I was just thinking- Almost everyone, from what I've seen, has largely already set up their religions, but would anyone want a moderately sized demographic of Triarchates worshiping the Ternion in their country? It'd help me by expressing the Contagious Culture thing and would also help Mr. Grand Triarchate by giving him something more to do.

The Vath worship a pantheon. Something I did deliberately since it allows for the incorporation of (foreign) deities. You can assume your god/goddess/gods are being worshipped in Vath albeit under a different shape or name.

@Sini Times are tough, my advisors say that hamsters are the best substitute for horse in cost-per-work load. Personally I think they just wanted an excuse to put a hamster in armor and call it Sire Squiggles

It's possible but iffy with the Fulmen Nati. They are perfectly open to the existence of gods and pantheons other than their own, and they are also open to the worship of aforementioned gods and pantheons. . .Just so long as THEIRS come first.

Between the Hallucinogenic Incense, the rather well-educated Priesthood, and the fact that literally 100% of the population is Effulgent - it might be difficult to cram in a weirdo mini-pantheon with only one major god that doesn't carry any of the same perks worshiping the native religion does. I am open to suggestions though.

If you read about the Mazdacs, they are utterly insane but in a weird way they actually are tolerant and quite good at coexisting with other religions. Similarly to the Fulmen Nati they have no problem woth other gods. I vaguely mentioned that the Mazdac even affirms the existencd of some other gods, so Ternion could be a part of it.

Maybe your religion could exist in a sort of limbo, partially incorporated by the Mazdac to varying degrees? Some places might reject the Ternion totally, some might see it as a cult, some as a minor pantheon, some as nearing the status of Selijuk, etc.

I should also say that the thing I'd be having Grand Triarchate do is set up a new Ziggurat. @Cyclone, I could see him visiting your nation in person (With a supervising outfit of Oathguards), but @Terminal and @Sini, yours could be fun, as well; perhaps trying to set up a Ziggurat would offend some, though, and require he do it in secret/cleverly? That could be interesting.

Vathcras is filled with pyramids and ziggurats. They're quite religiously tolerant, comes from being a bastard culture I guess.

Sure, he could come over and try to build the ziggurat and spread his faith. There are a few possible locations, like in the middle of nowhere to try founding a settlement just for the Ternion. I haven't written about the cities yet on my sheet, but Dhirim is essentially a giant mine/factory, Alaba is a wealthy port with the most cultural diversity, Khazard is the holy city of the Mazdac (might be interesting because your Grand Triarchate could meet the Blind Prophet), and Marad is a massive fortress-city that is the capital.

The Inshingu faith isn't the most tolerant of heathens, but most people within Ryukyu lands don't care as most of the priestesses and nuns are absolute adorable/beautiful. Said priestesses and nuns also have enough training to go into the army and kick the ass of any one who attempts to break into their shrines. :3

In all seriousness though, Ryukyu isn't too tolerant and willing since they currently have religious turmoil due to older, native religions going extreme and fucking shite up. They see any new religion as adding napalm to the fire.

Yeah, I think what I'll do is have the Grand Triarchate head into Azraca (Meeting the Blind Prophet does sound cool) to try and scope out some suitable land to build a new Grand Ziggurat, all the while another team of Triarchates (probably some that are respected and looked up to or something) head into Vathcras and try and make something happen. Probably a wooden lesser Ziggurat. That's the perfect world idea, though.

Pilgrimage, ho!

I'll be posting as a bunch of different losers, I know that much. I'll also be inviting a few of you to collabs where I think it's appropriate.

This is the way to go. Your nation will do things, your rulers will decide on matters. Whether you tell us via the eyes of a peasant, dung-merchant or princeling is up to you.

As far as I am concerned you can get started on your IC posts. I'm going to finalise the map tomorrow (taking Captain's request in consideration). Cold will likely be bumped north or west.

If we do start posting IC in the next day or two, I assume it would be okay for me to start IC if I still have one or two sections of my sheet a work in progress?

If not I'll stop with the one or two paragraphs per day and sit myself down for an hour or two to finish this sheet off all in one go.

Okay, good to know I can write from whatever perspective I like and I don't have to be the leader constantly. A question though. How do you change stuff in your nation? Do you just announce the change you want to do (e.g. building more ships, improving weaponry, etc) and then you'll give me a time estimate of how long that'll take or... Excuse me, I'm new to Nation RPs.

I'm going to wait for the first post to start things off, and then I'll start writing about The Great Nation of Oxfrieght. Always nice to get some inspiration.

Not everything has to be finished in your sheet. This is about common sense. Just don't start using stuff that you haven't 'published' in your nation info and such. Surprises are all well and good, but don't go about inventing stuff on the spot too much. It needs to be fair.

Generally what happens is that you write what your country does, what are the prevailing issues, sentiments, actions etc. Do you send out emissaries, build a fleet and such. A handy thing is to include a "Too Long; Didn't Read" (TL;DR) section at the bottom of your post in which you put what your post was about in a few points. It gives a summarised outline of what you've been up to. After a period of time, which will be a sensible thing, you can start seeing the fruits of your labour. I don't want to work with an absolute equivalent (1 day of OOC = 1 week IC). That would heavily favour people with buttloads of time on their hands, whereas this is about writing, not RL time management.

@Sini Can I be the first post with the Ryukyuans or should I wait for you?

You can go ahead. I am just going to make the first IC post blank for announcements or handy stuff as an OP.

Expect a map tonight (at the earliest) though tomorrow is a safer bet. Everyone but Cold and Captain will be in the same sort of area as the last example showed, I think. Apologies if this inconveniences anyone, but I will not be around a lot today.
