while tru, quantity != quality, the fact is there's enough good writers out there with diverse enough interests to fit most niches apart from the unrealistically specific i.e. kitten beheading RP

About me:
Where do I begin. I'm from Belarus, and fairly proud of it. I've been RPing about a decade starting mostly with chat stuff and some LARPs/reenactments, doing the stuff of this site for maybe half a decade now. I'm a former serviceman, and while I was conscripted I make sure to stay in related circles. As a day job I'm a programmer letting me usually work from home even when we don't have coronavirus forcing us to do so and thus I got a lot of time for RP.

Aha yes, I thought "how do I make my Paladin more than just a Knight in shining armour" and might have rolled with a tragic idea quite heavily lol. Well, posted him!
@rivaan

Two lunch breaks and nights later and I think he should be good.
@rivaan My idea was for a Paladin, but that said I only played Cata for a year and a hunter; all my Warcraft knowledge comes from voraciously playing through the first three Warcraft RTS games bi-annually and reading whatever short stories and comics are free on the WoW website. Thus for spells, is it fine if I just kit him out with the WC3 Paladin set of spells?

Beyond that, my char idea was for a guy who's family is from Gilneas but a Kul'Tiran father, he would have experienced the WC3 events fighting with the Kul'Tirans Marines for the Silver Hand in general until the point in time Admiral Daelin (who did nothing wrong) was killed. Then he would have returned to Gilneas where he would presumably become a Worgen.
Oh, pardon me, new years drunkardlyness and all, could have sworn I asked when asking about BTs. If it comes up as an issue I can probably make a new guy and all.
Not GM but I reckon your arms and armour will come when the time is right
Posted me lads
Brother Uriel Kelmorian, that was his name. It was millennia ago, it was when he awoke by the hand of the Archmagos, when he joined the Black Templars and it was now. Truth be told it sometimes confounded him how someone psycho-conditioned as extensively as he found difficulty in retaining identity after all his... surreal experiences. Indeed a Marine had little identity and need of one to begin with, but forgetting the past was not something he could so readily do.

When he was told he would be joining the Black Templars he was simply told they were Sons of Dorn embodying his heroism, his self-sacrifice, his fury, a Chapter that retained massive size almost in memory of the Great Crusade. It seemed more... romantic, as archaic and mortal of a word as that was. But he was not quite prepared for the full extent of what he came up against. Unlike many of the unnumbered Sons he grimly accepted the fact that mortals now venerated the Emperor as divine, but that Astartes, of his own Gene-Sire no less could succumb to such? It was the unthinkable incarnate. On his first day as an integrated Chaplain of the Black Templars he was scrutinized with much suspicion and confusion for he was after all a new breed of Marine, the next step in the evolution of the Emperor's Angels. That was natural and expected — things he had prepared for. Yet when he was expected to recite litanies directly referring to the Emperor as a God, as a Holy Father? That was wholly different. He obeyed naturally, for he could in truth do nothing against it. But he despised the state of affairs, he hated it!

Especially the fact he was slowly beginning to lend authenticity to their Prayers.

But a chance came up. The Deathwatch needed more warriors, and he was an excellent specimen. Uriel was a Chaplain and naturally a good orator, but when compared to other Chaplains he always stated that his prowess was not in his speech but in his ability to maintain it in combat, the true calling of any Marine. So he was selected as one for the Deathwatch, for it was known the furor and particular brand of zeal that other Chaplains of the Chapter would provide did not always go so well with comrades in the Deathwatch. For Uriel the honour of the Deathwatch was in truth inconsequential, he had fought the lion's share of his battles before it existed and thus he did not have the hallowed image of it ingrained into him. Instead he saw it as an opportunity to again fight with his former Greyshield comrades, and perhaps he could even once more stand alongside more... conventional Sons of Dorn.
not my best work but posted
Horacio shrugged at the lack of response to his query on if they were looking forward to the event or not, realizing the answer was probably a decisive not, and his laughter at their predicament was most likely not earning him any favours... not that he needed them of course. For now, he decided his input was not needed nor helpful and as a simple syllogism the conclusion would be drawn that therefore he should stay quiet and stay quiet he did.

He examined Bovange disinterestedly, not really appreciating the architecture and such but only rather remembering the general layout of the city should worst come to worst and legging it was the only option.

As they proceeded to the 'preparation room' Horacio thanked the guide but politely declined following the Sisters, not particularly interested in any sort of preparation and preferring to leave them to their own business. Besides, he had to shift a thing or two before he could sit properly.

Indeed, as time came to properly meet the nobs and Horacio caught sight of the servitor checking for weapons his grip upon one of his firearms tightened, or rather clenched.

But... he passed? What? The Confessor was about to ask the man to see if the thing was defective until he realized what a bloody idiot he was. Most likely it didn't check for large traces of metal or some other technological nonsense he knew none of, it most likely just looked to see if outwardly there were signs of carrying arms or armour and his concealment had worked! He happily muttered praise to the Emperor, taking control of himself once more. After Alexa and Lisbeth had spoken the old man took this for his cue and nodded, doing vaguely holy motions and said "Blessings of the God Emperor of Mankind be upon you." It helped to tenderly pad the ego of such people was his experience, and thus went along with the simplest means of doing such.
