Personality:
With a tendency towards the theatrical, Koji can only be described as... Well, a delusional kid who never grew out of his habits. Though his accuracy is top-notch, Koji's inability to keep those delusions in check make him a pain for most people to deal with. Though he acts like something he clearly isn't, Koji never actually expects people to play along. If they believe him, then he ends up getting flustered and ends up in a state of disbelief more often than not before trying to find a way out of the hole he just dug himself into. More often than not, this simply ends up making the problem BIGGER, and sooner or later everything compounds and he's forced to come clean.
Or, well, just ditch town for a while and let things cool down instead.

Abilities:
Koji is an amazing sharpshooter, though his accuracy is decreased when dual-wielding (and firing) his crossbows simultaneously. He is also surprisingly mobile, able to scale things like large trees or boulders in order to get good vantage points on his targets or dodge slower attacks.
Thanks to being raised in an inn, Koji's also a decent chef, both in AND out of the kitchen. This would be great, if it wasn't for the fact that he can't catch any game because of how he always announces his attacks before they go off... Which usually means that the animals are off and running well before he can shoot them.
Because of his limited funds, though, Koji has also become somewhat obsessed with collecting all the bolts he's fired after a mission is over, simply to skimp on any funds that would involve him having to buy more in the future.

Notable Equipment, Traits, etc;:
Equipment:
Crossbows: Koji dual-wields a pair of automatic crossbows, one red and one blue, that magically reload their bolts. He has taken to calling them 'Phoenix' and 'Dragon,' respectively; made of what seems to be mana-infused steel, the bowstring never seems to wear down on either weapon. No, they don't change the bolts in any ways; they just reload automatically.
Mask: Actually just a mask that someone was selling at a festival. Koji concluded that it was imbued with a special power, but it's actually just a normal mask.
Bolts: Yes. he has bolts. To fire. From his crossbow. Normal bolts. They're not magic. He's lying through his teeth when he says they are.
Traits:
Chuuni: Living in a world of fantasy where stories of heroes and villains pervaded every nook and cranny of his life, it's a wonder that he didn't grow out of it and see it as the norm like every other person his age. Koji adds flair and drama to a lot of what he does, and overdramaticizes the mundane more often than not. He's capable of speaking normally, of course, but that's no fun.
Knowledge of Useless Trivia: As a byproduct of his chuuni nature, Koji knows a lot of random bits and pieces of mythology that may or ma not ever be of use. A majority of it is, in fact, also a product of his imagination, so take his blathering with a grain of salt.
Actor: Because of his theatrics, Koji's actually a damn good actor when not going full chuuni. Whenever he gets coerced into a performance, the kids love him and his acts.
Easily Caught Off Guard: Self-explanatory, but this applies to daily life just as much as it does his behavior. Many times, Koji loses himself in his own thoughts on whatever his subject-of-the-day is. As a result, his lapse in awareness becomes mindbogglingly huge.

History:
Born to the owners of an inn in a town somewhere out west, Koji grew up surrounded by stories of adventure and of grandeur. While his older sister grew up relatively normally, Koji became enraptured in this world that was basically just outside of his reach. His parents, being the sensible people that they were, wanted him to take a safe job in the town instead of going out to adventure. His sister shared their sentiments, offering to help him find something else he liked that wouldn't put his life at risk.
Of course, Koji would have none of that. As time passed, his parents (at the behest of his uncle, who Koji convinced with a few bottles of wine on the sly) decided to let him travel the world, hoping it'd get the delusions out of his system. With a pair of crossbows that he picked up with almost all of his savings over the past decade, Koji left home to travel south, the first stop on his "adventure into the unclaimed wilds."

Other: Is an adventurer, but makes more money babysitting for people than ACTUALLY adventuring. Works part-time at a daycare to help entertain kids.

  • Personality: Maria is normally a rather friendly individual, who believes deeply in honor and justice for everyone. She takes pride in her skills with a sword, and in general is quick to agree to honorable and noble duels. She is also proud of her heritage, coming from a family of warriors. She wants nothing more then to display her skills and do good for others, and carry out a successful life as a member of the Anthellon family. The problem arises, however, in the situations she runs into. Maria is prone to acting with exasperation and irritation when someone does something she sees as stupid or silly. She considers herself a sensible individual, and those who do not act sensible get on her nerves rather quickly. Beneath her friendly and honorable attitude, Maria has a rather short temper and really can't stand people behaving stupidly. Her friendliness gives way to palm-to-face irritation and angry insults when she gets truly irritated with all of this. Maria is also very easily embarrassed(especially be comments on her figure). Embarrassment can even immobilize her in a fight, no matter what the circumstances are. Well, almost, at least.
  • Abilities: Maria is a skilled wielder of the sword, using a one-handed style with no shield. She can switch to two hands in order to increase the power behind her swings, but most commonly only uses one. She is fast on her feet and rarely stops moving in a fight, and can hold her own against a variety of ridiculous foes like this. Her cooking skills can be described as "explosively terrible", a fact she is embarrassed about. She has a very nice singing voice, a fact she is also embarrassed about.
  • Notable Equipment, Traits, etc;: Maria has her family sword, made of silversteel. This means it is very light and durable and possesses a powerful cutting edge. She commonly uses light leather armor to avoid slowing herself down in combat.
  • History: Maria was born to the Anthellon family. They are nobility with a reputation for raising honorable warriors, and naturally, Maria was no different. She has even set out to prove herself as a member of the Anthellion family, with an air of honor and justice and annoyance at stupid people.

