I don't have the time right now to put the work into writing like I would love to. What with school, therapy, and work plus trying to maintain the guise of a healthy social life and my online activities. Oh and playing with me cat. That's really important. I just don't have time. Given enough time and material, and assuming that their Muse is cooperating with them, I think everyone is capable of a good and length, well written post. It's just a bit of effort. But it really does pay off.

True, but the group that I rped with before demanded quality posts every three days. And I'm like...nope, no way in hell, a whole entire galaxy of nope at being able to do that.

Life likes getting in the way of our obsessions....

It's a passion for me, not an obsession. I fully intend to publish the novel I'm writing, via publisher or on my own.

And that, is exactly why I require a single quality post of (preferably) three well-written paragraphs, every week. And I will be satisfied with that as long as you actively participate within the OOC and plot planning. All suggestions are welcome.

@ViolentViolet I can't promise that I will be able to post 3 paragraphs. Sometimes I get writer's block or my brain is just generally fried. I will do what I can and I am usually good at adjusting to the length other people are posting to but mine may be short sometimes, not one liners (god no never will I ever give a one liner) but it may be anywhere between a paragraph or two. I will do what I can to keep it at three I just thought a fair warning was in order.

I would love to read it over, but what kind of critiquing are you looking for?

And... here are some questions, since the OP doesn't have a ton to go by...
-Would it be possible for Catalina to have a car, albeit an old one?
-Is the group meeting all at once, already together, or a mix?
-Where is the group (state, region, country, etc)?

-Do you want me to make up some graphics for the RP?

I'll stay out of the advanced vs casual debate, except to say this: I STARTED rping in advanced, and have been at it for several years now. I am coming to this forum BECAUSE of the casual, as it's something that can be written relatively speedily (with quality, of course) yet still give me that rush from reading other posts, which will be coming faster due to the casual nature. Not that I am dropping advanced styled writing, this is just a nice relaxant. Like a chef making a sandwich instead of a three course meal.

Reasonable. I am strict, but compassionate and understanding when it comes to writers block. Angel knows I'm cursed by a picky Muse myself. If you can keep it at two well written ones, with action that gives everyone something to react to I'm happy. I just prefer three, even though I only require the two. Given a week to respond you should be able to manage that. I would hate to play the only female character in our little role play.

@Gate Keeper asdfghjkl!!!! Y'all are going to leave me behind.

Also to everyone, should I post a secondary female character? All that's left is her history, personality, and appearance. She's a farm girl, turned gym teacher, with depression.

Whatever needs to be said about it really. My writing has some improvement to go though, I just can't pinpoint all my own shortcomings all the time myself.

The OP has enough to go by, and if you follow the outline you know what you don't have :)

1) No she may not. All weaponry, supplies and vehicles are in a group inventory to be set up as of yet.
2) If you missed this then you weren't reading it.
3) Montana

@ViolentViolet Our characters are all accepted correct? If so do you want us to move them to the character section?

My two cents on the advanced/casual thing: I prefer advanced RP generally, as I rarely have trouble writing a decent amount and I much prefer better description and character development and yadda yadda yadda (the principle reason my CS is sparse in backstory/personality is that I prefer to discover characters in RP - I'll figure out how he acts, but those are my guidelines).

The main reason I tend to stay on the casual side is because posts tend to come much faster here and RPs are less prone to crib death - oftentimes I'll really like the idea of an Advanced RP, but it'll take everyone a week to fill out the massive character sheets and they'll never get off the ground.

So... high-casual stuff like this is ideal for me, I'd say.

Yep. Sure are and please do. Also, my own character is up. She's missing a couple things but I need to figure them out or they're already in the cs lol

"She keeps a log of everyone's allergies and noteworthy injuries so she knows what to use and what not to use each individual, medical wise."

I added this to Lara's extras. Just thought of it, thought it was a good idea for a former nurse to come up with.
