Anna stood up slowly and she was about to leave the cave. Before she left, she turned around and looked at the dragon one last time before leaving the cave. Making it towards her home in the kingdom, she managed to get herself cleaned up before she went to bed.
Anna walked a little closer to the dragon and sat on her knees in front of the beast, a bit scared. "I heard in the stories that you could turn human. Is it true?", she asked as she looked in his reptilian eyes and his scaly body.
Anna managed to get up from the pile of gold and she noticed that it was dark outside with the moon shining in the cave, reflecting off of the dragon's scales. She had to admit that it was beautiful to look at. "W..What happened to your kind?", she asked him, a little shaken up.
She was gonna answer him until he mentioned his kind being eliminated in the past. Her mouth went agape as she watched him walk passed her. "M..May I ask? Whats your name?", she stuttered, still shaking up in fear. She wondered if he was human in the inside and a beast on the outside.
She was gasping in fear as the dragon got even closer to her. She tried backing up, but to no avail by the gold. Her anxiety levels were striking up as she watched how angry this thing was getting while he kept growling at her. She whimpered as she was breathing quickly and her heart was pounding in her chest. A sleeve of her dress fell off her shoulder while the other was still in its place. Hearing his voice in her head, she swallowed in fear. "I'm...I'm Anna. I..I was curious", she whimpered as a tear fell down her face while her fearful words came out. "I..I didn't know this was yours", she pleaded.
Is it possible for this dragon to turn into a man? And with the words in italics, is it his thoughts that she can hear in her head? Or is he really talking to her?
Her eyes gleamed at the huge pile of gold in front of her. It was a bizzare sight to set eyes upon. Anybody could walk in here and steal it. She was inches away from the pile of gold until she heard a growl right behind her, breathing down her neck. She froze and shivered as she felt the breath. She didnt want to turn around as she heard of the rumors of dragons roaming in the mountains. Only one in particular. It was the biggest of dragons and the shiniest. Not to mention the rarest. She did it anyway. She turned around slowly as her eyes slowly widened at the sight. She lost her footing and stumbled backwards, falling on the pile of gold.
The sun was so hot, including the temperatures. The flowers bloomed as a dressed female strolled through them. The dress was in tan and it was sleeveless, leaving a drape on her arms. Leaving her fingers to brush against the flowers as she picked them up and sniffed them. Her emerald green eyes looking around her surroundings while her curly dark brown hair draped her shoulders. Curiosity then hit her as she noticed a cave ahead of her. She was young, like 20s, so curiosity would hit her rapidly. Stumbling to the entrance, she did hear a roar inside. Making a startled gasp, she stumbled in her footing and tumbled inside. Curiosity hit her once again until she heard another roar. She walked a little further inside until she saw a speck of gold.
