang instantly stuck his teeth into the tarmac the heat melting it into a sticky mess Now use tackle. Effectively transgressing the tar it charged towards the absol the look of determintion in its eyes Soulless smiled he was not gonna lose not yet not now.

Dawn reached the Pokemon Center just as Dewy was waking up. She walked in and handed the nurse her other two Pokemon (still in their Pokeballs) and Dewy. The nurse came back quickly and Dawn let Dewy climb up onto her shoulder and she left the Pokemon center. "Squirtle!" Dewy exclaimed at her trainer who rolled her eyes. "No Dewy. We're going to let Star rest for a little bit longer. You forgot that she carried you half way here after her last battle." Dawn said to her Pokemon.

"Go Typhoon." Tyler called put as he released his Piplup. "Typhoons use Water Sport." It quickly started getting very humid as Water Sport took effect. "Now use Bubble on the ground to spread them all over." Typhoons looked confused as he shot Bubbles at the ground. However the bubbles settled all over the field as they became effective land mines.

Slugman jumps back as the bubble surrounded him. David cured but had a idea. "Slugman use Dragonbreath and destroy the bubbles." The pokemon took in some air and blasted out a green gas destroying the bubbles. David smiled as the path was clear. "Now usen Dragon Pulse." The pokemon's mouth opened and a small light began charging. It then fired a small purple beam at Typhoons.

Takashi walked into the Petalburg with Fenfen walking in front of him slightly. As he walked in he saw a fight going on. It was just what he was looking for people to battle with to test the strength of Fenfen, Kipkip, and Chichi. He knew they weren't the strongest but they definitely decently strong.

As she spoke with her Pokemon, a fellow trainer crashed into her, possibly knocking the two over. Tina falls over, landing on her butt, rubbing her forehead from the collision. Zorua falls off her shoulders and cries at the other trainer and her Pokemon, though Amy is quick to calm it.

"I'm so sorry. Should've been looking where I was going..." She apologises to Dawn, now getting to her feet.

Dawn fell down also and Dewy tumbled off her shoulder. "It's fine! It's also my fault, I was talking to my Pokemon." Dawn said standing up and scooping up her Squirtle who was dazed. She pushed her brown hair back from her face. "I'm Dawn and this is my Squirtle, Dewy." Dawn said introducing herself and her Pokemon

"Amy. This here is Z, or Zorua, I don't really rename my Pokemon." She replies, putting her Zorua back on her shoulders, which snuggles comfortably around her shoulders. "I have a tendency to run into people. It's...weird."

"Yea I do to but that's normally when I'm in a town. I spend most of my time wandering forest trying to level my Pokemon and catch new Pokemon. So far I've been pretty unsuccessful on the second one." Dawn said as her Squirtle finally came back to her senses.

"Are you going to challenge the gym?" Tina asks, seemingly enthused. "I'm thinking about it, though I hear the leader is fairly tough..."

Ariella looked at Tozac smiling at him. "I might go to the gym but then again....I want to go to a pokemon contest!" All she wanted to do was to get her pokemon ribbons! They were all cute and they have very good skills! So why not participate on the contest? "I cant wait for you to battle the gym! If you are."

"man, I don't want to get any ribbons why would any of my pokemon want that?" he said pretending like his kirlia wasn't a girl. He was always trying to keep the idea of being a pansy away, it was annoying to be pester for being so. Still if his friend did he would do the same, or atleast watch and root her on. "man I have to say, I didn't think we'd make it this far"

"Yea I am. I have to get my other two Pokemon healed before I went towards the gym though." Dawn said as her Squirtle climbed back up onto her shoulder. "I hope whoever the trainer is isn't too tough. I don't know if I could win a battle." Dawn said a little glumly. She really didn't trust her battle abilities or being able to keep Dewy under control long enough to WIN a battle with the unruly Pokemon.

"Typhoon, get out of the way!" Tyler and yelled as Typhoons tried to roll out of the way. He was clipped slightly but otherwise fine. "Get in close and use Peck." He called to Typhoon as he ran towards Slugman and started to rapidly Peck at him.

Slugman was hit by the repeated peck but had a idea."Use Acid Armor Slugman!" The Pokemon glowed and became a bit harder. Slugman looked like it was taking the hits better but David said "Now use protect." Slugman glowed again and a shield surrounded it, The pokemon fended off the pecks and jumped back. It was still ready to battle. "Your piplup is strong." David said smiling

"You'll do fine. Just keep a level head and trust your instincts, as well as your Pokemon." Tina replies, pulling out a small circular lollie from her pocket and chewing it. "Well, I've gotta go get Zorua healed up. I don't think he'll partake in the battle, but I still want him ready, just in case. I'll see you around. Maybe you'll be kicking the leaders butt when I get there!" Without awaiting a reply, Amy walks into the Pokemon Centre.

'I'm going to have to play the waiting game now, his defense is too high for me to do any real damage. Unless...' "Typhoon take off the Everstone." He commanded as Typhoon suddenly reached behind his back. It pulled off a stone with tape attached to it and began to glow. After a brief moment the glow faded to reveal Typhoon had eveolved into a Prinplup. Tyler quickly scanned Typhoon with his pokedex to check his moves and then smiled."Rush him, and then use Metal Claw!" He commanded as Typhoon rushed Slugman. His wing began glowing a bright silver as Typhoon struck with Metal Claw.
