Take for instance, the widespread islamophobia which seemed to be slathered all over every garbage “news” story that the mainstream networks shat out. People were scared of metahumans. People were scared of muslims. Why not put the two together?

In any case, @Raining is accepted. And I honestly don't mind Kingfisher's phrasing; evil is not going to be PC. Now if he'd said something like that in the OOC, we'd have obvious issues, but he didn't.

Haha, I'm not offended or triggered or anything. Just found it slightly surprising that the phrasing would be used, even in a fictitious manner, with how the world is right now.

Just to clarify a few things; I'm not condoning being a massive bigot. I feel like a well-witten villain should reflect the worst of us back on ourselves, and Zaiden does that by exploiting the general publics islamaphobia, which is a pressing issue IRL, and using it to drum up resentment and fear in regards to metahumans, and establishments like the academy. That said, I wont make every post something to do with current affairs.

Equally, my next post was going to be from Zaiden's perspective, not the janitors. You guys over in hero town are free to control him, and play out the shooting however you see fit.

Heh, glad you're hyped, my friend!

And I think my main focus right now should be on making sure that my villanious students have something to do, so I'm happy for the heroes players to write out the shooting between them. Also, if I were to write the janitor's perspective it would entail a whole lot of back-and-forthing which would just slow down the pace of the game.
