After our long awaited renovations, after a rouge accident we are finally open to business, again. You may notice we have improved the Academy for the better - you must find these improvements for yourself, or just ask any member of staff, they'll be happy to help.

Welcome to Mana-script Academy, or as the outside world knows it "For the special" before you are accepted you must fill out a form to be excepted.
We do allow murder, vandalism or any crime.
Location: On an island between Britain and America. There's a town below a hill, that the school is on. You are allowed in the town, except during school time.
Ranking system: Students are given a score based on the entrance exam. If you are in the top ten of the ranks are on the student council, to discuss parts of the school. Number 1 is the student council president, who overall gets the final decision to improve the school. To rise in the ranks two things may be done. 1: The higher your overall grades the higher you will go. 2: Challenge another student to a rank battle, using a gauntlet - on your arm but leaving your hand free - that you're given once you're accepted, if you win and the other student is higher in the ranks than you, you will rise a rank and they will fall. If they are lower than you, you won't rise. If you lose, you will fall a rank, no matter what, even if they a higher rank than you.
No abusing your powers and only use the abilities outside of assessment and the safety of a classroom if you are in lethal danger.
If you wish to have a battle to climb the ranks you will be given a band to where that will create a stable environment that won't affect our world in anyway.
If you aren't ready for that we aren't the school for you.

Arcadius 'Magi' Innocenti

Name: Arcadius 'Magi' Innocenti

Abilities: Arcadius is a master at all elemental spells, proficient in others such as time and healing. He can cast most magic thanks to his families ancient Grimore, and enhance them further by channeling them through his staff. He can summon his Grimore at will, more often than not he is seen carrying the massive book studying it's arcane pages. He is much stronger than his frail figure makes him look, the book he is carrying weighing nigh 100 pounds. The book itself was enchanted with a spell to make it weigh more so as it would be MUCH harder for a thief to make off with it, should they live long enough to incapcitate any member of his family.

How could you work in a team: Support, Heavy Infantry, You name it.

Personality: Arcadius is one to keep to himself, a mysterious and silent fellow. He is not known to speak much outside of casting his magic, and if he did it's not more than a few sentences before he's back to studying his families Grimore and ignoring the hell out of you. It has been known in the rare occurances where he allows you to be his friend that he will actually talk to you like you exsist, and that he is a pretty funny guy.

History: Arcadius grew up around magic, his entire family powerful magic users for hundreds of years. His families Grimore consisting of thousands of pages of magical knowledge over the years, his family name something of a legend amongst magic users. Ever since he could walk he was made to learn magic. His parents died when he was 16, at which point he enrolled in the Mana-Script academy to hone his magic skills as well as so he would have a decent place to live. Ever since his parents died no one could get more than a few words out if him, save for the rare occurances of him having a 'friend' who turned out to be nothing more than a thief after his families rather valuable Grimore. And now here he is, 25 and still at the academy.

Abilities: Chen utilises what many call The Tarot Deck. It is a set of spells that were thought to be lost after the fall of Babylon. Each spell has unique properties and can be used in conjunction with one another. Some spells are too strong for Chen to use at the moment and will kill him if used improperly.

