That is why it is there. I have had people 'not see' important posts. I use it to show that there are two Mictlantecuhtli and I don't use it all of the time. But those are my reasons for using them.

That's why you highlight the stuff that they need to read in particular, not the entire post. If something is important, write it in red, so to speak. but if you write everything in red, it'll just be the norm, and no one will notice it.

Very true which is why I use whatever color hits my fancy. I wish that people would actually read and post accurately. If you know what I mean.

Please don't try to be subtle. Red is an example, and red is a color that has statistically proven to get people's attention more often than other colors, and still have people follow wahtever is said.

Yes, if people read thoroughly, it wouldn't be a problem, except my point still stands. If you make the entire post massive, it just frustrates people. Sure, they read it- but would you like it if runners for president hung flags right outside your door, sot hat you had to walk through them to get outside, and you couldn't remove them?

I might use just red if people in this RP will read what is important. But I am not saying that I will, just might. It wouldn't bother me if there were flags in my yard because I have had flags galore in my yard. All the various utilities, cable, construction company, the company who does out furnace cleaning and the yard crew left several signs about winterizing the yard. All of them were up from a week to 6 weeks due to utilities, cable people and the one from the heating company which was a way to get a free cleaning.

I guess you can say for the most part I am fairly lenient when it is a temporary thing. Just don't get your hopes up.

It's an example, you're not supposed to take it literally. It's basic debate. I have my point, here's an example, here's a suggestion on how to change, and you refuse to do anything because flooding everything with the metaphorical, example red is better than really pointing out what is really actually important.

@AislingSorry to disappoint you but I completely agree with @WilsonTurner. He has made a very valid suggestion which you should at least take in to consideration. I honestly couldn't even force myself to read your first IC posts because of how large the writing was. The text color doesn't bother me...but the size of the text certainly does. It doesn't look very professional and he offered several viewpoints to make your introduction posts more appealing to the eyes.

I personally think you should take his advice. But consider me here just munching on the popcorn and focusing on how I shall introduce my character.

Yes he did but I have my own reasons besides those I stated. You could shrink the screen of the laptop which I do the opposite when I have trouble reading the screen. I now declare this subject is closed.

um. Which is hard to do on a phone. Which a lot of people on here use. Sorry, but I just looked at the post myself, and that is a bit excessive. Headers are meant to be used for...welling headings. Or shouts. Not...normal words.
