as much as I'd love to pre-plan RPs, I've also noticed that's the fast track to killing them. A little planning and a rough gist is fine, but anything beyond that and people don't wanna write no more.

I think Arc-V has demonstrated more than enough times now the tech for that can also be used OUTSIDE of that context, thanks. Entertainment dueling is something the player does, not inherent to the style of dueling.

Players can volunteer in the OOC to play in the first Action Duel of the RP, and afterwards they can do it again IC when it gets asked. Those who do it IC have a higher chance to participate than those who just do it in the OOC, and those that don't want to don't qualify either.

@Scarifar Well, I'll just chalk you up as one vote then. Once the thing gets going in the IC you can have an IC volunteering for two chances to duel instead of one.

@Xeiyenreisha ...Characters who what where now? I was only saying Ethel and Haas remain in the shadows 'cause I'm not in a writing mood, not because I'm trying to force anything .-.

And the volunteering thing is basically just so I can roll the dice on who duels and who doesn't.

I am in all kinds of moods today, but writing just isn't in the cards. Blegh. Haas and Ethel remain in the shadows for now.

I think I'll just be working on booster packs. By the way, any special volunteers for the Action Duel? If no takers in either OOC or IC I'll just roll a die for everyone, but if certain people want it and others not I'll make a custom list and roll from that.

...Well. Characters who volunteer in the IC when it gets asked have two chances to get picked, OOC just gives you 1.
