Current you know, my SO never forces me to say a thing that's on my mind and doesn't mind if I don't always explain myself which makes it way easier to actually tell them stuff. boundaries good.

as much as I'd love to pre-plan RPs, I've also noticed that's the fast track to killing them. A little planning and a rough gist is fine, but anything beyond that and people don't wanna write no more.

@Dynamo Frokane Ah, I'd like Hell on Earth as my deck, and reddish-purple as the ring color.

:c
@HeroicSociopath your profile looks great, what ring and what deck were you requesting?

Very good questions

1. I noted you have requested the Hell On Earth deck but I cant assign it to you exclusively till you have a CS, so get on that quickly and I'll be able to give you the deck as I've noted a few others have expressed interest in that deck.

2. I'm not too bogged down with uniforms but lets say some sort of Dark Blue/Dark Green regular colour scheme.

3. So I could have explained this a little better, a card game does exist in the world but its not the same as the card game you will be playing. 'Mythic Legends' is an in universe game similar to MTG but the 15 cards in your deck are actually magical and cant be bought from regular stores, they are obtained by different means (will be explained as story progresses).

When a match starts, you both enter a 'shadow realm' style arena which is based off of an ancient battlegrounf that the mages used to fight in. You also 'become' you avatar/battlemage profile for the duration of the fight. After the battle is concluded you return to the real world as a student.

EDIT: and sorry for not tagging you, I forgot who did and didnt drop out

I thought we couldn't put it in the cs until we requested it? Either way, I have already finished my character so I'll post it once I get home.
Going to put in a request for Hell on Earth before starting my sheet.

Also you skipped tagging my in the int. check :'c

EDIT: And as for the colour, fossil gray would be nice.

Edit 2: What are the school uniforms like? Further, do we put a written appearance inside bio or do you want to keep backstory and biography separate?

EDIT 3: As I understand it, the card game we're going to be playing already existed in the world. I assume these were played without the summons and such and instead just happened over a table, like how we'd play YGO or MTG IRL. Then, once we obtain our ring, the battles we play will need to have some wager and include actual summons as opposed to just laying cards down and letting the rules of the game do the rest of the work?

Just a heads up on that, I read some of it. I did metion much earlier through the RP that the Telekenetic system in the Neo Angel was classified so I'm wondering which character metioned it in that collab? I couldn't tell who but I imagined certain individuals may know about it regardless.

While it's hidden info, anyone can plainly see it in action. You have to assume it's a function of the machine.
It's not something I really think about consciously while writing. When I write, I just jot down the first things that come to mind, the things that feel right. I often take breaks while writing to reread what I just wrote, maybe reword it a little and definitely fix any spelling mistakes I catch. To that end, when I'm writing a character, I just write down what I feel they would say. Almost as if they're my best friend I've known for years, so I know how they would act being put into a situation.

It's partially self-inserting, but less so in a 'fantasy fulfillment' way and more in a 'I am a different person now. What would I do with this personality?' way. I try to be someone else while writing.

I tend to notice, however, that I can play into stereotypes a bit too much because of that. Or, alternatively, make flat characters by focusing too hard on one aspect of their personality.
Feels like my writing's been on a steady decline. Welp.
Dreams are strange. You don't have any real sense of time, space or feeling inside of them. They're mostly a visual experience, but you don't even remember them half of the time. So these vivid images flashing around inside Serah's head, from cities to deserts and even snow, all jumping from one scene to the next without any cohesion, didn't play on the girl's emotions. It was strangely tranquil, and cold. So, so cold. Wasn't the cold strange though, for this dream?

Well, at least it would have been if it hadn't been interrupted by a ray of warmth.

Serah was sure she felt it. The tingling of something or someone's heat piercing the frigid landscape of her mind. She couldn't tell for how long it lasted in this hazy world, but her brain tied an image to it nonetheless. Snow-covered trees and landscapes melted. They melted into a grassy plain, one with a light breeze passing through. That, too, tingled. At least, the dream told her it tingled. It was a strange tingling, one that didn't actually come from the places where the wind touched her. Not even from the dress, touching her skin as it fluttered in the wind. The tingling came from her chest. But then, she heard something from behind her.

"...Serah."

Serah twirled around in the direction of the noise, and when she did, a flash of white consumed her mind. Then, it was cold again.
"...uuuhn?"

A groan escaped Serah's lips as a flash of light assaulted her retinas. Her brain was fuzzy, too fuzzy to really care about the excess light. Not only her sight and brain were fuzzy, though. Her hearing, her touch- everything felt just slightly numb. Something moved next to her, she could hear some muffled sounds. The girl was a little too tired to turn her head and check what that was, though. She was still trying to get her head straight- make sense of the situation. Where... was she? Serah closed her eyes again, giving them some rest. She... woke up from something. It's soft and warm here. Something's covering her. So this must be a... bed. Something's inside of her arm, too. So this place is... a hospital.

Ah, right... it came back to her. The mission. To rescue Elora. She's still alive, so... the mission was a success? She tried to recall the memory, but it was still fuzzy. Like her own brain is telling her to forget about it. All she knows is that she's alive, and that means this was... NOAH. But the sound she heard earlier concerned Serah. What was that? She opened her eyes again, head lazily turning. Her vision was still fuzzy and unfocused, but she could make out a figure. Black suit, but blue hairs. Black suit. Blue hairs. These two concepts rattled around inside the girl's head for a few seconds, putting them together. Suit meant pilot. Pilot meant squad. Squad meant a few people... and a person with blue hair could only mean.

"...Jason?" Serah muttered in a quiet, tired voice.
Did you get the planetary elements from Golden Sun by any chance?

Either way, this looks decently fun. I'd like to voice interest in the 'Hell on Earth' deck, if you'll have me once you get your OOC up.

I'm still a little confused about how to play the game though, considering there are no numbers on the card themselves. How do you determine how much damage something does on a clean hit?
Not so much afraid to pitch as much as 'This randomly popped into my head and I gotta share this with the world before it's lost for good'

Danganronpa and YGO crossover. Lifepoints are your literal life- get down to 0 and you die by some kinda poison bracelet or something. You can't recover life in between duels, but surrendering a duel doesn't drop your life to 0, if the other accepts your surrender that is. If someone dies by the duel, a class trial is held to determine who dueled the other to death.

I have no idea how it would work- heck, IF it would work. I just felt like sharing my random brain fart.
I'd like to post for Serah, but considering it would take a few hours for her to wake up I'm not sure if I should? Idk, I think the timeline of events would get really confusing if I did right now.
