Doesn't anyone care about grandpa Sauranath?
<Snipped quote by Vec>

YOU STILL OWE ME DRAGONS ON GALBAR.

DO NOT MAKE ME SEND VESTEC TO WHERE THEY ARE.

Ahem. . . dragons?

Sauranath!
@ActRaiserTheReturned Damnit it Act! I purposefully spelt it wrong - now they have the correct spelling! Small letters and everything T-T

KHOOOOOO!!!
@ActRaiserTheReturned Yeah - that was very close. You nearly told them all about Algamax.

Oh you funny guy. What's an amalgamax?
Sorry.
Um, I didn't give any names, at least.
@ActRaiserTheReturned Oh really? Like which gods? As this is Divinus Gaiden I assume we're talking about Earth's gods - like Ra and Akatosh.

No, I'm asking if I can say the Origin of Invictus and Fate, but I do have an idea for who started Divinus, a guy called ---------. (Forget I said anything. But you still don't need to know his name do you?)
@ActRaiserTheReturned Then we are in complete agreement

I was considering exploring the origins of some of the most powerful gods in Divinus Gaiden too.
@ActRaiserTheReturned As I say, I think the idea - as is the case with your ideas in general - is very interesting. But its gods are very different from Divinus gods.
For instance, you say

<Snipped quote>

while traditional Divinus gods have no need for worshippers and are neither strengthened nor weakened by having or not having them. That is unique to demigods. I mean, it could be the case that in that particular universe Fate and whoever was/were with it decided to somehow alter how gods function so they would be dependent on worshippers - but I'm not even sure if that's within their power to do.

I'm not opposed to creating a Divinus RP where the gods have disappeared and there are only demigods/heroes who are worshipped as though they were gods, or an RP falling into any other genre that is set in a Divinus universe but not centred on gods. However, it would have to be consistent with the basics of the Divinus multi-verse. Like gods not being dependent on worshippers. And gods, generally, being far more powerful than any mortal or demigod can hope to be. The interest check says:

<Snipped quote>

That is in complete confliction with traditional Divinus gods. No mortal, no matter how powerful or how much of an NPC they are, can match a god purely with sorcery.

Now, this debate has nothing to do with anything of significance - just whether that Divinus will be considered 'canon' insofar as this iteration and the previous two are concerned. If your intention is to create something that should be considered canon, then I suggest you make some changes so that it is more consistent with the basics of Divinus. If you just want to create something fun and standalone and unrelated to 'Canonical Divinus', or another strain of Divinus (a 'Revisionist Divinus' if you will xP) then I have no problem with that at all.

We will be more than happy to embrace it as a heresy and will persecute it mercilessly for many weeks, months, years, decades, and centuries to come! (I joke I joke xDD)

This is Divinus "Gaiden" Because it takes place on Earth. The rules of Gods work differently on Earth, because it's Earth, but it's in the same universe.
The Antichrist has come into power, and the Pagan gods band together to stop the Apocalpyse. The premise is simple.
@LokiLeo789 The Divinus multi-universe has a logic to it - which @Vec may or may not reveal in due time. As far as I can see, Act's Revisionist Divinus does not fit that logic - unless those 'gods' he mentions aren't actually gods but heroes.

It's called Divinus because these "heroes" are conditioned from birth to believe they are gods, they are immortal, like gods, and they're powers are mostly likely genuinely supernatural. So, they are immortal, they possess magic far superior to any mortal, and they invest their souls in their creations. This role play starts seven hundred years, maybe just a little bit longer after that, after World War III. Unlike other Divinus role plays, this role play starts in our Earth after The Apocalypse. When the gods find out that they can manipulate souls and worship to grow even more powerful than they were before is when it becomes like proper Divinus RP.

The nuclear radiation is long gone, but we start in America. Much of the world is empty or sparsely populated from hundreds of years of war and conflict, and the gods rule their countries like Feudal Kingdoms.
