I earned the Advanced Red Belt in Krav Maga this morning. This is the last belt before Black Belt. I have been training for three years and have one more year to go before I begin Black Belt testing. The test at my school is three months long and is extremely tough.

As an aside, is everyone happy with the way the game/system is working? On a scale of 1 to worthless how useful is the system in this game? Would you guys prefer a traditional rp narrative? I'm really taking a liking to the world and want to see it developed to it's potential. Not sure the constraints of this game will allow that. Just a thought-it can always be used for another game too.

The Pace is something I am VERY Happy with. I cannot respond more frequently. I have not had time to make my first post yet. I hope tomorrow I will have time, but the kids are home from school, so who knows.

I study Krav Maga, which is an Israeli Self Defense form. Our school uses the Muay Thai strike sets and borrows its ground defense from Jiu Jitsu. This is the advertisement from my school. This video includes my instructors and students who many of whom in this video are friends of mine.

Firstly, cool stuff. I'll watch i later. Secondly, I also prefer the patient pace. It fits my schedule.

I'll give the game a "7" on a scale of 1-10 for now. I feel optimistic about it. But we also haven't gotten to see the engine get running yet, either.

Logging in to say farewell. I have had to take on another job to support my family and will not be able to continue running this game or role play at all really. I apologize of course for dumping this on you guys-I know a lot of time was spent on your end of things. Feel free to use any/all/none of the material here for your own purposes etc. I don't expect you guys too be cool with me running off like this-but hobbies are second to my personal life. It was really cool chatting with all of you and sharing ideas-I wish you all well. Goodbye!

Believe it or not, I am happy for you. Like you, my family is more important than hobbies. I enjoy the process. In this hobby, RPs are rarely ever finished. I am rarely the one who quits an RP, but more often than not they never finish. I believe in the past 10 years I've seen one, maybe two finish. It is the nature of the beast. Take care of your family. bro! ;)
