Appearance: Glasses, greatcoat, gloves, boots, scarf similar.
Hair may have grown longer and unkempt, hat may be different [stocking-cap, flat-cap] or simply not there.

Place of Residence: Prairie Du Chein, Wisconsin

Strengths: Insight, First-aid, survival/backwoods-liv'n
Weaknesses: Hard of hearing, going blind, thin/weak.

Belongings: Mosin Nagant with butt-pad, slip-on shell-holder (10 rifle rds, in pairs), dat bayonet, and full accessories [cleaning-kit, mag-pouches, rifle-sling attached to butt-pack instead of rifle], and about a dozen stripper-clips, a 3/4 length #3 fire-axe, and a folding-shovel.

Also included would be a medium (school) backpack on an improvised pack-frame, bedroll-pack, and a butt-pack/rifle-sling improvised as a bondolier.

Personality: Careful and precise, despite a reckless fatalist attitude. His altruistic tendencies have generally meant a good reputation. His wary shrewdness however stems from a long history of people who take advantage of his generosity.

Name: Justin Holdner
Age: 21
Occupation: A University Student focused on being a Media Graphic Designer/Media Marketer.
Nationality: American
Appearance:

Justin Holdner

Justin holds a black and grey checker patterned backpack of an average size. There are two main zipper pockets, as well as a small one on the very front of it. On both sides of the backpack is a stretchy string mesh pocket meant for drink containers, although they don't really work as well as intended.

Justin stands at about 5"11 and wears a water-resistant jacket that is rather baggy and large on him.

Place of Residence: In the suburbs of New York City, born and raised baby.
Strengths:
Athletic- His constant involvement in sports and healthy eating has given him a very health body, easily being able to run 3-6 miles at a good constant pace.

Open Minded/Tolerant of others- He's very intuitive about others, and understands that he doesn't have the answers to everything. To him, everyone has a voice, despite his opinion of them.

Likable- He has a great sense of humor, and it's quite hard not being able to relate to him in some way or another.

Weaknesses: Too-Selfless, Naive, and has deep struggles with tough (Especially humanitarian) decisions. He bases his opinions off of high moral values that he expects himself, and others to follow. Justin also has the tendency to be hard on himself/take things too personally.
Belongings: In his backpack he has a half charged Iphone with earbuds, a box of 8 granola bars, and one full 500ml plastic waterbottle. In his jacket pockets he has a basic

with a brown leather sheath. He has a few random spare pieces of change in his pant pocket. He carries a crimson blue, lightweight metal baseball bat that is partially in the backpack with the handle sticking out for quick use if needed.

Name: Conner Davis
Age: 18
Occupation: He worked at Perkins, give him a break the kid's life was just starting out.
Nationality: American

Appearance:

He's Korean, duh. Conner left his home ironically wearing a shirt that was all black and in white letters read "Death is only the end if you assume the story is about you." This shirt meant a lot to him considering he's always been a happy person he encouraged people to look at the big picture rather that themselves first.

Place of Residence: New York City, I know the exact Perkins he should work at. I was there once.
Strengths: Conner was very good at hunting always going bear and deer hunting with his dad as a father son bonding thing, he's also very good with a hunting bow. Smooth talker, he was one who was loved by his school for the reason that he can talk circles around anyone, make them feel important or make them feel like a piece of dirt.
Weaknesses: He's a bit overtalkitive at times which could get you into a bind in these types of situations. At this point in time he's a bit overwhelmed by the walkers. Along with the fact that he isn't really a big guy, he's not built for strength.
Belongings: He keeps with him his bowie knife and his hunting bow (crossbow) along with a small bag with a water bottle in it, that's about it.
Personality: Conner is a nice guy, being talkative he loves having conversations and is not known for judging anyone on appearance. He feels everyone has a purpose and they just have to find it and be okay with it. He attempts to get along with everyone and hopes they all like him back being a bit insecure on that part. The things he hates include, people who are just downers, open mouth chewers, and mouth breathers. He is also a very touchy person having liked hugs and snuggling with his friends. It's nice you know?
Other: He's gay, just so you know and also he calls his knife his David Bowie Knife.

Strengths: Proficient with a handgun at ranges less than 30 meters, reacts well to stressful situations, sensible, practices good hygiene despite the circumstances.
Weaknesses: Talks too much, can be overtly violent and prone to violent outbursts, difficult to earn his trust, an addiction to cocaine.
Belongings: An M1911A1 Colt chambered in .45 ACP.
Two 7 round single stack magazines for the Colt.