The Tarot Deck

The Fool: At the moment it just deactivates Chen's magic but when mastered it can turn off enemy magic as well.
The Magician: Allows control of Wind Magic. The user can create harsh winds and live without air for hours at a time. When mastered the user can create winds of Category 5 Hurricanes and stronger and user will no longer need to breathe to live.
The High Priestess: Allows analysis of enemy magic and enemy, at the moment it only tells the basic nature of said magic and basic information about the enemy. When mastered it can tell the user everything there is to know about the spell and target, spells analyzed will be copied and usable by the user within seconds.
The Empress: Allows control of Ice magic, the user can only create basic icicles and weapons made of Ice, when mastered can create deadly snowstorms and can change the weather of entire states.
The Emperor: Cannot be harnessed at the moment, when mastered can allow user to control entire armies with mind control.
The Hierophant: Complete Photographic memory, but only if you make sure to pay attention. When mastered, the user can recall any detail from any memory they have and forgetfulness will never be a problem again. Is always on to a degree causing a miniscule drain of Magic at all times.
The Lovers: Allows healing of wounds in ranging from cuts to broken bones. When mastered, a lost limb will mean nothing as it grows back before your very eyes.
The Chariot: Allows flight, when mastered light will barely be able to keep up with you.
The Strength: Increases physical strength and speed to Olympic athletes levels. When mastered, allows users to lift entire buildings easily and Sprint distances of entire states without breaking a sweat.
The Hermit: Allows Teleportation to an extent. The user can teleport distances of less than a mile, th teleportation itself involves the user dissolving into "something" (User can choose what said something is) and then reforming in a new location. When mastered, user can teleport between dimensions and planets in the blink of an eye and can weaponize the teleportation by teleporting into a foe.
The Fortune: Unusable at the moment, when mastered can let the user bend the universe's probability to his will and in essence, make him lucky or an opponent very unlucky.
The Justice: Allows use of Light Magic, at the moment the user can only create bright lights and harm minor demons. When mastered, the user can create an avatar of Light as an armor and fight within it. Cannot be used in conjunction with The Devil.
The Hanged Man: Unusable at the moment. When mastered can allow resurrection from Death. Seriously.
The Death: The user can cause rotting of objects and people to an extent. When mastered it allows the user to kill with touch and make a building rot away in the space of seconds.
The Temperance: Allows equalization of Magic levels when user and target are close enough in power ranges. When mastered can let the user become equal to anyone.
The Devil: Uncontrollable at the moment. Allows the user to channel Dark energy from what the Babylonians believed to be Lucifer. No information available on what can be done when mastered as nobody has mastered it. When control is lost, demons possess the user and use them to do... unspeakable acts.
The Tower: Allows control of Lightning Magic. At the moment can only generate minor amounts of electricity, when mastered can let the user create powerful thunderstorms and produce electricity for entire states.
The Star: Allows user to control emotions to an extent. If the user wants to make someone happy if they're a little bummed out than he can. When mastered can cure depression, make enemies erupt into tears for no reason whatsoever and become paralyzed with fear in the midst of battle.
The Moon: Allows user to turn invisible. When mastered the user can mask his magic to make himself completely undetectable.
The Sun: Allows user to create fireballs and control fire to an extent. When mastered, the user can make the sun feel like a candle on the verge of being blown out.
The Judgement: Setup for The World. Requires target to be immobilized and a one hour chant to begin The World.
The World: Unknown, all that is known is that Babylon would still be standing if not for the use of The World. Use of this spell kills the user no matter what.

Personality : Chen can come off as a sarcastic jerk, a man who hates rules being broken, a narcissistic nihilist, but under all of that is a guy who would do anything to protect those he finds important.
History: Chen is the heir to the Alon legacy, the Alon's are famous for their revolutionary potion making techniques and willingness to sell said potions at a low cost. If you've bought a potion, it was probably made in a Alon factory. As such he is quite rich and is more than willing to spend that money. Unfortunately in order to gain that money his parents had to die. It was a warm August afternoon when radicals bombed the Alon headquarters and killed his mother and father. Since then he has changed his name and traveled the world in an attempt to quote on quote "find himself". In his travels he found the lost city of Babylon and discovered a branch of Magic thought to be lost, The Tarot Deck. He currently can only utilise certain parts of it but when full potential is unlocked a master of this magic can change reality (To a certain degree). He recently entered the Academy.
Other: Is quite sensitive about his height.

▪stone like skin on her arms and legs that acts like non-newtonion fluid meaning it hardens when a sudden force is applied but when nothing is happening it is rather soft and but not squishy

How you could work in a team:
she's able to be an up front attacker and damage sponge

Personality*:
Aleksandra is a pretty quiet person though this doesn't mean she doesn't want to talk, in fact she enjoys others company most of the time through she most likely won't add much to the conversation. She is a rule abiding student preferring to use her Abilities to help keep order in the school, which she enjoys vastly, though this does get in the way of her making aquantances because she is seen as the dog of the school. She gets excited about sports and participates in strength based ones most of the time though will run track.

