Btw, still on the topic of weapons, seeing as this is a fantasy realm with I assume at least a few fantasy beast I'd imagine some weapons would different then anything from our world.

After all, you'd want specially crafted tools/tactics to deal with wyverns or a Minotaur.

And that's not even getting into the realm of magic, A well placed fire ball or most AOE spells would be a nightmare for a tight formation. Just imagine what an otherwise average spell like chain lightening would do to a column. Partly why I wanted to know how magic worked in this setting. Allot of fantasy elements would reshape a battlefield from what we might recognize from normal middle age battles.

Magic needs to be rare in order for balance to work out, otherwise the battlefield as Khan pointed out would be absolutely insane. Magic needs to be one of the few things an Orc fears.

- Ex gladiators
- Former Drow slaves.
- Unusual half-Orc crossbreedings
- exiled Tribal nobility
- exiled Tribal shaman
- Son/daughter of exiles

Just gonna post my character to the sheet thread, and work on the backstory tomorrow. Also, if anyone wants to talk about pre-set relationships prior the IC, I'm all for it. I think my character would be fond of a few of ya's, even if he does have a justified hatred for the concept of life, doesn't mean he still can't be friendly with his own kind heheh.

My character would get along great with yours Imagination. He's an ex-slave to elves and also a motormouth with a knack for picking up languages, while being a damn good bowman to boot. If he found an orc with some exotic knowledge to share and a good temperment to not cut his head off for talking too much, he'd strike up a friendship quickly.

Double Edit, because fuck the Double Post: There are still several noticeable abscesses that could be filled: An Archer, a Shaman, a Falconer or some other Animal handler that does use Wargs and a Smith all jump into my head