Personality: She’s a pretty quiet and clumsy person, who talks very little and is totally oblivious sarcasm. She is a very kind natured person at heart and has an older sister type aura. Kain was one of the workers for the guild, originally as a quest board manager and waitress she changed her occupation to an adventurer after breaking to many plates with some encouragement from her friends. This gave her the opportunity to meet some people without being forced to by work and also to help work on her social skills. In battle she is the same as she is with people, quiet and clumsy she has not shown any potential at being an adventurer because while she does carry a sword she is not particularly good with it. The only reason she does get hired by some parties is because she is a good cook and much stronger than she looks, often able to carry most of the loot they collect. Though few have seen her real potential when she throws a punch, claiming to have seen her dent armor when she is not using her sword. But Kain never admits to it and others do not believe the stories told by those who have seen it.
Abilities:
- Warrior: As this class Kain should be able to equip a wide variety of weapons and armor but tends to keep her armor light and only uses a long sword in a fight.
- Uncanny Strength: Despite Kain's meek appearance she is much stronger than she looks, it came as a result of working in her own tavern and also at the guild for so many years, kicking out drunk patrons when they got rowdy and carrying full barrels of alcohol up from the storage cellar.
Notable Equipment, Traits, etc;:
- Guild Uniform: Though it can be confusing to newcomers Kain still wears her guild uniform with some armor over top. She still owned several of the uniforms when she was fired and they are the only cloths she really owns.
- Longsword: Made of hardened steel with gold plated guard and leather bound grip, it is fairly standard for a weapon and there are many like it.
- Clumsy: She can sometimes trip over own feet when carrying things or bump into objects when not paying attention.
History: Not much is known about Kain's past accept that she used to own an tavern in the city of Calpheon to the north. She was forced to close it and moved south to Lerot where she got a job with the Adventurer's Guild. She worked in the guild for a while until she was fired because of her clumsiness. The guild master gave her a second chance though and let her rejoin as an adventurer so she could find work.
Other: Kain is a follower of Ardley, the God of Board and Travel. She represents this by wearing an amulet of Ardley's symbol on her belt, two stalks of barley carved into a gold coin.

  • Appearance: Living dead girl.
  • Personality: Happy-go-lucky and good humoured, Morana doesn't seem to let her current undead status get her down too much. If anything, she seems to revel in it, as it lets her fight more and more powerful enemies without having to worry about holding back or getting maimed or anything. And that's a good thing since she really, really likes fighting and will take any excuse to start a brawl. Kind of a simple girl, really; all she cares about is a good fight and will stand by anyone who shows her where the best fights are.
  • Abilities:
    • Undying Strength: Morana is superhumanly strong, enough to lift that massive slab of rusted iron she calls a sword with ease.
    • Swordery: ...Well, kind of. Her sword is a bit too big and heavy to be used for dueling, for one thing. Really, it's a big slab of rusted iron that's specifically made for killing large monsters, and although her strikes are kind of slow due to how unwieldy it is she's perfectly capable of slicing someone in half if she hits.
    • Staunch Refusal to Die When She Really Ought To: Pain is something that happens to other people, especially people who aren't an undead monstrosity who has an incredibly dulled pain threshold. The level of punishment she can endure without really noticing it is rather absurd, really, as she can be riddled with arrows, bludgeoned, stabbed, have her limbs sliced off... She can even survive decapitation without any real problem, although destroying her brain will probably kill her. Any lopped off bodyparts can easily be stitched back on afterwards, really.
  • Notable Equipment, Traits, etc;:
    • That Goffik Armour: Hey, she doesn't just wear it because it looks cool and edgy, y'know! Not only does it help protect her from some of the stronger blows she might suffer, but it helps keep her body together during a fight. After all, trying to put your intestines back in after they've fallen out is hell.
    • Sepultura the Big Freaking Sword: ...Yep, that's a big sword alright. If she was a guy I'd say she was compensating for something, really. Technically it's magical, but the only magical trait it seems to show is the fact that it can be so rusty and not fall apart. It's big, it's heavy, and it hurts like hell if you get hit by it. And if you survive, you probably get tetanus or something.
  • History: A mercenary, born on the battlefield, raised by war, killed by death. It was something she expected, really, since it kind of came with the whole job. However, after she died, she kind of... Got back up. Morana felt that she hadn't quite lived up to her full potential yet, and couldn't just die like that... And for some reason her refusal to die kept her going despite all medical evidence showing that she is dead. She doesn't seem to be animated by any magic or weird diseases or anything like that; it seems like she's became a zombie-like creature purely out of her own willpower.

