there were mentions a few days ago in the IRC about getting an IntCk worked out. While we can help with that, we can't do it without having any parameters to work with.

Yeah Ima sort stuff out, and PM Rare to see if he'll ccome post and if not then I guess I'll just put a Miller up so Forsythe can swoop down, or Fallen can tell the Captain that I ain' awake yet.

But I should warn you guys I am planning to rewrite Tempest and sort out how things work around, not jump into action and such so quickly. If you feel we should continue tell me now, however if you all want to try this feel free. I'd probably start from pre-launch and the final choosing of the crew to get some interaction going. Of course the first mission would be different. If anyone wants to keep going tell me, if not then I will rearrange it now.

I think that perhaps the relaunch might be a better idea, it allows us to more seamlessly sort out the things that have cropped up thus far.
Things like the bridge situation and the command changes and droppouts in the ground team.

A reboot might be ideal. Character interactions as well as future problems, cooping with the ideas/anxiety about going up into space in a way man hasn't yet. Not to mention the funny/sad scenes that can come out of it and a possibly determining how each of our pcs thing of others, even leading into the fact of getting settle when we launch.

Either way, you've got Joseph on board because we can't let the whipper snappers have all the fun! :p

Oh and the other thing that can be more smoothly fixed with a reboot is the pideon-holing a few characters are suffering from, Astridh for example. I know Ellri wants to broaden her areas of expertise a bit.

Oh and something that has occured to me now is that perhaps the first mission should take place entirely aboard ship, that way everyone gets to know each toher and has to rely on each other beyond the normally very seperate groups the characters fall into.

Like getting boarded or something...

FFS, reboots are universal killers. There was enough of that with the guild down. How about we somehow finish this, go for repairs, and the reboot basically starts as that, would that work?

I like the idea of a reboot, mainly cause it's rather fun to watch Echo and Sep exchange ideas and discuss in extreme excitement about what they could do in the chat. I even got to help a bit which was neat! ^^ Not to mention the fact they are opening it up for more variety of choices with PCs, races and ship options including a slight shift to more... Interesting date.

Well, I'm usually on it around this time everyday when I can.

I disagree, one of the RPs I'm in only got better after its reboot.

I would also argue that we are virtually dead here already. As far I can tell, something like half the crew have either dropped or never followed through with their application.

On the other hand, those of us still here are dedicated to keeping this running, and at least a few of us keep in contact outside of Tempest and so can bug each other to get their acts together. I have confidance that a reboot wont kill anything but the problems.
