her present attitude. Perhaps it would go better than what she thinks that it will. Once everyone was there in the student's lounge, she began the meeting.
"As you can see around us, this will be a meeting with food. I feel that there is enough people settled in that we can take this time to set up a basic plan of life for the next several months. Everyone please help yourself to breakfast as I speak.
I want to point out that we are very fortunate to have all of our own belongings while these refugees have lost everything that they own. They will need to have all of their belongings replaced and today is the day that I will begin to replace what I can. Here is a quick run down on what supplies that WE will be giving to the families.
I do mean WE as in the student body and staff of Caldwell's.
Some of these people do not have any Magickal Ability at all while others do have a few lower Magickal Abilities that they can use. All of them at one time or another had a Magickal Core but it was removed for reasons unknown to me. I have found that in the back of their minds, they still remember what they could have done. They could have managed to be great wizards and wizardesses.
As we give our gifts to them, I want you to think about why you are giving them these gifts. I want you to remember that our own Mind and Inner Core might one day be taken away from us. When you go through the Testing Tunnel, I do not know if you will survive or not. Only the survivors will be allowed to come out and finish the training.
You will be going through the tunnel at least twice more. Be careful when you do go through. Your Magickal Core may be taken away from you. You will be graded on not just your Academics but also on your Empathic Abilities and your own Personal Resolve. Your Attitude will be graded as well as your Ability to Lead. You will be tested on whether or not you are strong enough to be gentle, rich enough to share and whether or not you are able to encourage another person who is not able to help their own self.
In order to pass this test that has been placed before you, you will need to step back and think on what is needed in this world. You will need to be able to care for others that can not give back to you. Whether or not you pass this test, is not up to me. It is up to you to pass this test. I can only guide you today. I will make the assignments and you will make sure that each part of the assignment is done.
On top of it all, you will be working on your own class work. I will give you your assignment on Monday for the week. You will be responsible for getting the help that you need. This will start next week. I will be working on the new Village and Basic Magic School. I will not be available to you at all times. You will need to figure out how to get your tasks done. Dar, Titus and Adam will be able to assist you as well.
