Eden was prepared to organize their escape, looking around for a possible route, and trying to figure out what way was west. Hyemon had been waiting anxiously to see what his partner would do, it was very odd considering Yeyemon's earlier brash attitude. Eden was getting ready to head into the tree when two things stopped him, the claim of cowardice shout out to everyone and his own digimon refusing to move too the woods with him. The other kid was right, if they let these small childlike creatures risk their lives only for the kids to run and hide, they would be cowards. Yeyemon finally spoke up, "I can see it on your face. All you've gotta do is trust us Eden." The words snapped Eden from his thought, the digimon was right together they could probably take down this monster. "Go for it Yeyemon, Ill be behind you every step of the way."

Together they ran headlong towards the purple mole, Eden took a detour to a pile of brush to find a stick or something, meanwhile Yeyemon shouted out as he leaped into a tree and off into thenair getting on Drimogemon's back. "Digimon we can protect them. Together! BOOM BALLS!" He shouted as he attack dropped the spots right of his body, as the last of them fell from his body he jumped off the backside of Drimogemon. After he hit the ground the spots that fell off his body began to trigger small explosions, enough of them to make Drimogemon hit the ground.

Eden found no stick but he found some rocks and turned back to the fight in time to see the attack his digimon started, Eden was very impressed, seeing how none of it even made sense. "Hit 'em again Yeyemon!" Eden began to throw the rocks at the Drimogemon's face. Eden's faith in his partner grew while he assisted him from the edge of battle, and as it did a purple light began glow faintly in his pocket, the same had begun happening to the others who to were growing faithful in their partners.

Jake forced himself to stand, flinching a little as his right arm stung with pain. This was too realistically painful to be a dream, though his eyes narrowed slightly at a slight blue glow of particles that seeped from a torn sleeve. He didn't have time to worry about it, for now he had to focus on their current predicament. The blonde boy watched as everyone's Digimon attacked the much larger one. Blue eyes glancing around, he saw Pagumon blow another shot of bubbles against the Drimogemon's eyes before getting a nice heavy swat.

Pagumon bounced off the ground, ears flapping a little to get back up right before glaring at the Champion though flinched when she tried to fly. Jake quickly went over and stood in front of the floppy eared round Digimon. His body ached, but he didn't move as Drimogemon's drill like nose started to spin.

"I refuse to fight... But I also refuse to let anyone I can help get hurt." he muttered softly. Jake didn't like fighting, and he refused to do it... He found little point in it and a bit unfair. But if he could protect someone, he would.

Jake blinked as a blue light shined from his pocket, and he pulled it out to see a weird looking digital device. Though he glanced up as Drimogemon roared. "Iron Drill Spin!" and shoved its nose toward them.

"Jake!" he heard Pagumon yell and a bright blue glow emitted from the small Digimon.

Pagumon's whole body glowed a gentle blue light, similar to the odd device, the small body morphing into a larger form. "Pagumon... Digivolve too..." came Pagumon's voice before suddenly turning into a rougher rugged feminine voice.

"Gazimon!" came the shout, the blue light bursting in a flash to reveal a feline bunny like creature. Dark grey fur with black claws on its paws and a black ring on the long tail, and golden eyes.

Gazimon jumped, claws out before diving into the ground. "Pitfall!" she shouted, and with tremendous speed, dug under the Champion, the ground collapsing under the larger Digimon and causing it to fall. Bursting from the ground, the rookie turned and puffed her chest and breathed a purple gas with sparks of electricity surrounding it.

"Electric Stun Blast!" Gazimon breathed, the cloud hitting the Champion when it resurfaced. It roared and froze, seeming stunned momentarily by the attack.

Jake blinked in surprise and stared at Gazimon who glanced back at him, now standing on two legs and giving a cocky grin and thumbs up.

Finding a large staff, something like a twisted, tense piece of wood; Cayden picked it up off the ground and was surprised with his acceptance of the weapon. It wasn't too heavy, neither too light... It felt good in his hand, as if it could do some serious damage. And against a monster with a drill on his head that's exactly what he wanted to do.

