Hmmm, this does sound pretty dope. What chapters are we allowed, since I assume only specific ones would be stationed around there. Could I say be a deathwatch blackshield that once again has their whole world flipped upside down? Or is there a more limited array of flavours allowed?

Runelords are, Runesmiths are not. In mordheim runesmiths get rekd by like three zombies. Runesmiths literally do two things; make the weapons of the chumps around them Armour Penetrating, null magic, or make shit, and I doubt I will literally make somebody a new Az of Grimnir or Hammer of Sigmar on the spot.

However, if a Runesmith is a no-go, can a Dwarf Ranger also be an option for the sneaky runt?

1) never said that, but you are wearing chainmail which would not be quiet no matter how hard you tried when jumping and besides you would stay immobile a considerable time when aiming etc....

You would not have access to modern dampeners and besides you have a giant-ass reinforced longbow which would due to the high pull, long string, etc. have considerable noise. Besides, (especially to get a clear shot) you would have to be relatively close (even more so to aim that accurately, even as an elf) AND there is the fact that Oid is combat ready thinking that one of Darcyn's men would try to shoot him from the side, so he is specifically looking for somebody to try something.

Even then, this is really of no consequence to you since either way I did not let the throwing axe even fly, let alone describe it as hitting you so you are as you were.
