She gasped in fear as he pinned her to the couch with his impressive strength. When she looked at his eyes, she stopped struggling. "Nothing", she answered while under the spell of his enchanting eyes.
"You told me. You and your brother. I thought it was a joke when you two made it up. But you actually mean it", she told him as she looked at him slowly.
Intertwining their fingers together, she laid her head on his chest. "Is it true that you have been crushing on me?", she asked him in order to start a new topic.
"I can't when I'm afraid. I need comfort at night when I go to sleep", she said to him as she finally turned around to face him. "We will find him", she said as she held his hand.
Marishka woke up from the sounds of the thunder outside, finding herself on the floor. She got up and tiredly walked to the sink of her home. Blowing out the candle, she didn't see the vampire behind her a few feet away.
