Current "My life is KO after KO with no ref to call the fight." Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan has no right being this relatable

Getting ready to go to my first convention today. Pretty sure I've got everything packed, though I'm sure I'll end up forgetting something somehow

I started getting back into playing Magic the Gathering this week.

My condolences

(Seriously, though, hope you're having fun with it!)

@Daxam So, do you fancy Zac teaming with Zen and Dotty? If so, what world do you fancy visiting first?

Well, I don't have an issue with it, but I don't have any plans for Zac until CoM, at the earliest. He's more or less gonna be combat support when needed and pop in during major plot points when everyone else is together.

For the time being, I was gonna have him hang out at Olympus and possibly take care of whatever Hades might be up to until everyone can gather together for the tournament

If you've got ideas, though, I don't mind hashing things out over DM's
Hey, all, I live

I'll try to get a post cranked out this weekend. Between work, the time change, and the weather, I've been up and down for a while lol
<Snipped quote by Daxam>

I imagine summons working different depending on the character calling them. Lkke a White Mage character would have more like an FFX summon that steps in and acts as their offensive measure.

For a more combat focused mage they could be more like FFXV where they're the pinnacle of offensive magic embodying the purest form of their element and just completely wreck things with one blow.

I like this idea. To take it a step further, maybe the stronger summons have certain "rules," for lack of a better term? I mentioned it before, but I plan on giving Zac Titan at some point in the future. Given Titan's size and the scale of his attacks, it would make sense for Zac to be able to combine with him in order to limit collateral damage. That way, a single step won't end up flattening things he doesn't want flattened lol
Zac sat in his cockpit, watching the main screen as he ran some final diagnostics to ensure his ship was ready to fly while he munched on his breakfast, that being a simple granola bar. He never ate much in the morning (at least, he was sure it was morning. The perpetual night sky over Traverse Town made it tough to tell), especially before flying. Leaving an atmosphere was always a bumpy ride and he didn’t want to deal with an upset stomach so early.

As he sat in his ship, his mind began to wander back to the islanders who were no doubt getting ready for their own adventures. Part of him thought he should at least go back and wish them luck, but he figured he should leave them be. It would be quite some time until they saw each other again and he didn’t want to intrude. “Wish I could’ve at least given them some more tips,” he muttered past a mouthful of granola before shrugging. They had already been through the destruction of one world and helped save another one right after. “They’ll be fine. Besides, I can’t give them all the answers. Sometimes, it’s better to figure things out yourself.”

He glanced back at the empty seats behind him and sighed softly. Part of him had been hopeful at least one of the islanders would have joined him. He had been on his own for so long and he missed having someone to talk to that wasn’t his ship, someone that could hold a conversation. Someone to watch his back. But, he had to admit, their plan made sense. They could save more worlds if they split up and not only was he the most experienced out of everyone, but for the time being, he was most likely the strongest. If anyone would be fine on their own, it was him.

The three-tone beep from the main console, signifying that the diagnostics were finished, brought Zac out of his self-pitying thoughts. He looked at the screen and nodded. “Green all across the board,” he said before popping the last bite of his granola bar into his mouth. He crossed his arms and sat back in his chair as he thought about his next move. He could always just hang out in Traverse Town until someone called him. His search had gone cold some time before his crash landing, after all. Besides, he earned some time off, right?

That didn’t sit right with him however. Why should he sit around when the newbies are off doing all the work? Even if they didn’t need him right away, there had to be something he could do to help them out. Leaning forward, he closed out the diagnostics window and opened another containing star charts. His ship was equipped with a long-range passive scanner, enabling him to get the rough coordinates of worlds as he flew. As far as he was concerned, it was a life-saver, otherwise he would have gotten lost a long time ago.

A quick search and he had the coordinates for Olympus. “Even if their friend isn’t there, yet, I can at least check things out and make sure the world's still there for them to meet up,” he muttered to himself as he primed his ship for takeoff.

As Sigrid began to lift into the air, Zac looked out of the canopy at the rooftops of Traverse Town. “You guys all stay safe,” he said, directing his words not only at the new Keyblade wielders, but also at his friends who made Traverse Town their home. He fastened his seat’s harness and took off, his ship roaring into the perpetual night above.

@Daxam The powerful summons, especially if going the priming and semi-priming route should wait until Kingdom Hearts II with them being similar to Drive Forms.

You can have Zac take care of Hades. I think besides the tournament the only other plan is to have Uther Pendragon appear.

Sounds good. I'm gonna message you later after I get off work with an idea I had

I'm fine with doing 4 besides Olympus and the endgame. Mostly because I won't be posting as much until all our characters are together or if Zac gets called in lol

Also, remind me, what, if anything, did we decide for summons? Particularly the more powerful ones, like Titan, Bahamut, etc.? Were we still gonna go the FFXVI route with something similar to priming and semi-priming?

Also, also, were we gonna have the focus of Olympus be the tournament or was Hades gonna pull something? I kinda had the idea that I could have Zac head over early to take care of Hades or whatever to clear the way for everyone else, unless it conflicts with anything

Also, also, also, I'm slowly working on a post lol
Seconded. It's outside of what I usually play, but this is giving me ideas for a character. I'm gonna wait before I decide on anything concrete
