I always thought of Swan Song more like a finale. I think it has something to do with the fact that swans make beautiful noises when they die. So when they do go down, they go down in a great ball of fire and epicness. Or so I hope so.

And with Ebon posted I'll try to have everyone move on from this unfortunate event and head to the party.

Assuming the Ogdoad doesn't just go after Ebon, I figured he could defeat it with his R-Types. Doing it like the games, he'll just have to make sure to dodge extensively, shoot the weak points, and use his wave cannon strategically.

And that is exactly why everyone is telling you Ebon is overpowered. The Ogdoad is a Riesen Class Grimm. No one is supposed to be able to defeat it on there own without five years of Beacon training and a great deal of field experience. The last Riesen Class that was encountered in this RP took a god damn tank to deal with it.

Also it has a bit of an obsession with devouring his R-Types so avoiding being targeted might not be an option.

Sapphire will appreciate the effort but the materials for her new weapons arrive Tuesday IC time. She'll have a reforged copy of Morpheus and Phobator (which will be named Somnus and Melinoe) by the end of this time skip coming up.

Regardless, Shiro is going to get them. If Sapphire replaces them with newer and better versions, so be it. It's the thought that goes behind it. It was his fault those precious daggers were lost. He's gonna get them back to her, end of story xD.

@Lugubrious I know I won the contest but is there any criticism you can offer me or anything you especially liked? I am attempting to improve my writing so feedback both positive and negative is important.

Did we receive three credits for our mission at the Shelter? Cause I'm adding up my total from the contests and my calculations show I should have ten credits while the doc says I have thirteen.