A cry tore his eyes from the stick. He looked up only to see Tsunomon flying through the air, the outskirts of the dense forest a window to the scene. One of the boys had pushed him out the way, saved him. But now Tsuno was flying through the sky. “Tsunomon! I'm coming!” He barked, dropping the stick as he ran towards his friend.

Running as hard as he could, he was ignorant of the dazzling light emitting from his pants pocket. But gazing up at Tsunomon, he noticed the brillance covering him. Tsunomon was as bright as a beacon, it forced him to halt. He raised his arm over his eyes and a moment later, felt the force of a blast push him backwards.

He couldn't comprehend what had happened. What was that blast? Where did it come from? And where was Tsunomon? He asked himself as he caught his breath. “Tsunomon!” yelled the youth, his eyes still adjusting to the lesser light.

“Call me Hackmon, Cay. That's my new name.” A adolescent, roguish voice told him.

Slowly he lowered his arm. “New name? This isn't the time for jokes,” He said, un-amused. His arm fell to his side, and in front of him, facing off with the side of a struggling Drimogemon; was a gleaming white dragon. Armor plated with white steel and powerful yellow eyes... a crimson mantle swaying from its neck. It literal took his breath away.

“Who are you?” Cayden asked.

“I'm the person that's going to save this worrrld!” He yelled, a roar echoing with his final word.

A painful growl escaped the enemy as a gray-furred digimon attacked it; it was new to the struggle as well. In fact, now that he looked around, there was light everywhere. “This is crazy,” he muttered to himself. The background noise of the battle, the tremoring as the enemy fell to his back, the eerie screech of a foreign noise. It all added to his confusion.

Hackmon growled with white passion before leaping towards the Digimon. High in the sky, he let loose glistening flames from his maw; the burning stream exploding inside the hole Drimogemon was trapped in. The damage was maximized, leaving the Digimon barely alive inside, still struggling to get out.

Cayden rubbed the back of his head, unknowingly snapping the goggles hanging off his neck against his throat. The pain brought clarity to his thoughts, it made everything clearer. He watched Hackmon fall back to the ground off to the side of it. And knew then, as his motions were undeniably similar to Tsunomons, that they were related some in form. He ran up behind the Digimon, ready to fight with him. “After this, you're going to tell me where Tsunomon is,” He demanded.

Karin watched as the Digimon kept attacking the monster, still unsure on whether she should fight or run. The choice became easier though when she noticed all the other kids were joining the battle. "Still not sure if this the right thing, but if I don"t help out I'll never get the guts to fight." Now that her mind was made up she copied Eden and started throwing rocks. However rather than just aiming at the face in general she took her time and to maximize the damage she could do by going for the monster's eyes.

Sechsmon hadn't noticed yet that his Tamer had joined the battle but he did see that two of the other Digimon had just Digivolved which greatly increased their chances of winning, though he knew it would still come down to their numbers. Using the opportunity created when the former Pagumon managed to stun Drimogemon he climbed on its unguarded back. Unaware of the rock throwing humans the small insect Digimon had an idea that was similar to his Tamer's, namely to go for the eyes.

However due to bad luck and bad timing this meant that Karin accidentally hurt her own partner, just as Sechsmon was about to ram his horn six times into the eyeball.While the rock did hurt, the worst part was that this distracted the in Training Digimon causing him to lose his balance when Drimogemon moved again.While the fall itself wasn't so bad, the landing was, as Sechsmon fell on his back. Before he could get back up, Drimogemon caught him under one of his claws leaving him helpless.

Karin who saw what happened to her small partner was worried. "That huge mole creature migh squash him like a bug." Remembering that one of the Digimon said something about fighting to protect the humans, she was about to rush in to help her partner without thinking, when Hackmon sent his flames down into the hole both her partner and their attacker were trapped.

Certain that Sechsmon had been roasted alive, she froze again with a horrified expression on her face. She didn't even notice the bright red glow coming from her pocket. Luckily for Sechsmon the fact that he was trapped underneath the Champion Digimon protected him from the flames, but the constant weight and pressure were dong some serious damage to him. In fact the damage was so bad that one of his legs had already dissolved. "Looks this is it for me.I just hope the other are okay." However he barely finished what he thought would be his last words, when he felt a sudden burst of energy and started to glow.