Personality: Michael was born and raised in a tough neighborhood, South Boston. He grew up in government housing with two brothers, raised by a single mother. Constantly grew up getting in to fights and displays an attack first kind of personality. Worked as an enforcer for a South Boston based Irish criminal organization, has a total of seven bodies on him. Does not hesitate to kill another human being. Very unpredictable.
Other: Grew up taking boxing and Mixed Martial Arts, knows a lot about fighting.

You don't need the food and water included in belongings, though, since they're perishable (As in, a year down the road, he likely won't still have them, so it's a moot point to include them in the CS). Feel free to describe them IC, though, as food and water are definitely concerns for all the characters.

@hagroden You don't need to wait for everyone to post before posting. Generally, a good rule of thumb is to wait for two people to post before you post again. So, for example, You post once, then I post, then Trooper posts, then you can post again. This isn't a rule, just a guideline.

Also, just updated the character roster! There are 10 characters as of right now (11, with the inclusion of Trooper's character, which isn't on the roster yet). I'll be getting a post up later tonight!

A gunshot rang out and it drew her attention to an SUV near the city limits sign. It was a fair distance away and she had trouble making out what was going on due to a couple houses blocking her view. A gunshot meant that someone was alive.

Hey, sorry to do this to you (I loved the rest of your post) but I just wanted to point out that Desmond's pistol has a silencer, so a loud gunshot wouldn't be heard. Is there any way you could edit this a bit so maybe she just sees him, or something?

Also, @EndlessThoughts, just noticed that you're starting out in upstate new york. This is totally fine, it's just that all the rest of us are down in Wilmington, Delaware, so you may not run into anyone for..well.. quite a while. You might want to make some/all of that first post a flashback, as in, that's what happened during the first week, before he drove south toward Delaware? It's totally your call.

Name: Anastasia Abramova
Age: 23
Occupation: Ballet Dancer
Nationality: Russian


Anastasia just barely reaches 5'3" and weighed 94 pounds before the zombie apocalypse.

Place of Residence: Presently lives in New York City but she does own a place in Moscow.

Strengths:

"Ballet Magistral" - Ana was considered quite a gifted ballet performer and while being able to dance hardly equates to applicable skills today, her finesse with her movements and her level of fitness are unmatched. It'll seem like she'll never lose her footing while she out sprints the competition.
"Tight Squeeze" - A small figure can be quite valuable in many scenarios but namely hiding. Very tight crawl spaces can often be overlooked or offer a possible route to safety.

Weaknesses:

"Handle with Care" - Ana is probably the smallest twenty-three year old left and her size makes her extremely vulnerable to being overpowered by quite a few individuals, even the rotting ones.
"Pauper's Drop" - From living a quite pampered life to one of complete fearful misery, adjustment has been tough for Ana. She is hardly eating, barely sleeping, and finds herself sick quite often.

Belongings: Very little remains of Ana's original possessions. A few of her very expensive clothes lay crammed in her "inherited" military-issued duffle bag. Otherwise, her wardrobe consists of many different pieces she has collected from many people's belongings. For protection she also "inherited" a police standard-issued 9mm pistol and a police standard-issued shotgun. Ironically, Ana has a very scarce amount of ammo for her 9mm, a gun she can confidently handle now, but has a plenty of ammo for the shotgun, which is considerably more difficult to handle due to her size. Transportation, an NYPD Crown Victorian, has been taken care of thanks to her "inheritance" again. Finally, she keeps a few mementos from her past: her ballet shoes, newspaper clippings of articles that praised her work, pictures of the different casts she worked with and a photo of her family.

Personality: Ana is very proud, a bit timid but very sociable, very dependent, and can be a bit irritable. An apocalypse was really the catalyst for Ana's changing as a person as she very often fallen prey to the stereotype of being a "snobby starlight bitch". Many people will find Ana is much more tolerable as a result but Ana's change came for her own well-being. She constantly struggles with adapting to the grittiness and responsibility of this new era, so she constantly seeks someone or a group of people to keep her safe.

Other: The term "inheritance" is one that means she has taken an old comrade's equipment when they passed. So far, she has only "inherited" an expired NYPD officer's equipment. It is entirely due to that man, that Ana escaped the crammed NYC alive.

Loud no but there would still be a pop. Silencers don't suppress the sound entirely
