Raeya stepped back from the wolf and she gasped in fear as it did so. 

"Where I'm from, we show kindness by hugging. Not by hurting someone we love. My father never hits me. He's a nice man", she gave a friendly smile as she walked back a little. "Why not? I always share my bed. With my brother. He shares his bed with me. It wasn't rude, but kind" she said to him. "My mother never hurts me. She knows magic", she giggled.

Raeya found the wolf fascinating as she saw the compassion that it was exchanging with Loki. She wanted to get close but she knew that wolves didn't like to play nice when around a stranger. 

"On the floor? Lets sleep together on the bed. No one should sleep on a dirty floor", she said to him with a smile. "I see the markings on you. Must have been horrible. Your father is not nice", she recalled as she stepped a little closer to him.

Raeya looked over to see another Jotun child coming out of his hiding spot and walking towards them with shame. She was a little curious about this one, not afraid. He was about an inch taller than her but she wasn't afraid when it comes to comparing others by height. Once Loki got close enough, Laufey took hold of his shoulders and forcefully put the child in front of him so he was a couple of feet away from the girl. 

"Loki, this is Raeya. She is gonna stay with us for two months. Raeya, this is my troubled son, Loki. He'll be a prince soon if only he could man up for once", he let go of the small Jotun and stepped back. "You two play nice now", he said before he walked away.

Raeya was honestly taken aback when Laufey called his own son a troubled one. He didn't look troubled but she was smart enough to notice a few marks on his skin that answered one thing. Child abuse. She brushed it aside.

"I'm Raeya. We probably might have to share a room together if that's possible", she said softly and respectfully before she showed a small smile.