Alex noticed that the others were no longer running and now they were standing their ground encouraging the talking little heads to recklessly fight the giant mole thing. Alex wasn't big on the risking his own life, even if this was a dream. "Crusher Bone!" The large mole shouted as it seemed to pull a bone from nowhere and hurled it in Alex's direction, the others were preoccupied.

"Allie!" Chicchimon shouted jumping towards Alex, messing his name up intentionally since Alex had yet to get his correct. There was no way the little bird would matter to the large bone flying towards the boy, that's when a light erupted from Alex's pocket. It was a yellow glow, that also seemed to emanate from Chicchimon as well. "Chicchimon digivolve to... Penmon!"

"Ice Prism!" A new voice called out as a blast of ice hit the bone and caused it to drop to the ground. Chicchimon was nowhere to be seen, however now there was a blue penguin creature standing before Alex. "Well I hope you can't mess up Penmon." He said as he turned towards Drimogemon and Launched himself into the battle.

Alex looked up several others had also been replaced by larger creatures. The angry rabbit was seemingly replaced by one with a body, and the horned creature was nowhere to be seen, however some white armored dragon looking creature had joined the battle. "Where'd Chicky go?" Alex asked confused, he had just realized that chicky was now a penguin, definitly stranger than anything he could think of.

"Digivolve to, Hyemon." The purple light washed over Yeyemon as he changed form into a Hyena like monster. The spots on his coat turned to 'X's and he gained sinister looking mask over his face. Eden was amazed as Yeyemon transformed along with the other digimon, the amazement only grew as their digimon fought back and began to gain ground against the purple mole.

Hyemon charged at drimogemon, "Wild Dog Roulette." His mane stood on end and he began to role into a spinning saw blade, reminiscent of the classic sonic the hedgehog, his speed doubled and he slammed into the purple digimon sending it reeling with the help of the others. Drimogemon realized that it was outmatched and dug back into the ground to live and fight another day.

Hyemon ran back to Eden to ensure that he was alright, after confirming this he began to tease his partner. "You throw like a numemon." Hyemon said with a distinctive chuckle. The humor was completely lost on Eden as he had no idea what a numemon was, he ignored the bait and ran back to where the fight had ended to regroup with the others, and first thing was first they had to check for injuries. "Did anybody get hurt." he asked as they all gathered, "I think i may know basic first aid. But maybe not sorry."

The battle was over. All of them had done their parts and now the purple mole had ran away with its drill between its legs. Even still, Cayden couldn't help but be... for lack of a better word; disturbed. Tsunomon had up and vanished and now, this white plated dragon stood in front of him; seemingly radiating this Tsunomon aura. It was like he had grown more mature or something.

After some explaining from Hackmon; again, he stood off from the rest of them. “So... you're Tsunomon; Just... evolved?”

“Right,” He answered, flashing a draconian smile accentuated by the immaculate armor nearing its maw.

Cayden looked up at the others, the red-head running up to the group. It was like instinct for him to distance himself even further. Holding his left forearm to the stop the bleeding from a stray projectile, probably a rock or splinter, he took even more steps back; eventually finding his tree on the edge of the clearing again.

“Hey? Why do you stray from them every time they get close to us?”

Cayden shrugged his shoulders at the question, more instinctual than deliberate. “Who knows, I don't like people I guess.”

“I can see why,” He agreed to Cayden's surprise. “They were all cowards when it came down to it.” His red mantle billow from a small gale.

Wide eyed from Hackmon's revelation, Cay slowly shook his head in disapproval. “No, not cowards. Just not use to fighting. Humans are amazing, you'll see.”

For a moment, Cayden just stared at the group. He wanted to separate himself from them; it was a need not a want; too many of them for his own likings. When he heard a growing hum coming from below him, a sound of excitement, he looked down only to see Hackmon's overly admiring eyes.

