I don't know if I agree with the Surfer being LN, the Hulk being N, and Galactus being NE.

Though really people are rarely defined as one alignment, people are three dimensional and nuanced.

This is why I almost always classify my characters as Chaotic Neutral, because they could be any of the alignments at any time depending on the particular stress and circumstances.

The exception is someone like Billy Batson or Kai-ro, where you'd have to Break the Cutie in order to get them to be anything other than Lawful Good. Hell, with Billy, you'd probably have to Break the Cutie to get him to swear worse than "Golly gee, Mister."¹

_{Though I do miss my Red Lantern version of Kai-ro. You guys should fear my ever introducing Atrocitus, because I think my Red Kai-ro was a stroke of brilliance.}

Honestly, LG gets the bad rap among D&Ders, but I get annoyed way more at the CNs that always seem to overpower the group. Friggin' Rogues who just want to stab and steal from everyone. I signed up to be a damn adventurer, not an accessory to grand theft!

Well. Surfer generally avoids all conflict unless he feels it is his duty to intervene. The Hulk only wants to be left alone, at least in his classic sense. Galactus only eats planets because he literally has to, or he'll die. He has no malice toward sapient species (usually) they only happen to be in the way of his next feast.

I guess he generally obeys the will of his god, which makes him Lawful and he generally feels his god compels him to do good...but his god is kind of a bloodthirsty one...but he's also-when not completely insane-been known to hold back and temper his God's wrath which makes him...good but by his own standards not always Lawful? Or does he switch between his own inner Law and Khonshu's depending on which he feels better serves good?

Chaotic Neutral players, or at least bad ones are the bane of every party. They are out for themselves, sure, but those individuals can have lean towards good or evil as well as make friendships. Not every one of them has to be thieves or assassins as well.