Personality: Mavick is a self proclaimed hero. He enjoys fighting evil and helping people. He enjoys it so much there is almost no way to possibly imagine himself doing something other than adventuring. However, if Mavick did try another profession the young hero you see now would become a short old hermit who likes to speak in riddles within a week. Fighting for justice and peace is more of an obsession for this young man.

This trait however doesn't make him a very friendly guy, but simply a very focused and determined man. The lengths Mavick will go to in order to help someone can range from comical to quite disturbing, but this makes him a rather valuable temporary party member. Eventually his own recklessness can and will get others in trouble.

Abilities:

Master Swordsman- Capable of duel wielding swords effectively and outfighting most warriors in single combat. Mavick has trained almost his entire life and can impress even the strongest of swordsman in skill.

Inhuman Reflexes and Agility- Mavick seems almost naturally capable of reacting extremely quickly to any possible threat. It allows him to survive most situations when he's outnumbered or simply facing a stronger opponent.

Magical Knowledge and Detection- Mavick comes from a family that is expected to fight any enemy which forces them to be very knowledgeable. This is especially the case when it comes to magic. Being able to identify and sometimes neutralize magical items or traps has saved Mavick countless times. The only magic he was able to learn was the ability to detect it properly.

Notable Equipment, Traits, etc;:

In another world Mavick could use his skills to become a powerful Hero rivaling some of the Demon King's strongest Lords. However, in this one he is cursed with equipment made to test heroes like himself.

Sword of Destiny- This weapon takes the shape of a dark black longsword. Its aura is strong enough to turn away some of the most daring adventurers, but when wielded it will bring doom. The doom it brings is terrible luck to its wielder which often ends in their death. Mavick however is from a long line of heroes who's own destiny keeps them alive when they should've perished. In this case the sword simply makes every single fight Mavick enters a struggle. Mavick could try and kill a rat and the rodent could potentially escape while giving him a wound.

Lorick's Dagger- Another Longsword that shines a bright emerald green was said to be a weapon wielded by an old god known as Lorick. This god was a trickster that brought down an almost forgotten civilization and its weapon was always given to would be heroes. Whenever this weapon comes into contact with another weapon, or armor it shatters. Its cursed forcing the one who uses it to keep using it until they die. Mavick is capable of wielding it with some minor effectiveness by being able to parry attacks just before it shatters. The curse forces him to be unable to use other weapons, but if this weapon is a very powerful magical weapon it will simply break like Lorick's Dagger. Both will reform in seconds.

Both weapons are essentially curses that Mavick is unable to get rid of and severely hampers his fighting ability, but this to him is just another challenge for a hero.

Adventurer's Journal- Mavick has done almost nothing but travel for over 5 years. He's met many new people, discovered ruins and killed a lot of dangerous creatures. It would only make sense for Mavick to document these experiences in his journal. This journal contains information on different cities, races, monsters etc. This along with other books detailing the history of the land he traverses has made Mavick somewhat of a wondering scholar. When facing new dangerous monsters or seemingly unknown territory Mavick usually has some knowledge of it.

History: Mavick SwordStorm is from a large family of heroes. Most of them were adopted and trained to become the best of the best. He was brought into the family as a infant and essentially was raised with greatness in mind. His whole life was a mix of training how to fight for others and learning enough about the world to learn why he should. To be raised in a environment where he needed to be a fighter and in some ways a philosopher was a struggle. This was a struggle he endured for years in order to become the warrior he is now.

At the age of 15 Mavick took on a quest that would change his life. The quest was a mission to destroy a cult that were kidnapping children from farms. He found their hideout and defeated the group. When they surrendered he was offered two weapons. These weapons were something there new god was meant to wield, but his own power impressed them so they saw fit for him to use them. Mavick took them as general loot for his trouble, but didn't realize the curse behind them. Every battle after that nearly saw him killed or sometimes humiliated. He went from a top hero to a skilled but rather weak adventurer. This was something he couldn't abide but luckily he trained his whole life for something like this. He would keep fighting in order to overcome this curse and defeat the greatest evil despite a almost divine handicap.

Other: Sometimes Mavick talks to his swords and occasionally he thinks they talk back to him.