“I think you're amazing, Cay!” Shouted the small-dragon, his large paws jumping up at the youth and being clasped in his hands. Again, that feeling tugged at Cay's heart. He wondered if this was what they called longing.

He pulled his hands from the creature's paws and turned his side to it, pink flushing his cheeks; making him ruffle his own hair in embarrassment. “You shouldn't openly say things like that, its shameful y'know?” He clambered out.

After the battle was over, Jake gave a sigh of relief, glad the large Digimon left without getting seriously hurt before sitting down on the ground and catching his breathe. Gazimon snorted and crossed her arms as she went over to her partner and glared her golden gaze at him, about to scold him before halting as her fluffy long ears heard Hackmon's words. A snarl escaped her as she turned her fierce glare onto the armored dragon, taking a few steps toward him.

"Cowards?! If it wasn't for you my partner wouldn't have gotten hurt like that! Did you forget humans are known to be way more fragile than us Digimon?! Learn the definition of coward you overgrown lizard! Considering everyone stayed behind to save your sorry tail! Sorry excuse for a king who can't even tell what's going on around him and is so easily insulting the subjects!" the gray furred feline like creature snarled like some scary demon.

"Um... Pa--- Gazimon. You don't need to get so mad. Hackmon did a excellent job. You all did." Jake said, trying to soothe his partner with a friendly smile though blinked as Gazimon turned her golden glare on the blonde.

"Shut up!" Gazimon hissed as she stormed over to the human. "And you! What kind of idiot with no fighting ability, dislikes fighting, and has a fragile body like you stupid humans jumps into the middle of a fight like that?! You moron!" she roared, wacking her left paw against his head, though was careful not to strike him with her claws.

"Sorry." Jake apologized while he blinked at every wack and smiled softly at the scolding Digimon. Despite the temper, Jake could tell she just cared about everyone. In her own way at least.

"Idiots like you do not get to apologize! Alright, you got hit so take off your shirt!" Gazimon commanded, seeming to want to look for any injuries.

Jake paused before glancing toward everyone else before opening his mouth to comment before Gazimon gave a impatient groan and was practically trying to rip the piece of cloth from his body. He flailed a little as the now bigger partner seemed quite a bit stronger. Not wanting his clothes so horribly damaged, he removed his jacket and shirt in defeat. Sparks of data flowed from his arm and from the right side of his waist where the rock impacted him.

Gazimon snorted before sniffing the injuries in examination.

Ignoring the shirtless Eye candy Karin ran over to where their attacker came out from the ground, hoping to see the small green figure of Sechsmon. Instead she saw some kind of bipedal stag beetle in brown and grown armor slightly shorter than she was. While she did see the other Digimon change forms she was still unsure if this was her partner or if he died and thus disintegrated. "Hey Karin glad to see you are doing okay."

While he sounded different in this form the fact that this Digimon knew her name was enough for Karin to accept that it used to be the six legged blob she met earlier that day. "Oh I almost forgot, but please call me Hirschmon from now on." Using his new wings Hirschmon flew over to the humans and other Digimon. Having heard the discussion everyone had, while understandably too preoccupied with their own worries to notice him he decided to give his own two cents. "Look at this way when Drimogemon attacked we a bunch of in-training Digimon and unarmed humans not only fought him, a champion, off without any casualties, we all managed to Digivolve."

After the battle Alex pulled a strange device from his pocket and was looking it over. "Penmon is it? I still prefer Chicky." he teased a bit. He took in the look of each new digimon. The one horned creature was now an armored dragon with a sick mantle. The red haired boy had a hyena or something, Angry Rabbit was now an angrier rabbit, and next to the only girl wa now some bipedal beetle. And of course Chicky as Alex dubbed him had became a penguin.

Alex's eyes were drawn to Jake's side. Where there should at least been the start of a nasty bruise, instead were specks of light similar to the ones around Gokuwmon. "Ok, that is not normal." For the first time he began to think this was not a crazy dream. After all people are supposed to bleed, Alex knew that, if this was his dream Jake would of been bleeding if anything.