History:
Aleksandra comes from a mountain village out in the deep east where there wasn't much to do.... except fight monsters and in turn practice fighting. She helped protect the village along with her father and the others on the watch. She has taken down multiple beast which were at least twice her size, she has done this both by herself and with others so Aleksandra is used to working with others. Aleksandra is naturally proficient in fire Magic and knows a bit of other elemental magic as wellsuch as lightning and ice but they will never be as good as her fire control. She came to the school after a the biggest beast yet attacked the village, scattered the guards and made it disappear, now she acts as though she guards the school.

▪Her magic is mid to close range except her wind element which is her only long ranged magic.
▪she is a trainee/member of the disciplinary committee.

He has knowledge about artifacts, and is excited to begin taking other classes.
How you could work in a team:
Support, trapping the opponents in magic circles, and providing potions and magic items for use; Attacking, by summoning more powerful demons - a risky business.
Personality*: Damian is a quiet type, keeping to the shadows. Because of his time spent in the company of immortals, he will take long whiles to consider things, and develops strong, steady emotions, that can last for days.
History: Damian was born in a small village in Ireland, just down the road from the ruins of a monastery. When exploring there, at the age of 7, he found a book of hermetic magic, written in Latin and Irish.

Keep in mind while creating characters your power level should be about street level. You might be able to bring down a building if you're trying really hard but we don't want much more than that. Also while you're waiting if you've finish creating your character take a look at the Goggle doc which is very much a WIP, and sign up for classes.

hm.. hello everyone lol.

..i'm not sure what character I should go with personally I will emit.

My mind is either wanting to go with a character based on shape shifting, illusion, or go back to my power in the original rp with pure summoning with a minor augmentation from a different power... what do you guys think I should choose? I ask because I can usually trust ya guys to help out when my mind is buggered for the moment.

@olcharlieboi Considering that we have an illusionist, a summoner, and someone who does all of the above, a shapeshifter would give us some nice variety. Of course, considering that this is a magic school, you could eventually branch out to learn other things.

hm.. ya I do realize that.. which does kind of suck some, but eh (shrugs) hm.. if I went with shapeshifting my type of shapeshifting is usually abnormal, because they don't just shapeshift into creatures, people, or different sizes, but they can also change the material of their body, like turning their body into pure metal. which causes them to be unable to move but able to take a hard hit, also the fact when ever they shapeshift any injuries is recoverd, physical injuries. doesn't mean that they wont run out of stamina, or be hit to hard mentally. Though of course since this is a school he wont know how to do all of this off the bat.

My head is having a bad day today I guess lol, normally I could decide on something in a heartbeat. I may go with shapeshifting, but I may also play around with some other stuff, to mix into it to make it feel just.

Abilities: Complete Shapeshifting, with Talent in Copy, and animal taming/communication
How you could work in a team: Offensive and Support, depends on the situation and what form he can take.
Personality: Shy, Tends to not like being around people, Can be kind when opened up to, and hard headed.
History: His from a small village, a village that was common for producing powerful users of the earth, they could hallow out entire mountains, and more without much trouble. But he was different, he was the only one born differently.. since he was a baby his shown talent in shapeshifting, but he was never able to practice or train properly, so he still has a ways to go in completing his power. he was able to practice by himself when he was alone.. which was often for the people discriminated him for being different. He has taken a liking to having horns and a tail so tends to keep this form.
Other: His Copy abilities only work when he takes the form of the person he wishes to copy, and he must have knowledge of their abilities. he tends to carry a few books about creatures with him.. his very much into mythology.

ah this feels nice... question is what age to make him hm... I'm almost tempted to go with that young genius kind of deal, making him younger then a lot of the others and bit out of place, I mean if he can change his form, he could look older but eh (shrugs) what you all think? I did the animal taming/communication because if he can change his form he can communicate with creatures without much trouble, and befriend them hence taming.

13-25 hu hm.. well giving me that kind of range makes me want to make him 13 lol, like I said I am thinking of making him one of the youngest in the rp, some reason I feel it just feels right for him. considering technically he could change his age with shapeshifting if he knows enough about it, but his a shy person so he'll probably prefer the younger look.
