In the case of Robert Wadlow, tallest man ever, cartilage and circulation was at issue. As height increases, distance blood must travel increases twofold, thus Work done by the heart increases by twice the amount height increases.

That's a human, it's rather irrelevant considering we are talking about a non-human species with different bone-structure and muscle mass. Take it up with Raptor in PM, though, this is hardly the place to argue over what species can do what.
HazmatMedic said I just don't want any "I win because my creature is stronger" malarky.

Wasn't saying that at all. I was stating that you need to understand what it is you are fighting in order to determine who wins and why, but I really don't care much to go further into this discussion.

True, in general humans are weaker than Lorenvolk, but it makes no differance in terms of race - a creature who is as powerful as a Lorenvolk will be as hard to take down, regardless of whether it is human, elf, Tarix-na or otherwise. You could say some creatures are born with more skill naturally, but if someone can match that skill, it's fair game.

Henceforth why the comparison was made with the average representations in mind, not the exceptions.

To the contrary, if Lorenvolk are equally proportioned to humans, they would be certainly slower if not weaker. There is a reason elephants don't look like giant mice.

Not my species, so I'm not exactly the expert on them, but from our discussions on the matter, the Lorenvolk are not equally proportioned to humans in terms of muscle and bone density, allowing them to be stronger, yet retain agility. You would have to ask Raptor more, however, but I know for a fact that they are stronger than standard humans.

Depends on what you mean by "equal skill"If a Tarix-na had the strength of a human, the same equipment, the same training, the same reason to fight, etc. and went into a duel on even ground and neutral weather, then i'd say the odds were 50-50.In the same way, a human that was completely equal to a Lorenvolk in all but size, the human stands a fair chance.

I'm talking in terms of fighting skill, and using the average representative of the species in question. Also, I highly doubt there are many humans equal in strength to a Lorenvolk. In skill? Potentially, really depends on the Lorenvolk and human in question. Same thing with the Tarix-Na, they are inherently not as strong as humans on average, so one that would be compared to a human in such a way would not be representative of the whole.
You also forget the all important "What" you are fighting, as this is an RP with varied species that differ from humans in several regards. I honestly wouldn't expect a human to be capable of going up against a Lorenvolk of equal skill and come out alive, nor would I expect a Tarix-Na to go up against a human of equivalent skill and come out alive.

I'd be happy to work out any sort of backstory or relations with anyone - that is, if anyone finds Seculcia interesting enough to do so.

You're like, literally neighbors with the Dominion, they may have attempted a sea-voyage to your nation at least once in the past, possibly more than that. As I've said before, the primary thing the Dominion is interested in is the culture of a nation, rather than material goods. Depending on how well said visitor is received, they may have sent more with gifts of carved wood or perhaps some of the less toxic flora from the Forest of :C

Yea you'd have to prove yourself through trial of combat. Aka what I said earlier.

Oh, well, yeah that probably wouldn't be very likely, since my people are not exactly skilled in such arenas lol.

Well, if it means anything to you So Boerd I'm on your side and I for one, also had to deal with Alfhedil's hilariously bad temper and insults. Come now bro, I'm sure we can brew something epic without that guy.

Honestly, I don't have beef with you, I stopped caring about that argument awhile back and have thought of discussing possible interactions with you again, after what I've heard from the rest of the group.

Plus I don't think the Dominion and HelCore would have the same kind of animosity that HelCore and Qanaxma Dəniz have, since the Dominion isn't harassed by constant raids. XD Just thought I'd put my two cents into the conversation.

Dominion has animosity for no one, they only -sad face- at people when they shake spears at them.