"What are you talking about? Everymon knows that when you get hurt your data starts to break down." Penmon said lookingat Jake's wounds. "This is nothing he should be fine tomorrow."

"Wait, what?" Alex was confused, normal? How could specks of light be normal. "I don't even understand how you guys Digivolved or whatever its called."

"Well you see, normally it takes a very long time, but I guess since we wanted to protect you guys, those weird devices you helped sped it along."

Their group wasn't quite on the same page with each other this much was obvious, and this place was very dangerous. Eden thought if they split up they may never meet back up and that is was possible they could die out here.

When Jake removed his shirt, Eden was as shocked as the others were when the saw the glittering pixels. "I don't think I know what to do about something like that." Eden said very lost at the situation. I think we should leave that to, ummm, the digimon for now. He backed off to give Gazimon the room she needed, and spotted Alex and father off in the trees the kid who kept secluding himself. Eden and Hyemon first walked over to Alex, "Alex, can I borrow you for a minute.", he asked and without waiting for an answer guided him towards the kid standing away from group. Hyemon followed while quietly snickering to himself, "Things are getting boring. Maybe I should liven it up just a bit, but maybe not." He continued to argue with himself quietly contemplating whether he should start some mischief.

Eden called the the boy as he approached, not having a name to call the boy it came out as a bunch of 'heys'. "I never caught your name, my name is Eden. Whats yours?" He had brought Alex with him in hopes to have another mind on the subject, and seeing as he determined they should be west, he figured him to be a bit smart. "Bottom of the line is we need to figure out which way is west. Do any of you five know which way that would be?" Without some sort of direction they were just lost weren't they, not a good start to an adventure he thought.

Cayden & Hackmon

Hackmon was fuming just as soon as he felt her challenge. The white-plated dragon stepped forwards to meet the other Digimon, his mantle flowing against the soft eddies. Gazimon was angry about what he had said, and the others probably were too. He could accept that, anger was natural, but lecturing him was beyond her bounds. She was right, he was going to be King and they were his subjects. She was but one being that he had to reign in.

“Lizard?! Sorry excuse?!” he repeated, appalled by her words. “I call em like I see'em Gazimon. You and everyone else ran! Don't lecture me on what we all saw. Humans may be fragile but their capable too, just like us. They don't have to stay cowards.”

Cayden interfered but not before Alex had. “You don't have to prove anything to anyone Hackmon,” uttered the boy as he appeared at his side, hands tucked coolly in his pockets. With a impassive glance towards Alex, he forced out his next words. “Thanks but next time don't do me any favors. Your partner is blaming mines for your actions.”

Hackmon snarled back, showing a row of razor teeth as the two return to the shade of the trees. Cay outstretched a leg before resting a arm on a knee and passively peered off at nothing in particular. Of course it would be him with the noisy and oddly inspiring partner.

Hackmon nudged him with his snout before sitting on his haunches. “Thanks for having my back, Cay. It meant a lot to me,” explained the Digimon, his voice light with sentiment. “As a King I can't back down from confrontation. Or at least, that's what I feel.”

“Sometimes retreat is the best strategy,” he countered, tossing plucked grass off to the side while spotting the red-head approaching and calling out to him. “... Great, what now?” he muttered lowly, positive that only Hackmon would hear.

“Maybe they want to apologize to their King,” Hackmon raised on all paws, confident.

“I doubt it, King Arthur,”

Raising off the ground, it took just a moment for Hackmon and him to reach them. He stuffed a hand in his pocket before discerning Eden with a slightly agitated, but mostly composed stare. “... Cayden.” Already he could feel his gut twisting and knotting up. So many people were around him, so many leeching the energy from him. It was quickly turning him grouchy.

“The west? Why head west?” Hackmon asked, metal tail swaying behind him. “I'm not all the way sure but I don't think theres too much out that way.”

Karin was watching the argument between Hackmon and Gazimon. But while she thought they both had some good points she didn't have the guts to say anything, fearing that one of them might think she was picking sides.

