Current you know, my SO never forces me to say a thing that's on my mind and doesn't mind if I don't always explain myself which makes it way easier to actually tell them stuff. boundaries good.

as much as I'd love to pre-plan RPs, I've also noticed that's the fast track to killing them. A little planning and a rough gist is fine, but anything beyond that and people don't wanna write no more.

Well I'll be. You're actually trying this again. I doubt you'd be willing to throw me back in here after our last runi-in, but if you wish, I can throw Kyogi back on the pile.

Edit: also you have like, two fights of this completed. Why not show those examples?
Since I realised about halfway through today that Armors were a way better fit for Keitaro than Psychic, that's now his deck. Also, because Armors are lacking a bit of punch, have the first custom card in the RP:

Gravitational Barrier
Type: Field Spell
Effect: When an Armor monster you control declares an attack on an opponent's monster, you can have the attacking monster gain 200 ATK for each face-up card on the field.

These will be located in the second post of the thread (excluding the 0th post)
@AdmrlStalfos19 Aight, I'm currently waiting on Sat's opinion on stuff 'cause I can't accept or reject you. One thing though; Kaiba's deck isn't Blue-Eyes. Kaiba's deck is pure power plays, with cards such as Ring of Destruction and Crush Card to lock the opponent down while high ATK monsters such as Vampire Lord, Vorse Raider and Blade Knight beat the opponent down. He also has some defensive monsters such as Kaiser Glider, Giant Germ and Different Dimension Dragon to make it hard for the opponent to break through to his life.

Kaiba clones steadily grew to just sit on one boss monster over time, but I wanted to point out that 'Blue-Eyes' isn't exactly Kaiba in itself. His deck has a lot more nuance, Blue-Eyes is just the ace.
Fucking ouch.

I don't want to seem like an opportunist here, but I do want to propose something now that the chance presents itself:

There's this concept that I've been meaning to try out for a SHSL ???, and considering ours is intent on leaving, maybe I can PM Serious with a sheet and give it a shot. Of course, Serious still has to decide what to do with the current ??? first. I just want to drop this in because stuff happens pretty fast around here, so I want to be quick on the draw.

To be fair I just said he went to visit her, hasn't actually gotten there or visited her yet. So how the visit would go is still in the air as it hasn't happened yet.

Well, we had a timeskip and they went there right away, so it's most certainly in the past and should have happened already.

@AdmrlStalfos19 I'm going to be speaking very subjectively here, as I'm not 100% what Satoshi thinks of your sheet. It's definitely very well-written and I like the rivalry you set up with Leopold, but there's two things about it that rub me a little differently.

The first and most simple one is that I don't really see a link between the decks your characters play and the type of people they are. The closest I get is having the one struggling with self-identity playing something that negates everything, but even that's a little bit of a stretch. What's the thought process behind the decks? Why does Kirari play dinosaurs, for example?

The second is... a lot more subjective and weird. I'd like Satoshi to give his own opinion on it, but to be blunt, your cast doesn't feel very... Yu-Gi-Oh? YGO is very traditionally shönen at heart, so it matches its cast to those tropes. You'll see some inclusivity, e.g. the overweight Tetsuo, some foreigners like O'Brien and so forth, but they're few and far between. You, though, have given almost your entire cast special 'quirks'. I'm personally not against characters like a crossdressing boy who identifies as male, an overweight woman who has to deal with it and a lesbian, but having all of them played super straight doesn't really seem in-line with the general over-the-top fantasy screamfest that shönen shows are known for.

The characters are well-written and I, personally, wouldn't reject you for them. Let's be clear on that. I do like most of your cast, they just seem weirdly out of place in a YGO setting. Just wanted to bring it up.
Not that they can be in wind to begin with, considering we just accepted our WIND representative.
@MidKnights has DM'd me saying his sheet has been updated and Sat's given the o-kay to accept him. Yute is now the representative for the wind dorm.
@KOgaming And what I'm saying is that you'll have to change 'wind because wind', have more focus on the characters and their personalities and use less lingo if you want to be in. It's not about me wanting or not wanting you here, it's about you making a fitting CS for the setting.

But yes, I don't want you here if you're going to refuse fixing your stuff.
