@HaltingBlooper *Saarebas crazy head cannon time!* Well what I thought, for a while actually, is that these corrupted Gems are actually what is left of Rose's rebellion. Gems who couldn't deal with such a horrible war between their own kind and end up so confused and twisted about it they eventually loose themselves, becoming these monsters that they are now.

Welp, this is really random, but I really feel weird playing as such a young Evenkite and often feel myself slipping into her older self's mindset sometimes, so hearing that you think all of our characters are done well (which I agree with for sure, because seriously, your characters are all great) is really reassuring, because I feel sorta wonky with Eve sometimes. XD

That's basically my theory, except that it's not exclusive to gems of Rose's rebellion, but to gems of either side that have become this twisted/confused/hopeless/etc. Gems don't even need to have been part of the war to become corrupt; it can happen to any gem if in the right circumstances, though the ones Steven and co. encounter are from the war since they're on Earth and whatnot. I like to think of corrupted gems as sort of parallels to witches in Madoka Magica, but ye.

@Saarebas And don't forget the Cluster, a monster in its own right. This would prove that Homeworld knows what its doing in regards to amalgamating the gems.

@pyroman I think that was more their way of trying to address the Fusing problem they must of been meeting as they fought against the rebellion, we can see from Jasper that Homeworld Gems look down upon Fusion. If the rebellion was using it to their advantage it is only natural that Homeworld would want to see if they could too.

@Loony @Raijinslayer I've really enjoyed both of your characters. I like how Reggie has been written so far, there's something really cool about a guy who can walk up to someone who is (admittedly, unbeknownst to him) practically a planet-destroying demigod and offer him beef jerky. I've also really liked Evenkite's inner monologue and her banter with the other characters, she's been really well written so far.

Remember, Sodalite is strange, obsessive, and had only been alive for a good thirty minutes. Her acting childish is a given until she starts become a strange and silent recluse.

@Akayaofthemoon Well she and everyone one else abandoned this rp last time we did it, the only people who stayed was me and, it appeared, her but I guess I was the only one to care enough to stick with it. Not meaning to say anything bad about Ghost since life can always kick you in the arse but it just seems that she didn't care enough or didn't have the time to stick with it twice now.

@21308 Let's give it time, because something might be up; they last posted two days ago, and the last time they posted was four. They might still be having phone troubles and has been unable to reply, or felt overwhelmed by the amount of posts and simply posted elsewhere because it'd be easier to catch up there. If they had left, though, it's probably because the group was becoming too big, since they said they weren't too comfortable in them. And though I'll really miss them and Howlite, I'd rather they not compromise their comfort over this. It could also be what Kronshi said, but again, let's give it time. If not, well, I suppose there's a free space for another gem...But we'll have to think of what to do with Howlite.

On a completely unrelated note, I love how freely Eve can go from one mindset to another. She just went from angry grump to dork mode within seconds, and went from dork to 'just you dare try something funny with me, you little shits' mode in about two minutes. :P