Hirschmon on the other hand lacked those reservations and stepped up. "Look each of you makes a good point, and maybe the humans would be able to help if they had some weapons next time." He did agree however that there was no particular reason to go west, but he felt that staying here would be unwise in case more enemies showed up. Rather than say something he simply slowly headed off in the western direction.

When Karin saw her partner walk away from the other she wondered if she follow him but while she was sure that the bipedal bug would come back for her; she had no idea if the others would go along with her if she left as well.

"If you hadn't noticed we didn't want to run away, and the pacifist human was the first to come your stupid aid! Yes, humans may be capable, but tell me, did you ever think that these particular ones have any experience or were mentally prepared for this?! They are kids, lizard and probably weren't expecting to get thrown here from their cozy little homes into fighting giant weird creatures! Of course they're scared you stone for brained idiot! That's why we need to stay with them! We are their only friends in this new world to them! So if you ask me, you're the coward to expect rookie human children, with no weapons, to fight your battles right out the gate! How about you think about how others feel, or would you rather have people so below you throw themselves to their death?! So yes, until you figure out what's wrong with you, you're a sorry excuse for a king... No... For a Digimon you stupid---!!!" Gazimon shouted, fur bristling and claws out as she turned toward Hackmon's with fangs barred, showing no respect or fear toward the dragon digimon. Though she was going to say more Jake picked her up, putting a hand on her muzzle before smiling at the dragon.

"Sorry. I didn't do it to owe you a favor, I did it because I didn't want you hurt. So you don't owe me anything." Jake said softly before setting the flailing Gazimon down who glanced to Hirschmon before scoffing, moving to a tree and scrapping some bark off with her claws and handing it to Jake. "Chew it, it will make you feel better." she said.

Jake obeyed and chewed on the bark, watching the feline bunny creature cross her arms over her chest. "Why are you so hard on Hackmon? He was just doing what he thought was best." he said softly to his Digimon.

Gazimon snorted, long flappy ears flicking slightly. "Because I hate Digimon like him the most. Proclaiming to be king when they don't know the first thing about it. In truth, they just want others under their feet to serve their every need. It may start off with good intentions, but they only end up as tyrants. He's no better then Devimon." she answered quietly with a scoff to Jake.

"How do you know what makes a good king?" Jake asked thoughtfully.

The golden gaze that had glowed so fierce and angry just a moment ago, faded briefly into one of sorrow. "Because I've experienced the bad." Gazimon muttered before eyes hardening again. "So someone like that, will never be my king." she said.

" Would you want to be king?" Jake asked.

"No. I wouldn't make a good one either." she answered, watching as Jake put on his shirt and jacket before glancing to the others.

Jake lightly patted the top of Gazimon's head before looking at the others as they conversed where to go, all the while chewing on the bark before standing up as the insect like Digimon started wandering off. Not wanting to just leave anyone on her own, he started following it. "Well, either way, we can't stay in one place. There may be more hostile Digimon and not moving probably will make us bigger targets." he said softly. Glancing toward the others and frowning softly in concern as the man known as Cayden seemed quite uncomfortable. Perhaps he really was just not a people person.

"If you have any other ideas, please share." Gazimon said sarcastically as she followed Jake with a huff. It's not like any of them knew where the keys were, not like they were given a general direction to go anyhow. For all they knew, they keys could be buried in the middle of no where.

"Doesn't the sun move a certain way? I think it had something to do with West, but that science stuff isn't my thing." Alex sighed. He wasn't even sure if the sun behaved the same in this world. For all he knew it it traveled Northwest to Southeast. "Honestly, we don't even know if that will be helpful, but I doubt we have anything else go on."

"Why are we standing around trying to figure out some stupid direction. We should just spin around point and go in that direction." Penmon said as he spun around and stopped. His arm pointed straight a head of them and he started to march only for Alex to grab him.

"Not so fast we can't all go in different directions we have no way to let the others know if we find anything." Alex said holding tightly onto the penguin. "I guess we should vote or something. Follow the sun or pick a random direction." Clearly Alex would vote for the sun, and Penmon's vote would go to random direction but that still left 8 other votes, he prayed it wouldn't be a tie. "So Guys, what are your votes?"
