while tru, quantity != quality, the fact is there's enough good writers out there with diverse enough interests to fit most niches apart from the unrealistically specific i.e. kitten beheading RP

About me:
Where do I begin. I'm from Belarus, and fairly proud of it. I've been RPing about a decade starting mostly with chat stuff and some LARPs/reenactments, doing the stuff of this site for maybe half a decade now. I'm a former serviceman, and while I was conscripted I make sure to stay in related circles. As a day job I'm a programmer letting me usually work from home even when we don't have coronavirus forcing us to do so and thus I got a lot of time for RP.

@Andreyich I) the rp is following a newly made regiment of imperial guard not some rabble mob the ecclisarchy threw together to fight some battles. Your character would not accompany said regiment on their new adeventures if he was not recruited into the regiment. II) Also Inquisition is most powerful of all and they stand apart from everyone.

1) I meant at that moment in time, since that was a flawed argument to use at that moment.

2) There is no actual proof of this, even with the madness of Van Dire. The Eclessiarchy controls the Imperium as a whole, it's doctrine,

1) "Independent of the conventional Imperial Guard Hierarchy, Commissars are instead attached to the Departmento Munitorum's Commissariat and are formally part of the Militarum Tempestus."

There are plenty of examples of Commissars executing members of other military branches (like various PDF's) in disciplinary matters in the fluff of 40K. And you forget that Frateris Militia are technically civilians.

2) "The existence of the Frateris Militia is tolerated due to the fact that they have no formal connection to the Ecclesiarchy: they are no more than faithful Imperial citizens eager to prove their dedication to the Imperial Cult."

3) Thus, based on your own reasoning, John is totally subject to the authority of a Commissar.

Source: the Lexicanum.

4) EDIT: Not to mention the fact he's just been conscripted.

I) They are of the Officio Prefectus. Your interpretation of that quote is incorrect. While the Commissars attached to the Militarum Tempestus are part of it, those attached to the Guard have no relation to the Militarum Tempestus.

II) they have no official relation but a Ministorum Priest can still hack your head off if you kill a member of the Militia, and make up a bullshit excuse, and in theory the Ecclessiarchy is the most powerful organization, so the Priest will always be right.

III) no he is not

IV) Where did you get the idea he was conscripted?

Literally what? The Militarun Tempestus has it's own commissars but the commisariat as a whole is not part of it, this is literally in the MT Codex! They only have significant authority over the IG and civilians. They cannot just shoot a Frateris Militia member for discipline. I would have to actually kill the girl for them to do that, and not taking excommunicated, or mobbed.
Commissars are still Astra Militarum. They can't shoot me without getting into a lot of trouble unless I done something reeeaaaal bad.
Once you go Baruk Khazad you can never go back.
John is not a Guardsman boyo. He can't do that unless John does some hardcore heresy.
I'm sure you realise that Angelika has pretty much all the other Cadians backing her up? They'd never let some fanatic lay his hands on one of their own without some sort of retribution. Also, I think you overestimate just how much the Imperial Church really cares about one member of their militia, his life probably worth less than that of a fully trained Guardsman/woman in spite of his fiery devotion and prowess with his chosen weapon.

Oh yeah but I got my bros to back me up.

I'm also not hoping for conflict here, got enough as is. It's basically just a "fuck off" move. And yeah, the church does not care that much as a whole but individual priests and such would care about them.

his life probably worth less than that of a fully trained Guardsman/woman in spite of his fiery devotion and prowess with his chosen weapon.

fite me m8 ur asking to square up right there
Yeah, using them for your actual paragraph would be confusing AF. In speech it would be pretty cool though!
Sorry, just had little to describe. I can edit if you like, make up some background etc. (also twas a phone post :/)
