yep
So this is modern day mythology? Meaning that we would be gods/goddesses of certain things in modern times? Just making sure I got the setting correct.

yes. you have it correct.
nice. :D
Any questions?
Forget being stuck with Greek deities. . . you can play this game as your own characters. The "gods" of thunder, fire, love, etcetera, similar to, yes but not identical to the Greek gods. In the beginning of the game you have more power than the fictional characters such as vampires, werewolves, witches, etcetera, who also exist, but you are still not invincible. As you grow in power you gather the ability to gather people to your service. Incredibly powerful abilities are yours, and you must use them, because you aren't the only big kahuna in town. A Rogue Government Agency, as well as extremely powerful enemies such as other gods, mighty vampire lords, and a huge list of enemies are yours.

WW1 to WW2 is a HUGE time span for weapons, it basically redefined modern warfare today. You can't just say "between ww1 and ww2" since its like a 30 year period where just about everything military changed. Organization, weapons, tactics, leadership, you name it and its been altered.

Again, it doesn't matter if the CE has mages and stuff, the NCR has modern weapons. No amount of armor is going to stop a .50 BMG shot from Anti Material rifle or a missile from a missile launcher or a laser/plasma from an energy weapon or a grenade going off at point blank. While the NCR beat back the BoS, they weren't going at them with sticks and stones, even the Legion and Tribals have guns.

By the logic I'm getting, you're saying that basically the Fire Nation has a chance against Wolfenstien The New Order's Third Reich because the Fire Nation has magic.

yeah... . I guess I'm allowing too much of a time period difference then.
@ActRaiserTheReturned

I remember someone else trying this a while ago and I'll be bringing up the same point as I did then: how are you going to balance it?

I can't imagine the Cyrodilic Empire's legions and swords doing too well NCR's power armor and modern weapons.
How are the elves of LOTR supposed to fight off the Eldar from 40k?
What is stopping the fire nation from rolf-stomping over everyone else?
I can't imagine anyone doing too well against the Galactic Empire considering they have near infinate manpower reserves, lasers and the Death Star + Star Destroyers.

Well there's a tech limit. You can't have this role play game have a technology power level over Midgar. . . (Around World War I/II-ish, in weapon's at least)

The Elves of Lord of the Rings, in the Second Age and First Age are like minor deities.

Cyrodilic Empire's Swords aren't that good but they have Battle Mages, possibly a larger army than the Californian Republic, maybe the Dragonborn, etcetera.

"And then the Fire Nation attacked, but Cyrodil counter attacked."
Imagine a RP where Skuldafn, Midgar City, the National California Republic, Azeroth, The Cyrodilic Empire, etcetera all exist on the same world. . . well, this role play is exactly that. A world of countless possibilities.

Well played.

I'm glad you think so.

It's Apocalyptic/Post Apocalyptic. Players can play paranormal characters before, during and after the Apocalypse, either knowing full well what's going to happen, trying to prevent or even planning how to survive the aftermath and the event. You would most likely play ex-military/police, master survivalists at worst, or Pagan deities for the closest you could get to over powering characters.
Sounds kinda cool. I'm keep my eye out for this, but can you give us a few more details about the excecution?
