Supernatural Role Play (Not the TV Show)

Pagan deities;
Vampires,
Werewolves,
Magicians. . .

These are the creatures of the night, and the lurkers in the secret corners of civilization around the world, seeking to destroy the creatures of darkness or to live among them, as them. Vampires live on Human blood, Pagan gods occasionally eat the entire person, or worse. Werewolves also hunt either man or beast, and the magicians are Human beings, but they can decide whether you remain a person, or become a toad instead. On October 31st, 2016, a supernatural horror on the scale never before seen on Earth is about to over flow, wiping out most of the Human population. It's not a matter of if it will happen, it's a matter of how the Human race can survive. Perhaps the Government's secret Super Soldiers have something to say about it?

Worlds of Myth (A deity role play)!

The planar dimensions of gods were first created long ago. The Void, The Astral Plane, The Golden Lands, The Heavens, The Three Worlds of Mortals, The Moon World, The Underworld and The Abyss. The first world of mortals is the oldest, of course. The next world is not as old, and we live in the third planet of the mortals, some say that this world was not directly made by the deities but that it was created by natural events and phenomenon that were somehow put into motion.

The Architect made the worlds of mortals. Here, we stand in this world, will the gods prosper us, or will we be utterly destroyed by the machinations of their conflicts?

He's stronger than the Hulk (Sometimes), even when the Hulk is somewhat enraged. His healing factor is almost as good as Dead Pool's (but he can die). . . He can grow to giant size, larger than sky scrapers, he has many telepathic powers and super intelligence. . . can fire lasers from his hands and eyes, and fly, and manipulate his molecular structure to have many powers.

Also, do you want Apocalypse to be on the council? Maybe he could be Hades or, with his technopathy, maybe Hephaestus.

Edit2: Are they a descendant of Rouge? A variation of her powers could let them assimilate power of other mutants over time.

Hmmm, well, let's see, my character could have a great healing factor, survive Apocalyps'es blood transfusion and completely receive his powers.

My idea for a Mutant is someone who has blood infusion successfully from Apocalypse.

Monotheism v.s Cthulhu Mythos v.s Polytheism

I am not attacking anyone theologically, this is a role play and interactive story

Billions of years ago, Azathoth, Yog Sothoth, Hastur, many Great Old Ones and Shup Nikkurath invaded the celestial heavens where Yahweh and his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit resided. Yahweh smote Azathoth, putting him into a comatose state. Yog Sothoth was defeated by the words of Jesus Christ as he spoke his enemy's exile, casting him into Hell, where his omniscience was impossible to wield. The Holy Spirit first banished Shup Nikkurath, after restraining her, and cast all the Great Old Ones out of the universe, at the same time fading Shup Nikkurath into a dimension of pure void, where she resides, working in tandem with Nyaralathatep to revive the Great Old Ones and the Outer gods.

This all came before the time of the Primordial pagan gods. Gaia, Nyx, Chaos, and the rest of the oldest Pagan gods, including Cernunnos went mad with power as they roamed the created world that God made in six days. On the seventh day, the Pagan gods arrived, and spent that figurative day, no matter how long or short it was, wandering to and fro, fighting with each other and making their own races in worlds of their own, connected to the Earth, using the Earth like a glorified chain restaurant, vacation resort or perhaps even a sweat shop, depending on the deity. It seemed like Yahweh, Jesus and the Holy Spirit disappeared forever, but as the centuries and millenia passed, the Edenic Age approached. Other gods remained, but whether they are actually deities is up for debate. The Pagan gods have a wide range of power, from mildy stronger than most immortals to being as powerful to immortals as men are larger than the tiniest quantum particle. Finally, the deities and great immortal creatures that remained during the Edenic Age relaxed as Lucifer was mysteriously causing their slow downfall by angering God.

While Death existed outside the Garden of Eden's borders, after Eden disappeared from the world, the gods became weak, and began to crave sacrifice, intelligent being's as food, or worshipers in order to remain strong. These polytheistic gods began to scramble against each other for belief systems to thrive, acquiring Human beings as currency, and rarely barter. Finally by 3,000-2,500 BC, God returned to the world in the form of history and Abraham, patriarch of Jews, Christians and Muslims. If the gods were afraid before, by now they were emaciated and famished. The gods of Egypt were defeated by Yahweh, by 20 BC-20 AD, Jesus had defeated Lucifer, and the Holy Spirit led the charge against Pagan gods directly in Europe. China, India, Africa, and obscure regions in the world outside Eurasia were the only "safe" regions for Pagan gods, and Buddhism. ((Buddhism's it's own unique story)).

Pagan gods almost died out completely and for sure, as the Holy Spirit sent angels to fight gods in non-believing lands, and Yahweh protected remnants of Judaism from complete annihilation, by crushing an attempted Pagan backlash by Vlad Dracula, who attempted to summon deities by blood sacrifice, Adolph Hitler wielded the Spear of Destiny and Atlantian Relics to destroy the Jewish people, Stalin attempted to resurrect the Alien Polytheistic Great Old Ones (He actually managed to fully awaken Cthulhu, who is now merely restrained and not asleep in R'lyeh, but restrained in a Siberian post Soviet Military Base. All events attempting to destroy Jewish people have been thwarted, but Pagan worship is on the rise.

Cthulhu has hijacked Paganism, absorbing Pagan believer's worship energy and some stolen souls to weaken the prisons of Azathoth, Yog Sothoth and Shup Nikkurath until the barriers are now very weak. Buddha is attempting to reseal all the Prisons but Cthulhu's avatar, Nyaralathatep's avatar has released Great Old One's back into existence. So far, Shup Nikkurath's avatar is the strongest corporeal being on Earth, outshining even the great avatar, Thor. If the seals are not restored, then it will be impossible for Humanity to survive.

Okay, so just letting you know I'm doing the first IC post real soon. I know not everyone in the mentions has posted a CS, or has just not completed theirs, but I've included you anyways in case you're still interested in joining.

The basis for the meeting of our characters is that we were all invited - or summoned - to some creepy abandoned warehouse. You can decide what exactly this invitation entailed of for your specific character, in order to actually make them want to go - for example, my character will have received a message containing *delicate* information only she was privy too. Naturally, that's too suspicious for any decent hunter worth her salt (HAH. GEDDIT? SALT! Because hunters use - .... I'll stop now.) to pass up.

So, I look forward to our meeting!
